I have been able to score 82,000 points in this game. Good tips: - Shoot all zombies in the head (except ones who throw things) - Shoot the zombie dogs in the mouth, right when they jump at you - In Chapter 2, don't shoot the secret floor. Change the elevator arrow to down. You'll be able to shoot more enemies thus more points. - When you fight the Hangedman, shoot the bats only first. Yes, you will encounter a longer fight, but worth the score. - After you fight the Hermit, KEEP on shooting his head, right until the results screen comes up. I have only tried this on the Model 2 Emulator, but want to try to get the same score with a real House of the Dead machine. :P
Conversus Wears Vans nice man. I think you lose 100 points everytime you get hit but i guess its still nice to not get hit as well. The game is much easier of you play in a standard cabinet imo for highscore runs. Delixe is exagerated and kinda annoying.
I haven't played the actual arcade machine often (it's hard to find now), but I'll try the one at the free arcade in Johnson City next weekend. I can play just fine with a mouse on Nebula Model 2 Emulator. :) You know what else I used to grind in the arcade? Harley-Davidson LA Riders -- made by the exact same developers (AM1). All the arcades I had scores of 6.8/6.9 million on for that game closed or removed it. :/ I miss both these games!
Nice! they got the blood re-enabled to red?! awesome! btw, great clear through! Here i thought i was the only person that's beast at House of The Dead. guess i was wrong... lol

Excellent video bro, you have my respect for finishing the game in arcade without using credits, greetings from Nuevo León México

Have you ever heard of getting almost 100,000 points? I'm CLOSE to that score; I just need to avoid being hit as much as possible.

BTW, where was that arcade you had the 84K score on? Just curious. Not many arcades have records of 62,000 or above (with Special Agent rank)...
you mean a picture or the palce. If you mean where it was in Panama since I reside over there where the canal is :P
Is that zombie raid I hear in the background with the "pump up"?
The score never appears on gameplay.

how did you get the score to show up?
On the title screen when inserting a credit, press the P1 trigger three times, P2 trigger twice, then start.
Thanks!
Might I add, this code will also work with player 2; just press the player 2 start. This is good in case the other gun isn't calibrated properly. :)
lol
