This song is based on the Scripture Text found in 2 Corinthians 4:6 which says, “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
Our world lies in darkness of sin. People succumb to the allurement of things they have created which made them even think they are greater than God. Therefore, we all have sinned and come short for the glory of God, said Apostle Paul. But God in Jesus Christ, we found the light! Jesus, the Light of the world, lights our hearts that we may become the children of light. So let our light so shine before everyone that they may see God in us and glorify our God in heaven. Let’s continue to bring this light - JESUS CHRIST - the light of the world - into the heart of every creation of God in the world, so that all may live in the light of the glory of God especially in this dark, difficult and changing times of our lives.
