What a salient, potent distinction between "entertaining" and "hospitality". I must confess that we are a shoes off household, and while guests always oblige our request to remove shoes, I can sometimes sense that it is off-putting to some. I will be praying about serving others in our home more (hospitality) and abolishing our "shoes off" policy for guests.
