I haven't seen Legion of Superheroes yet, however one villain I think was sorely underutilised in the Tomorrowverse was Sinestro as his character and story arc in the comics are incredibly interesting and could've made him a fascinating villain to explore in this universes Green Lantern film, unfortunately the film really undercus his character in favour of telling a poor adaptation of Emerald Twlight story that simultaneously reduced Hal's character, Sinestro's character, and the Sinestro Corps as forgettable villains with limited development. Victor Garber's Sinestro from Green Lantern: First Flight (2009) still remains my favourite take on the character, outside the comics and truly delivered a very striking and intimidating delivery, fleshing out his motivation.
I couldn’t stand what they did to Hal, Personally I always hated Emerald Twilight as it’s an example of DC editorial being lazy and changing a character to shift their purpose, Sinestro was underutilized and killing him off so soon was such a dumb move, they could have built up to the Legion of Doom with Lex Luthor,Scarecrow,Cheetah,Gorilla Grodd(or Captain Cold),Sinestro, Malef’aek and Count Vertigo!
Loved the character and art style, but the verse is feeling a bit rushed with introducing characters between movies and killing off characters that had more potential
If they are going to use evil Hal and have Parallax it shouldn't be a damn John Stewart movie! Not once has Kyle appeared on screen the only one besides Simon (Who was gonna be used in the show before they scrapped it and no plans for Kyle) KYLE DESERVES JUSTICE
@@natorukakinuma2616 yeah. Besides Superman the Animated Series a mention in Jl and a small cameo and a larger role in JLU for an episode we haven't seen him in anything at least I think, eventually he probably would have showed in GLTAS but that got canceled so guess not
i think the reason they didn’t use kyle is because kyle’s origin is normally directly tied to hal turning evil and they might have been trying to surprise us with the parallax twist. that’s just my thoughts tho, i do hope they bring kyle into the tomorrowverse asap, because he’s such a good character.
@@avalectoAnd what gives u the idea they did hal right in anyway in comics evil hal retcon hal still has tragic fall but here they was like hal is evil boom.
Yes, man. The level as it was from the movie Green Lantern: Beware My Power, was an absurd level and continued in the last recent movie of the Tommorowverse: Legion of Superheroes turning Mon-El into a villain and the worst he is a type Nazi. This universe STARTED IN 2020 AND WE ARE ALREADY IN 2023
I honestly feel as if the Tomorrowverse started out good, and quickly went downhill. I think only Man of Tomorrow, Justice Society, and Long Halloween is the only good one.
REMBER, THE TOMMORRVERSE IS NOT THE DCAMU, SINCE THAT UNIVERSE WAS DESTROYED, HOWEVER, THERE'S A THEORY THAT THE OLD MAN WHO JOHN STEWART SAVES IS CONSTANTINE REINCARNATED, SINCE HE LOOKS SIMIMAR & IS VOICED BY AN "UNKOWN" VOICE ACTOR WHO SOUNDS PRETTY SIMILAR TO MATT RYAN
Still haven’t heard anything about Young Justice. Is the show finished? Is it over for good? The cliffhanger ending still has me hooked but I’m losing hope.
I gotta watch the Legion of Superheroes movie again. Mon-El as a villain just doesnt sit right with me. They always seem to mess it up when they actually do include him. On the Legion cartoon he was passed over for "Superman X", and on the live action Supergirl series...they made him and Supergirl romantic with each other which really doesnt work. He's actually a very interesting member of the Superman Family with a really cool origin story.
What they did to Hal was disappointing but I doubt it was done to "make John look good". Hal actually did die in the comics for a while after getting possessed by Parallax. Also, I think the Tomorrowverse line of animated movies might be working up to CRISIS which was announced a while back but that was before James Gunn took over so who knows if its still being made.
here's a idea for a video series. Origin of every character soyny owns (in order of appearance) each video could go through maybe 5 to 10 yrs at a time. There's is a contract with a long list of characters but that's not all of them, thats just every character up to 2012 and its in "alpha"betical order. Every spider-man character would essentially be every character that first appeared in a spider-man or Spider-woman comic, excluding Punisher, Cloak and dagger, and Monica Rambeau for some fcked reason. Also it does include any spin off titles such as Venom, morbius, Vampire tales, Osborn, red Goblin, silk, Slingers and many many more. I think doc ock had a book once maybe. This would also include any spider-man or spider-man related novels and graphic novels. This would require some heavy research which is why I'm asking you😅 Also this list of Spider titles on Wikipedia and Fandom are 100% wrong Like I said there are many many many maaanny more There's at least 1000 probably 2 so this would be a veeerrryy long series. Probably a lot less if you only do heroes and villains cuz there are a lot of those plus things like spies and gangsters, etc. Those are really all the characters I'm talking about but itd still be good idea to go threw every single 1 to 2 thousand characters
They announced a two part animated CRISIS film a while ago, but I believe that was before DC changed hands to James Gunn, so theres no telling if that project is still moving forward.
1:46 - Mon-El is NOT a villian in the "actualverse" of comics, only on TV. What a lame-ass attempt at writing making one of the greatest Legion heroes into a villian. The "Arrowverse" has FOREVER ruined certain lores.... :( nuff said?
Constantine House of Mystery is also part of Tomorrowverse. It is after Darkseid Apocalypse Saga.
He has that here, did you not watch the video??
Actually its the reset. When Barry ran back that second time he created the TomorrowVerse.
@@jakebritton9709 nope, Constantine stuck in his house of mystery which exists between New 52 and Tomorrowverse.
So Constantine still remembers....
Its basically the bridge between the 2
The Tomorrowverse has really strong continuity. Much better than most connected universes

Green Lantern First Flight is better than Green Lantern Beware My Power.
@@gundanout11 100% Agree. Sinestro in that film is excellent

We really want Hal Jordan to return just like in Comics.

He will eventually turn into a hero. It will take a process. It's called redemption.
Tf are you talking about
Hopefully they'll use the dark multiverse for the tomorrowverse
Honestly didn't even realize they started a new movie universe. I thought the Long Halloween movies were just one off adaptations of the comic story.
I wonder if a set of (TOMORROW-VERSE) animated shows might be in the works of getting made?
I honestly feel as if the Tomorrowverse started out good, and quickly went downhill. I think only Man of Tomorrow, Justice Society, and Long Halloween is the only good one.
Nah legion of superheroes is really good. The mon El thing was stupid but other than that and even with that change it's really good.

Yeah unfortunately it got canceled again
Sofia Falcone didn't die I'm pretty sure. She gets crippled. She does in the comic.

What's the timeline of the DCAMU and the Tomorrowverse?
I hate they made mon-el a villain
Me too. I'd have hoped they would've solidified his place in the Superman family than do something like make him a villain.
And Hal Jordan as well, all to make John Stewart look good.
What they did to Hal was disappointing but I doubt it was done to "make John look good". Hal actually did die in the comics for a while after getting possessed by Parallax.
