As I was sick, there was this doctor who was treating me, he was like a friend to me, he would've helped me out of it all. Now he has died from covid. Time has passed but the musical piece is still there. Makes me think of it all...today.

This reminds me of Santa Cruz. It’s like a memory of being there where the colors were pastels and there was a clown behind glass with bright color balloons reds dark blues yellows and pinks. When I was a little boy this piece of music makes me cry. Now I'm 35 years old with a family and sons and always makes me cry like when I was more young than now.
After 15 years of living in California I decided to move back to my home state of Pennsylvania. It was a 2500 mile trip that I made by car with my girlfriend in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. We rarely stopped to eat and even staying at motels felt like a gamble, so we were exhausted, hungry, and pushed to our limits both mentally and physically. We tried to sleep at a rest stop but we had only gotten a couple hours of sleep before we woke up to the sound of heavy rain and thunder. We took off quickly to keep just ahead of a coming storm. It was about 5 or 6 AM and very foggy and gray. Through the thick fog a huge bridge materialized; the Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge that joins Missouri to Illinois. As soon as we started driving across that bridge this piece of music came on. All of the fear and exhaustion seemed to ebb away, if only for a moment, and we floated on the soft notes of a surreal moment that felt like a dream. And despite the terror of this dream, there is some comfort in thinking that maybe this is all just that -- a dream. But no matter what, I will always remember that moment when I hear this music.
I too left CA for my homeland, living a Disney Life in CA isn't all it's hyped up to be, my return to the Land of Enchantment brought me north, to my Now Home. forever high at a Mile High. Denver.

We knew the eviction notices weren't "a mistake" anymore when we received the notice from the sheriffs office to vacate. So we packed up the cars and drove to Texas. PA is also my home state, and though the drive isn't nearly as long, it's still a journey. Somewhere on highway 20, after crossing the Texas border, exhausted, feeling like we'd never reach our destination, this song comes on Pandora. A minute later we crest a small hill and see the sprawling lights of Fort Worth. Pennsylvania has some sights, but I've never seen the massive accomplishment of human engineering that is a modern city covering so much land without a single mountain range or forest in sight. It was breathtaking. this song KNOWS. This song LIVES. It is eerie and comforting at the same time

This is Vangelis' most touching, emotional, evocative or haunting piece, however you want to call it and possibly his most unappreciated work. It is from a French documentary about animals called 'L'Apocalypse des animaux' first aired in 1970.
When I was a kid, between the ages of about 4 - 6, I used to absoloutely love going to the planetarium (sort of a movie projection that you watched on the ceiling and it told you about space and the stars etc.) part of this museum I always went to. On every showing of the video, it always played this song whilst the planetarium was filling up, and I always loved it. I kind of just assumed it was a tune that the museum had made up to stick on the start of the projection, and never thought much else. Years later, I heard it used on the background of a scene in the movie "Millions", and I've been searching for it ever since. It's taken me probably about 6 years to eventually find it, and I found it today. It's so utterly beautiful, and I can't seem to find the words to even begin to fully describe the way it makes me feel. It almost hurts to listen to in a way, it feels overwhelming, like it's too much to handle all at once, and yet I can't stop listening.
It was used in the movie "Stranger Than Fiction (2006). The music is very poignant, brings tears to your eyes for the lives cut short and paths not taken. Though it is already quite close to the haunting sound of a music box, I would love to have one that played it

Впервые я услышал эту прекрасную мелодию в одном ролике про балующихся младенцев в 19 веке. И мне вспомнилось детство моей прабабушки: она мне часто рассказывала о себе. С тех пор я слушаю эту великую мелодию и думаю о своих ушедших предках и той их прекрасной жизни, ну и вообще обо всём добром и светлом. Спасибо большое Вангелису за это чудо!

This is Vangelis' most touching, emotional, evocative or haunting piece, however you want to call it and possibly his most unappreciated work. It is from a French documentary about animals called 'L'Apocalypse des animaux' first aired in 1970.

When I was a kid, between the ages of about 4 - 6, I used to absoloutely love going to the planetarium (sort of a movie projection that you watched on the ceiling and it told you about space and the stars etc.) part of this museum I always went to. On every showing of the video, it always played this song whilst the planetarium was filling up, and I always loved it. I kind of just assumed it was a tune that the museum had made up to stick on the start of the projection, and never thought much else. Years later, I heard it used on the background of a scene in the movie "Millions", and I've been searching for it ever since. It's taken me probably about 6 years to eventually find it, and I found it today. It's so utterly beautiful, and I can't seem to find the words to even begin to fully describe the way it makes me feel.
It almost hurts to listen to in a way, it feels overwhelming, like it's too much to handle all at once, and yet I can't stop listening.

It was used in the movie "Stranger Than Fiction (2006). The music is very poignant, brings tears to your eyes for the lives cut short and paths not taken. Though it is already quite close to the haunting sound of a music box, I would love to have one that played it

При прослушивании разрывается все внутри...Хочется забиться в угол и рыдать о том чего уже не вернуть, хочется ценить каждый момент жизни...
Надеюсь, что посёлок (люди,в первую очередь!) всё же не умерли!
