The big black boxes that you cut the cords off. Break them open to see if there is a transformer and copper roll inside. Sometimes they also have a small piece of extruded aluminum.
Another great vid Poly, some interesting scrap you got. It's funny scrapping is like playing Tetrus, everything just has to fit in its place. Well done young man.
Good morning afternoon it took me that long to watch between breaks. Lol As always fantastic haul. Nice payout on the aluminum. Both together was a good day. Thanks for taking us along. I so love watching. Have a great weekend. Hugs to all 🥰
Great respect for what you are doing! I cycled Australia for one year and for me (as an European) it was just mind-blowing how much usable stuff was lying at the road. Just because people got tired of using it - how crazy is that!? Cool that you care about recycling it as much as you can and still make a living from that. It would be nice if more of the stuff would be reused instead of recycled. Are there any second hand shops for other things than clothes? Are Aussies buying second hand bicycles for example?
You’ve seen it first hand! It is crazy mate. We do have second hand shops. I donated some of the bulky things I had not sold yet yesterday. I met a guy once who dealt with bikes but lost his contact details. I’m sure I’ll meet someone that will help save more bikes. Thank you for the support 🙂

Hi Poly. Do you find it harder or that it takes longer, having to empty out your trailer from a side on approach now, instead of bailing it straight out the end of your trailer, into the scrap yard pile? They don’t seem to give you enough room anymore, to back it straight up to the pile.
@@PolyProphet I thought you might feel it there! You’ve got to grab it, haul it up and then heave it over the side with enough oomph to get it on the pile. 🏋🏽♀️ Who needs a gym membership?
