Peter is credited for this invention!!!
You guys he was on the show We Are Family tonight, check it out!
Mas ele ainda É! Super Talentoso! Os anos 80 foi a geração onde vários Talentos surgiram e fazem sucesso até hoje! Como Ele por exemplo! Peter Frampton! 💜👏💜👏💜👏💜👏
Hoping he would come to Tucson but it's not on his tour schedule 😢
Those under 30 have no idea how huge this guy once was!
Oh I know I still listen to Frampton comes Alive and I'm 28
27 here. Love Frampton.
I was about to protest but then I remembered I’m almost 31! Oh no!
Is
Absolutely, and frampton comes alive was an Album that never left my stereo in the summer of '77. Great memories of that period.
Thank you for....showing me the way
Everyday
Frampton comes alive great album always listened to it when I was young and still sounds great today
I got this album when it comes out and it is still on the wall, with other albums, in the living room.
Frampton Comes Alive 1976!!!! I was a Junior in HS, heard you sing, pushed all my other albums away!! You became my number 1!! Best friend felt the same. Your posters covered my bdrm walls! My Dad just shook his head! Lol! So many great memories with friends, your music playing, your 8 track in the cars! So much talent Peter! Thank you for always remaining respectful, keeping your integrity through the years.
I dug peter too and even had his posters on the wall. One poster which was one of those huge ones that had other pictures around a bigger picture in the middle. I had a Kiss one too. Well this poster has shown peter standing there, arms crossed and shirtless. You might remember seeing it at one time...I got a lot of flack from my parents because they didn't want their son to have a poster of a half naked man up on his bedroom wall. lol. But I convinced them that wasn't the case.
@bobsebrin... Are you lori hillyard's best friend?
@@jeffpelkey6077 no I just liked looking at his guitars especially his Gibson Black Beauty. it was inspirational as a kid trying to play the guitar
@@jeffpelkey6077 you enjoy responding to other’s comments on here? At least spell our names correctly! So what if we are friends???
@@bobsebring2819It's ok. I has a shirtless poster of Bruce Lee in my bedroom. Lol.
All these years later and it's still one of the most incredible things I've ever heard.
I never tire of listening to you Peter. Your music is a fabric of my youth, happy memories. Thanks for your artistry.
I never see him on any lists of greatest guitar players. This man was an icon of the 70’s.
Agree. He is one of the greatest guitar players. In the 70’s, he was right up there with other top players. 🤘🏽🎸
Soy chilenno ya eres mi maximo idolo
It just shows that those lists means nothing
never mind the humble pie stuff either all of he does is golden
Peter thanks for the Talkbox explanation, I loved that effect back in the 1970's. Keep going pal!
One of my favorite guitar players. A style all his own. Great singer too!
Thank you Mr. Frampton! Love legends that share their tricks and enjoy doing it as much as you do.
An unbelievable guitarist 👍🏻
I know people get sick of the word _underrated,_ but compared to some of his peers at least, I think he is. His performance on _Can't Take That Away_ from his Live in Detroit DVD is astounding. I personally prefer his playing to Clapton's.
Peter, I've seen you perform live at least 4 times. You never disappoint. You are amazing! I am happy to see you are on the road to recovery. Thanks for all the joy I've received from your music from the 70s to now!🎉❤
Frampton comes alive 1976 . Enough said. 🤟🍺✌️
I love that record❤
From the iconic cover to the epic songs, it's a masterpiece. Sorry, I guess I added to your "enough said."
Was just listening to that as I saw this video
It came in the mail, with samples of tide lol
bland AOR
Peter Frampton is a bad ass !
I attended the Frampton Comes Alive Tour..Epic..Thanks for ALL you've given us Peter..Rock On!!
Legendary guitarist/ singer/ songwriter 🎸🔥🎤🎶😎🤗❤️
Yeah two big hits
He didn;t invent it...but he put his stamp on it though!. Peter Frampton is Awesome!!!
Yes, he did in Rock, while Roger Troutman of Zapp placed his mark on it in R&B.
@@seanswinton6242 Pete Drake was the original pioneer. Peter acknowledges his influence
Yes, I think I first heard the "Talk Box" in Rocky Mountain Way by Joe Walsh.. There is another classic that used it but I can't think of it.
Under appreciated musician. Great guy!
Only by the new generation.. no offense, don't shoehorn us into nonsense
Always knew and had loved Hendrix, Beatles/LZ, BBKing/Benson but haven't heard him until my forties. He is really one of the greatest. His phrasing is terrific
Keep playing Peter!!! We are all proud of you never stop 👍
Frampton Comes Alive was the album playing at every high school party I went to my senior year.
Great memories 🎸
His notoriety & popularity came from a massive live LP back in the 70s! Which is a unique way for a musician to gain fame! And its so cool that Frampton is still at it!
No sh*t Sherlock
Very cool, indeed! 😅 🎶💙🎶
Im going to go listen to some Peter Frampton now ❤
Music Icon with a unique style
As cool today as it was in the 70s! I still remember seeing him in '75 and '76 at the Palm Beach Civic Center. Gary Wright opened and was very good too
That’s awesome 🎸👍🏼
Lucky man!
He had a little known love song called I’m in you”. I love this song. This song sings to the love that I have for a man. I listen to this song a lot.
Great song!
Hmm, I think I might know that one!😉
Little? It was tge first single released after Comes Alive! Hardly "little."
Famous enough for a Zappa parody( I Have Been In You)
@@geraldfriend256I was JUST thinking the same thing.
"And while... I was inside... I might have been... undignified..."
Peter Frampton was underrated!!!!! I loved him in Humble Pie and saw all his solo performances at Madison Square Garden; all ten of his shows at MSG❤❤❤
Agree!!
6th best selling live albumn in America, ever , but he's underrated......
@@dontmakemelaugh01He's underrated compared to some of his peers and some newer blues players. How often to you hear Frampton's name when people talk about Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bonamassa, Mayer, etc.? Yet he belongs in those conversations. Aside from being technically great, he's got a distinct style - more jazz-tinged than a lot of blues players.
Dude, you f-ing rock
Peter is a very English , humble gentleman.
That's coz he was in Humble Pie.😊
Love ya BROTHER! You are a GUITAR HERO! A living LEGEND! What a TRIP you took us on! Thanks a MILLION PETER! 💥👍💪👊💥
How cool! Peter is an absolute legend👍👍
PF should be considered a real Guitar Virtuoso......and he is a Master Showman as well.
Gracious,and Classy Guy as well.
I play his Classic Live Album Everytime I get involved in my Garage or Kitchen for lengthy periods.......it just keeps everything moving along, with much joy! Thank you Peter!
"DA TUBE, PETE! PLAY DA TUBE!" killed me. I wasn't ready for the eloquent Brit to bust out in Jersey dude
Love this guy. He still plays great, and with enthusiasm for days.
His North Jersey/NYC/Long Island accent is on point. I’m sure Bruce and Billy agree.
This guy is a legend with the group the herd from the 1960s
Who....?
@@tomg1066 no that was Pete Townsend
“Frampton Comes Alive”. If you are under 40, do yourself a big favor and download the album. It is considered by many to be the single best live rock album of all time. You can thank me later.
I am 34 and grew up on this album.
"Show me the way"😎
I had it on 8 track
I'm 35 and have it on vinyl, no need for your ignorance.
forget everything he did B4 or after that ,made a deal withe devil
I always felt Peter didn't get proper credit for his amazing playing
Totally agree.
But, didn't he? He was huge on the radio, album sales, etc. I kinda think he got as much recognition as he warranted.
Nice fan service, Mr. Frampton.
That was awesome!
Jerry Cantrell uses one too for Man in the Box
Oh snap really? I can hear it now. Dang never knew this.
He’s such a legend, Peter played something incredibly music in San Francisco in the 70’s and at the Oakland Coliseum at the D. O.G. Concert
I always wondered about this!!! Thank you for the tutorial Mr Frampton!
Kids in the audience lost their minds when you hit that talk box, you made music come alive. Best ever
This Talk Box demo is great. God knows I'm not a techie, I can barely tweet, but this was fun and understandable. Thx, Peter. 💙🎶💙
Iconic. Mr. Frampton and the Talk Box.
Takes me back to a younger day,,,,,,
Almost 50 years, and I'm still amazed!
Saw him play his “Frampton comes Alive” album in its entirety live at Pechanga resort in Temecula CA. Great show!!
Ele fez parte da minha adolescência. Muito simpático. Saudades.❤❤❤
My favorite song is "Lines On My Face".
He was the coolest dude in the late 70s.
Mad respect for that guy’s one of a kind guitar sound.
“That’s alright. That’s alright.” Indeed. Such a brilliant live album.
Frampton Comes Alive one of the best live albums ever. Stands tall with Foghat Live , Cheap Trick Live at Budakan , Kiss Alive.
Totally agree! I think those albums being heard on vinyl through a turntable did a great job of making you feel like you were at the concert.
Live at Leeds by The Who!!
Easily the greatest live album of all time.
Thank you for SHOWing us THE WAY!
So freakin awesome you're doing these videos! Thank you so much for sharing! I know what a talk box even is because of you! I'll never forget hearing "do you feel" when I was a kid
Mr Frampton is ranked 100th best guitarist of all time. I think who ever did this ranking needs their head checked. Take a zero away and then we'll talk
Agree
Gimmick...but he does it better than anybody ever... Classic
I was looking for this explanation for a long time! Thank you, Peter!
I mean who else is more qualified to give a tutorial on the Framptone Talk Box than Mr. Frampton himself?🤘🤘
All I see is "do you feel....do you feel like...... do you FEEL?"
While an inflatable pig gets fired at homer.
WOW..Peter himself explaining how he pulld this off back in the day..PETER FRAMPTON ✌️
Such a great musician!!!
Agree!
Frampton is still alive!!!!
Haven’t loss your touch❤️❤️
He shows how it works. Listen to him play it live on stage and its a whole other world.
Really cool Pete! Thanks for the memories, hearing this device in "show me the way" every time I went to the arcade in 1976
Love his Humble Pie years too! Great music
Can't take that away.......Do you fell like we do....St. Thomas.....i listen every Day this songs. From Brazil, whit love.
One of my favourite songs.
Can’t get over how he’s never lost his accent.
I LOVE PETER FRAMPTON!!❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯
Love you Peter. I often watch your Midnight Special performances. You sounded so awesome, and your expressions and cute smile knocked me out. Alright, alright, alright 😊
One of the best guitar players ever so creative using the talk box!!
He ruled the 70s..l remember hearing this all the time as a kid/young teen..of course literally everywhere you went a radio was on back then... probably sitting on the table with a knob you would look for stations. 😊
Love you brother. Always good to see you, sincerely,
Your Family of Friends 😎
Frampton is a BEAST on guitar. The word “underrated” is overrated, but he is underrated.
Iconic Sound i seen him live back then when comes Alive came out the whole stadium was Lit when he played Feel like we do' Iconic..
Wow! Thanks for explaining!
I was 15 yrs old in 1976 and Frampton Comes Alive was one of my first 8 tracks He had beautiful hair. 😊💖😊

Seen him 6 times live. Best live ever.
I'm in my late fifties and have been ignorant to how that worked the whole time.
Thank you for explaining it to me.
What a joy to see you in a video, especially when it comes to this talk box... the sound is wonderful
Things ive always wanted to know. Thanks!

That’s pretty cool to have Peter Frampton explain the talk box.
I remember being 16 and hanging out in the Pizza Inn parking lot listening to Do You Feel Like We Do.
Great memories!
