Kael'Thas Solo in Cataclysm Phase 1 - Ret Paladin - Al'ar drops on my first kill!

I needed almost 3 hours to find the correct approach and use of coldowns, and the kill is also a bit luck based on exorcism/divine purpose procs and on what Kael does in phase 4. Doing as Protection is recommended.

2:14 careful in bursting this guy, if you phase with the stun debuff on you will die
5:40 stay closer to Kael, those fireballs hurt and your healings/defensive cds are limited
9:50 try avoid that debuff, it reduce your max hp by a lot

man im fuckin jealous. Ive ran this at least 35 times in wotlk alone on my mage and a few times in cata so far, havent seen it drop once. Having it on retail since cata just isnt filling the void.

@@MarkBrady-n3c It's for all the unluck I've accumulated by doing Kharazan since almost 2 years and mount still doesn't drop :D but I'm happy I got this one fast because the fight is very stressing

@@Folklored Main ones are bartender, plater, easy frames, quartz (castbars), classic floating combat text (only damage done) + milk scrolling battle text, titan panel, weakaura, skada and others.. it's basically the most popular addons you can find in curseforge

In this video I was using Weakauras, but now I switched to SpellActivationOverlay (it's a lot better)
In original cata you didn't need an addon for this, I don't know why they have removed it

@@twitch5045 It has same drop of fiery warhorse in karazan, I'm doing that one since 1+ year and never dropped, while a friend got it 1st kill.. wow rngs are strange;)

@@timhuysmans2639 I used normal pve talents, but maybe it's a good idea to put world of glory talent (60% crit when Hp is below 35%) instead of exorcism one

Is it realistic to just run seal of light on kael or not enuff dps that way.
