Sunn 0))) is fantastic. Electric Wizard is quintessential. Pagan Alter is Classic. Black Sabbath is the grand daddy. Hell is god damned New Age Doom Metal Perfection that crosses many genre lines, Post-metal, Soundcape, Noise, Death all of it.

I am so glad I was there to experience it along with the other diehards and Lower Our Heads in amazement and reverence. I knew then, it would be impossible to beat.
Best blackened doom I've ever heard...should be top 5 for 2017 in the doom,sludge,black,death metal category! Vocals are insane, riffs insane...its like they broke the music into 1 minute segments and said, "how can we make this minute bad as fuck?"...then did it 49 times after that till they reached the end! PLeeeeaaaasse tour!!!
I've heard everything they've recorded...and love every note! I don't think enough people know about them...maybe thats a good thing...I don't see them losing their edge because of success...ever!

Hell is like an empire of evil. It is good to have information about bad things in order to reject them, but it is never good to get into details or close ups of things that can´t do good to anybody, but the other way around. Let us look for all good things, exalt them, enjoy them, recommend them and understand what we live for!

Cool record but not nearly as crushing as Buried at Sea's "Migration" That one still remains the most brutal sludge/doom record ever. Maybe not as "hellish" but tons more in sheer weight and heaviness
@@Rob.DOOM.Hammer Close but no. There is just less going on. Crispier production but not more heavy to my ears. Its the tone and "rolling thunder" what makes BAS so great. Just playing slow and low tuning doesn't cut it. Just my opinion ofcourse.
It's actually by Gustave Doré (1832-1883). Lots of bands have used his artworks, including Mono, Anaal Nathrakh and, as seen here, Hell. You have to check out the rest of his work, it's really haunting stuff.

it's probably the label that does that; the video has been blocked for a year. Then I met MSW at a festival; told him about the blocking and send him a mail afterwards with the link. He didn't respond but months later the video was unblocked. Whoever is making money of the adds it's certainly not me! I'd advise an addblocker.

It's actually the intro track to the album believe it or not. We've got it on vinyl. Maybe they switched it up for digital.
