The 1960s Prim is so beautiful! It would be so awesome if the previous owner of this vinyl would actually see and comment on this video! What happened at 10:45, did you hear something? The Beatles is one of those bands that I've known for years, but I can't actually name the exact time when I first heard them. Maybe I first heard them on the "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", who knows. Out of the songs on this particular compilation album, my favorites are "I Saw Her Standing There" and "Twist & Shout". I like all the songs you mentioned. I also like "Helter Skelter", "Because", "Rock and Roll Music", "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party", "Help", "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away", "Ticket to Ride", "Act Naturally", "I've Just Seen a Face", "Across the Universe ", "The Long and Winding Road", "Strawberry Fields Forever", "Love You To", "She's Leaving Home" etc. My number one favorite Beatles song is "I Want You (She's So Heavy)". I like how different it is compared to the other songs they've done. The slow heavy sound, the sudden time signature changes, and the transcending monotonous ending that takes you places. I wish they had done more stuff like that. I went through the entire Beatles discography because of this video! For years I only knew a few songs by them. I listened to the first 5 Beatles albums in a row, it wasn't hard because albums from that era are only half an hour long, or sometimes even less. Nowadays we have albums that are an hour and a half long. The early Beatles albums are pretty good, but to me their musical importance actually begins in 1966. I like their experimental late 1960s music the most, "Abbey Road" is probably my favorite album by them. They probably created psychedelic rock and progressive rock, or at least they were the first to have that kind of elements in their music. I like music from the 1950s and 1960s, but in my opinion the best music was released from late 1960s to early 1990s. I'd say that 1970s and 1980s are the absolute peak in the history of music. I mean in the modern history, of course you can't forget classical music composers like Mozart and Beethoven. As it turns out, today is the day of long comments.
You would have loved that era Prim. I was a young fella in London and there were two types of music for me the Beatles and not the Beatles. Some off the mainstream songs to look for are: "Bulldog", great bass and featuring George Harrison's new (at the time ) set up " I've got a feeling" from the let it be album, insane string bending "I feel fine", first ever feedback featured in a song. Then of course there was "revolution" the flip side to "hey Jude". Many people returned there singles because they thought there was something wrong with them due to the distortion. The Beatles were the innovators of the day and many things you hear in music now were introduced by them.

Haha, I'm 14 and I LOVE the Beatles. I hate the new stuff the other kids from my generation listen to... I love classical music , heavy metal, rock and so on...
My favorite Beatles song has always been Penny Lane, and even more so these days as it makes me think of a dear friend. I listened to it a lot when she moved to England last year. On an unrelated note, any time I hear someone say the word everybody, in my mind I hear, "Hello there, everybuddy". :-)
I like this album series you are doing. Being a Beatles fan, I like the particular album you chose for this video. You did a very good job relaxing me speaking in a very soft tone of voice. May I add that you have excellent taste in music.
Nice find lil lady! What a classic.... You as well! "A Day in the Life" would have to be one of my top faves of many.... So many. The whole medley at the end if Sgt. Pepper's is just absolutely brilliant. Revolver is probably my favorite album by them, though.
You did well to come up with a small list of favourites :) I'm still working on it. But all of the songs you mentioned are definately in my top 10. Let it be would be number 1 just because of how it fits with a time in my life.
Prim ASMR I just finished the video..i couldn't help but laugh at you getting the sleeve back in 😃 they can be oh so tricky! Tingles overload with that part too!
great vid Prim! I'm looking forward to some classic Blondie next week. The outer cardboard cover you refer to is actually called the "album jacket" by collectors. The inner paper sleeve is often featureless but I too love when there are liner notes and photos included within. Keep this series going, I always look forward to it every week!
+John Baker Those are great too. But I find the drums on Tomorrow Never Knows even more interesting because of the powerful, driving and progressive sound of rhythm he plays here. It's sounds very ahead of it's time.
My faaaaaaaaavourite band of all time, followed by The Doors. It's hard to say what my favourite song of theirs is, but gun to my head, I would have to say "Here Comes The Sun" or "A Day In The Life". Maybe "Strawberry Fields Forever".
Another magnificent album video, Prim! As always, I loved the tapping & rubbing sounds as well the sleeve sounds and listening to you softly talk about the album. There's really no going wrong with these album videos, they're just a supremely relaxing watch! Thank you for another thoroughly enjoyable ASMR experience! 😊 I've liked The Beatles since I was a kid. They were decades before my time, but are such a timeless band! The Beatles recorded so many great songs, my favorites include: "Love Me Do", "From Me to You", "Twist and Shout", "She Loves You", "All My Loving", "I Want to Hold Your Hand", "A Hard Day's Night", "Can't Buy Me Love", "Eight Days a Week", "Help!", "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away", "Ticket to Ride", "Yesterday", "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)", "Nowhere Man", "Michelle", "In My Life", "Drive My Car", "We Can Work It Out", "Paperback Writer", "Eleanor Rigby", "Yellow Submarine", "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", "With a Little Help from My Friends", "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", "Getting Better", "A Day in the Life", "Magical Mystery Tour", "The Fool on the Hill", "Blue Jay Way", "Your Mother Should Know", "I Am the Walrus", "Hello, Goodbye", "Strawberry Fields Forever", "Penny Lane", "Baby, You're a Rich Man", "All You Need Is Love", "Lady Madonna", "Hey Jude", "Back in the U.S.S.R.", "Dear Prudence", "Glass Onion", "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da", "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Happiness Is a Warm Gun", "Martha My Dear", "I'm So Tired", "Blackbird", "Rocky Raccoon", "Don't Pass Me By", "Why Don't We Do It in the Road?", "Birthday", "Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey", "Sexy Sadie", "Helter Skelter", "Cry Baby Cry", "Come Together", "Octopus's Garden", "Here Comes the Sun", "Dig a Pony", "Across the Universe", "I Me Mine", "Let It Be", "The Long and Winding Road", "Get Back", "Free as a Bird" & "Real Love". Yeah, I know that's a whole lotta songs, lol. Sorry for my long-windedness once again. If I had to pick just one favorite Beatles song, it'd be hard, but I guess I'd probably go with "Sexy Sadie" from 'The White Album'. 👍 Up next week, Blondie's "Parallel Lines'. Another great one! I was just listening to "Heart of Glass" the other day. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. I hope you have a nice Monday night and wonderful first week of July! Take care, Prim. 😃
Joey!!! This was awesome! Reading your list of favorite songs was very interesting and I hadn’t heard of some of them in quite a while! Such as “dig a pony, free as a bird, rocky raccoon, octopus’s garden and a few others! Very lovely choices for your favorites! Thank you for sharing those with me, and reminding me of some songs by The Beatles that I hadn’t listened to in a while. 😎 And I was listening to Heart of Glass the other day, as well! How cool! I think you’re going to enjoy the next few episodes I have planned for this series. 🤩 As always, I love your comments and it’s always a pleasure hearing your thoughts! I hope you’re having a wonderful night! 🎼🎊🎼🎊🎼 P.S, not sure if you read descriptions or not but I had put a link of “Twist and Shout” that the Mamas and Papas did! It’s very soft and has a different feel to it than the faster pace one that the Beatles did😄 I like it very much and wondered if you had heard it before?
Thank you for the lovely reply, Prim!! 😊 I'm certainly glad to hear that you enjoyed reading my list of favorite Beatles songs and that I reminded you of some you'd not heard in awhile. 😃 Oh yes, I've definitely heard the version of "Twist and Shout" by The Mamas & the Papas. I own their greatest hits CD and it's on there. You're absolutely right, their version is soft and has a different feel to it than the version by The Beatles. At that, it almost sounds like an entirely different song. It's certainly a unique & intriguing cover, and a very good one too. 👍
I'm into their "rocky-est" (is that even a word? LOL) sound. Don't Let Me Down, Hell Bulldog, I Want You (She Is So Heavy,) Back To The USSR, Come Together, Oh Darling, Revolution, Long Long Long, I've Got A Feeling etc. Nice to see The Beatles are still heavily admired.
I love The Beatles. Some of my favorite songs are Hey Jude, Strawberry Fields Forever, Yesterday, Let It Be, Here Comes the Sun, Penny Lane, Eleanor Rigby, and While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Do you own a record by The Rolling Stones? If so, can you do a video showing it? Thanks.
I love almost everything of their work, though I don't have the same ear for their early songs - that I appreciate for their joy, their vocal harmonies, the revolution they brought in the sound and rythm ( they always were revolutionary somehow ) - than for the more instrumentally built ones of the second part of their career. I adore the same songs as you Prim, and also I love a lot I Me Mine, Across The Universe, I've Got a Feeling, Sexie Sadie, Golden Slumbers, and so many other ones ... I wish I could kiss PMC's feet before he disappears so much I admire him and his work ( he also defends animal cause and veganism ... ).
btw my fav songs by the beatles are please please me, hold me tight, i'll be back, no reply, you've got to hide your love away, wait, tomorrow never knows, she's leaving home, baby you're a rich man, back in the ussr, golden slumbers and one after 909.
Great video! I found it very relaxing. Two comments... It's been a long while since I had vinyl, but... putting the sleeve back into the cardboard cover the way you ultimately did it was handy for taking the record out again because the opening for the sleeve and cover are oriented the same way. With that orientation, you could just pull the record out without first removing the inner sleeve. (I'm guessing that this isn't the way that purists would do it though.) Also, one problem with this approach is that the record could sometimes sort of roll out of the sleeve & jacket if you weren't careful. If I wasn't going to use it for a good while, I'd often try to orient the sleeve with the opening upwards so that it wouldn't fall or roll out when taking it out on it's next use. I don't claim to be an expert on this stuff - that's just what I did. I had that Blondie album way back when I was in high school. It was one of my favorites!
I would be interested to know which Beatles album is your favorite and why. They were so great that any one of their albums could be considered a favorite. My favorite is Rubber Soul. In my opinion this album captures the peak of the groove in their songs, offering a perfect blend of pop, rock, and folk. I have read that Rubber Soul was George Harrison's personal favorite.
Without that sticker on the record label this album may have been worth $75-$200 based on sleeve condition and record condition. This is what's known as a Version 2 of this album. The Version 1's have PS I Love You to end side one, and Love Me Do to begin side two. Of special notice, this is the most bootlegged album ever, with 1.2 million authentic copies and upwards of 2 million fakes.
Although I suck at dancing I will say twist and shout is something that anyone should be able to dance to cuz it doesn’t really matter how well your body moves to the music! Ferris Buellers Day Off is one of my favorite movies cuz of that scene. When I want to listen to that song I watch the Ferris buellers version instead of the Beatles version cuz it is that good! Anyhoo! The sounds were “beautiful” as you like to say! And I like the visual hand movements at the very end! Have a good night Prim! Try to get you own ASMR time in!
I noticed in your channel your very lovely musical taste, although you are quite young. It proves the talent and quality of oldies goldies. "I wanna hold your hand". You are quite pretty girl. Gonna send you via pm many more artists and music groups I guess you might love as well.
This is a wonderful video, Prim! I was thinking, that album can't be an original copy of their first full-length album, or it would be worth a ton of money! It looks like an original though, but I don't think the thrift store would have sold it so cheaply if it was. I really like "We Can Work It Out" and "Twist and Shout" too, especially their version of the latter. I didn't know that the Mamas and Papas did a slow version of it; what a strange song to slow down! I'll tell you though, I love the Mamas and the Papas slow version of "I Call Your Name" which is another Beatles song. It's really beautiful. Other favorite songs of the Beatles for me are "This Boy", "I'll Get You", "Help", "Ticket to Ride", "You're Going to Lose that Girl", and most of the "Rubber Soul" album. There are others, but I can't think of them right now. I'm not a big fan of their later albums, but I do like "Hey Jude". I also love the sounds that the record wrappers make! I'm pretty excited that you are doing a Blondie album next, as I like a lot of their songs. I'm pretty sure that the album you are going to show us is my favorite one of theirs. I'm also hoping you might have some albums by easy-listening singers, like Jerry Vale, or '50's and '60's favorites like Bobby Darin, Neil Sedaka, Connie Francis, Linda Scott, Bobby Rydell, etc, cause that's my favorite type of music. Also, rock and roll legends like Buddy Holly, Fats Domino, Chuck Berry and the like are always great too. I really love the pre-British invasion stuff, but as you can see, I do like a few later artists, like Blondie and the Bangles. In any case, thanks for another great video!
Hey there Tom! & That’s a really good point, I will have to look into this more and see if this album is worth any big bucks lol It would awesome if it was! And AWESOME top favorites, by the way! 🎼🎼🎼🎼 & Ooo Yes, the sounds that the sleeves make are absolutely incredible! I’m happy to know you enjoy them as much as I do. I’m very excited for next weeks episode. I think you’re going to like it. Also, I’m excited to share the week after nexts video. You’ll see a sneak peek to it at the end of the Blondie episode! 🤩 & yes! I have a wide variety of albums of all different types of music, still to come! I know this first season was mainly focused on Rock n Roll, but I still hope you enjoyed them! I have some surprises for season two, which will start on October 1st! (I will talk about this more in a future video!) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ As always, so nice to hear your thoughts! I hope you have a nice day! 🙂
I'm very excited for these things coming up, which you have alluded to! It sounds like it's going to be fun! I can't even imagine what surprises you have in store, Prim!
England’s no. 1 vocal group? More like the world’s Btw my favourite Beatles songs have got to be the long and winding road, Eleanor Rigby, something, in my life, let it be and back in the u.s.s.r.
Paul McCartney is a joke. All he cares about is how much money he can make. He never forgave MJ for buying the rights to his songs away. That was petty.
Bro shut up, if you don't have anything good or interesting to say don't say anything at all. No one cares, btw change that profile it will do you wonders.
I love the Beatles but it strange how the Beatles are apart of asmr My fave song is please please me and strawberry Fields forever girl nowhere man and Micheal. Now I mean I could go on and on about songs I love
btw some of my fave Beatles songs are She Said She Said, Hey Bulldog, Savoy Truffle, I'm really into their more psychedelic stuff :D
Yeah I also like that side of them. I also really like:

They made many cool tracks.

Lotta double-ups in the section beginning with "The"
My favourite songs are Nowhere Man, A Day in the Life, I Want You and I Feel Fine
It's nice to see a young girl that's into the Beatles.
I love them so much and I have a poster of them on my bedroom wall
dweeb123 4 i was obsessed with them when i was 8 or 9 and i’m 14 now and still loveeeeee them lol
Haha, I'm 14 and I LOVE the Beatles. I hate the new stuff the other kids from my generation listen to... I love classical music , heavy metal, rock and so on...
@@juicy.jay321 I just bought a biography of Paul McCartney with 900 pages!😂😂🥰
F. St. NICE !
Way cool record. Very rare.
I’m so happy to hear that!! Thank you so much for being so kind! 🤩
My favorite Beatles song is “and I love her”. Another great video Prim. Soooo many tingles. Thank you! 😃👍👍
My favorite Beatles songs are Hey Jude, Let It Be, Revolution, and Helter Skelter.
Yess! Awesome favorites!
Nice find lil lady! What a classic.... You as well!
"A Day in the Life" would have to be one of my top faves of many.... So many.
The whole medley at the end if Sgt. Pepper's is just absolutely brilliant.
Revolver is probably my favorite album by them, though.
Amazing video Prim! I love the Beatles! Very relaxing and enjoyable video. Thanks so much for posting! :-)
I loveeee Hey Jude and Yesterday, there’s so many though xo
Thank you for liking my comment 💕 I would love to see more Beatles related videos in the future 💕💕
You did well to come up with a small list of favourites :) I'm still working on it. But all of the songs you mentioned are definately in my top 10. Let it be would be number 1 just because of how it fits with a time in my life.
Thank you! 😃
& Yes I love that song!!
It warms my heart someone as young as you have such a good taste in music ♡
My favorite is _Tomorrow Never Knows_ , a masterpiece of analog art. I like _Rocky Raccoon_ too . Carry on with your groovy self 😃
Agreed, Tomorrow Never Knows arguable has also got the best drums of any Beatles song.
MacXpert74 ticket to ride or rain best drums
+John Baker Those are great too. But I find the drums on Tomorrow Never Knows even more interesting because of the powerful, driving and progressive sound of rhythm he plays here. It's sounds very ahead of it's time.
I saw her standing there. My favourite song from the album.
My faaaaaaaaavourite band of all time, followed by The Doors. It's hard to say what my favourite song of theirs is, but gun to my head, I would have to say "Here Comes The Sun" or "A Day In The Life". Maybe "Strawberry Fields Forever".
That was lovely.🎸
Hey Prim, another legendary group in the collection👍. You're looking beautiful as always😍😘🙋.
Yay I love asmr and the beatles
Another magnificent album video, Prim! As always, I loved the tapping & rubbing sounds as well the sleeve sounds and listening to you softly talk about the album. There's really no going wrong with these album videos, they're just a supremely relaxing watch! Thank you for another thoroughly enjoyable ASMR experience! 😊
I've liked The Beatles since I was a kid. 👍
Up next week, Blondie's "Parallel Lines'.
And I was listening to Heart of Glass the other day, as well! How cool!
I think you’re going to enjoy the next few episodes I have planned for this series. 🤩
As always, I love your comments and it’s always a pleasure hearing your thoughts!
I hope you’re having a wonderful night!
🎼🎊🎼🎊🎼
P.S, not sure if you read descriptions or not but I had put a link of “Twist and Shout” that the Mamas and Papas did! It’s very soft and has a different feel to it than the faster pace one that the Beatles did😄
I like it very much and wondered if you had heard it before?
Thank you for the lovely reply, Prim!! 😊
I'm certainly glad to hear that you enjoyed reading my list of favorite Beatles songs and that I reminded you of some you'd not heard in awhile. 😃
Oh yes, I've definitely heard the version of "Twist and Shout" by The Mamas & the Papas. I own their greatest hits CD and it's on there. You're absolutely right, their version is soft and has a different feel to it than the version by The Beatles. At that, it almost sounds like an entirely different song. It's certainly a unique & intriguing cover, and a very good one too. 👍
My Beatles favorite is "Don't let me down".
Prim I love your album series! Hope that they last for a long time! Keep it up! Btw if you could do Elvis Presley that would be good too!
My grandfather worked with the Beatles so my entire childhood was just their music. Great video!
Wow that’s really cool! 🤩
& Thank you so much!
Thanks.
I can’t pick one favorite song, but my favorite album is Abby Road, but only if the songs are played in order. I could listen to that on repeat.
My favorite has gotta be “this boy” I mean Johns vocals are just :😍😍🔥😂
I love almost everything of their work, though I don't have the same ear for their early songs - that I appreciate for their joy, their vocal harmonies, the revolution they brought in the sound and rythm ( they always were revolutionary somehow ) - than for the more instrumentally built ones of the second part of their career. I adore the same songs as you Prim, and also I love a lot I Me Mine, Across The Universe, I've Got a Feeling, Sexie Sadie, Golden Slumbers, and so many other ones ... I wish I could kiss PMC's feet before he disappears so much I admire him and his work ( he also defends animal cause and veganism ... ).
I love Misery and I Saw Her Standing There.
Prim! So glad I found you! I predict you'll have MANY followers soon!
Anna, what a song!
btw my fav songs by the beatles are please please me, hold me tight, i'll be back, no reply, you've got to hide your love away, wait, tomorrow never knows, she's leaving home, baby you're a rich man, back in the ussr, golden slumbers and one after 909.
Can’t beat the Beatles
Don’t let me down, Helier Skelter, hey Jude. Let it be, savoy truffle, etc
I love twist and shout
Do you have any of The Smiths records?
So relaxing. Tnx prim ♥ ♥ ♥
Your hairrrr 🌟🌟🌟
do you want to know a secret is my favorite songggg 😍😍
Awesome 😍 You are my favourite asmrtist °w°
10:45 👻 of John &/or George?
I would be interested to know which Beatles album is your favorite and why. They were so great that any one of their albums could be considered a favorite. My favorite is Rubber Soul. In my opinion this album captures the peak of the groove in their songs, offering a perfect blend of pop, rock, and folk. I have read that Rubber Soul was George Harrison's personal favorite.
My favourite Beatles songs have got to be a Day in The Life, Hey Jude, Eleanor Rigby, Something and I am The Walrus. :)
Tomorrow never knows , it's all too much , mother natures son, dear prudence
I love all songs. I’m a huge Beatles fan. Do you have anything by Focus? I’m also a huge Focus fan
Queen queen queen
Not to be critical but you should always put the sleeve opening up so that the vinyl can't accidentally slide out.
💙💙💙
...legit all ur fav Beatles songs are mine as well...
I like your album series! If you had to choose your favorite album you own what would it be?
No jazz in the album series?
😍
Where did you find this LP? It's an incredible record album. You know good Music
Thank you! I found this one at my local thrift shop 😃
In England that album is just called Please Please Me instead. I wonder why America got different releases?
Connor Murray Probably because it was the first Beatles album released in the United States.
Trenton D it was the first one in the UK as well.
Awesome
Do you like the Beach Boys? Have you heard their Pet Sounds album? I’d really appreciate it if you did a video about that. 😃
Love The Beach Boys! 🤩 That’s one of the bands I’ve been keeping my eye out for lately!
Prim ASMR That’s awesome! They’re my favourite band ever! 👌👌👌
La amo
I see the Beatles I click 😂
Looking at the cover & thinking, "Beatles, before they...ahem...let their hair down." :-P
Do you have a record player too that you listen to all these on?
I noticed in your channel your very lovely musical taste, although you are quite young. It proves the talent and quality of oldies goldies.
"I wanna hold your hand".
You are quite pretty girl.
Gonna send you via pm many more artists and music groups I guess you might love as well.
Can you do a show for the White Album?
You’re my favorite ASMR artist.
"you got a new subscriber" 🙂
Nice 👍😂❤
& Ooo Yes, the sounds that the sleeves make are absolutely incredible! I’m happy to know you enjoy them as much as I do. I’m very excited for next weeks episode. I think you’re going to like it.
Also, I’m excited to share the week after nexts video. You’ll see a sneak peek to it at the end of the Blondie episode! 🤩
& yes! I have a wide variety of albums of all different types of music, still to come!
I know this first season was mainly focused on Rock n Roll, but I still hope you enjoyed them!
I have some surprises for season two, which will start on October 1st!
(I will talk about this more in a future video!) ⭐️⭐️⭐️
As always, so nice to hear your thoughts! I hope you have a nice day! 🙂
I'm very excited for these things coming up, which you have alluded to! It sounds like it's going to be fun! I can't even imagine what surprises you have in store, Prim!
It is definitely the re-release, because the original had Love Me Do and PS I Love You on it.
Play it! Quiet girl!
You are so pretty ^-^
My favorite song by The Beatles is - In My Life
England’s no. 1 vocal group? More like the world’s
Btw my favourite Beatles songs have got to be the long and winding road, Eleanor Rigby, something, in my life, let it be and back in the u.s.s.r.

The actual name of the song is "Anna (Go to.............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
The Beatles ware great after they got past the boy band phase.
Would love to have a wife someday who will do ASMR to me☺️
Paul McCartney is a joke. All he cares about is how much money he can make. He never forgave MJ for buying the rights to his songs away. That was petty.
Bro shut up, if you don't have anything good or interesting to say don't say anything at all. No one cares, btw change that profile it will do you wonders.
Lol for real? Gotta be good to be a girl.
Can You Do An ASMR Video The Last Of Us From The Video Game
I love the Beatles but it strange how the Beatles are apart of asmr
