  • A walkthrough of the popular Japanese goods store, Daiso, where almost everything is a $1.50. This particular store is located in Ft. Worth, TX and I filmed it back in April when all of their Easter merchandise was on display. The Daiso featured in the thumbnail for this video is not the Ft. Worth location as I neglected to take a photo of the exterior of that store.
    ** Update 8/23/19: I failed to mention that there are two locations in Hawaii! My apologies! **
    ** Update 8/23/19: As soon as I posted this video, Daiso USA announced that there will be a new store opening in NY! It’s only a matter of time before we have these amazing shops all across the US! Fingers crossed! 😍 **

    I totally get it that you would drive two days. I got hooked when I was in Seattle and I heard they carried origami paper. We went to every store in Washington before getting back on a plane to Minnesota and it wasn't with just a suitcase full of paper. Then a year later when on vacation in Palm Spring we decided what the heck San Diego has Daiso. It was the highlight of the trip for me. I'm told San Francisco is a nice vacation destination. I wonder...

      I’m glad I’m not the only one! I’ve actually really been wanting to visit San Francisco, mostly to visit Japantown, but also Daiso, of course! 😊

    When I get the chance to come back down there I'm going there to shop. I live in southern Oklahoma. Thank you for getting back with me.

      Seriously I'm really ticked off I got sick because I was going down to see family. Then go to my friends for clearance shopping as well as to specifically go here. They need to put one in Tulsa. Or at least OKC. I'm already going there for dental. This could be a plus.

    Thank you so much for this thorough walkthrough. I can't wait to go. Considering how long I'm known to spend at Dollar Tree my friend may never get me out.

    Thank you so much !! We don’t have one where I live, so when my family goes to Fort Worth, I want to stop by! I always look at videos of this place, and wondered what it would look like if I ever do go. Thank you so much, I love this video ! :) ♥️

    I was just in Fort Worth but didn't get to go inside. I hung out at the other stores nearby, 10x10 and Artbox, until it was time to go.

      @vixieann  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! The address is: 8967 Tehama Ridge Pkwy in Ft Worth. It’s a really nice store!

    Wow. I love how much variety and options there are for everything but also. DAMN. That's a lot of products.....how and why would anyone shop anywhere else if these products work well? My fiance would have to quite literally drag me out of this store by my ankles. I'd take a whole week off work just to explore one diaso.

    It’s funny because it sounds like how to say “we have everything” in Korea. Well mostly from certain countryside dialect will say it that way

    Wait question here so when you are checking out do you have to buy the plastic bags to put your stuff in

    • @vixieann
      @vixieann  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No you don’t have to buy them, at least not in Texas. If you mean the reusable totes however, I did buy them, but they are not required, they’ll pack your stuff in normal plastic bags. 😊

    Bro um....u know that Disney came from America right? Why would you be surprised to find Disney merchandise there’s at least over 10 Disney items in every single store in America u know this right?...Disney didn’t come from Japan....

    • @vixieann
      @vixieann  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s more the fact that there are Disney products there for $1.50. You hardly see Disney items at a normal dollar store, at least not quality products like the ones you can find at Daiso.

    • @jendubay3782
      @jendubay3782 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Japan has different merchandise than America does. Look at the Disney teddy bears as an example. They also do different styles, and color palettes than the American merchandise does. Disney is more of an adult brand there
