His level of focus and humility says it all, I was impressed and moved by this interview. The most impressive was him not internalizing racism because of his goals and also when he said there is no number for him but to have "time and choice" that blew me away...it goes to show that there are so many levels to wealth. Quiet wealth speaks volumes
This was an excellent interview. It feels like he’s generously sharing all his secrets, which is rare in CEO interviews. He comes across as genuinely humble, and I can see why he’s able to recruit such incredible talent-his personality is magnetic. Wishing him continued success, and please keep these interviews coming. It’s amazing to be a fly on the wall for conversations like this.
EYL - I was born and lived the majority of my life in the UK. I've been an avid follower of you both since your outset. Thank you for interviewing Dean (who I'd never heard about). I'm so impressed at his awesome achievements and thank you for the works and information that you continue to share amongst the community. Love you guys. Guidance and protection always.
I enjoyed how he just gave facts and he talked about business. There was nothing self boasting about him. No motivational quotes.. lol.. no you need to be this or that … just told his story. The calm energy was the best thing!
There is a lot of nuance is this conversation. I got a lightbulb in the first 20 minutes. I’m in sales and exploring, how to leverage my experience to create more opportunity for myself. Thank you 💡
S/o to the good brothas at EYL for sharing this interview! I seen the video of Dean Forbes celebrating after closing the deal that made him a Billionaire on TikTok. So inspirational!
I can relate a lot to this guy. I started a self funded private equity firm 2.5 years ago with $800 CAD and grew it to a company now worth $2.2M CAD. Most from acquiring undervalued Shopify stores and reselling for upwards of 500%. I wish more people understood the private equity/investment game. Life changing
Hello Valor - First, thanks for your comments. I am one of those who is ignorant of a private equity investment game. I really like to learn this. I am getting old and I have a lot of responsibilities, I lot of people depending on. What would it take for me to be your student? In other ways, would you be willing to teach me?
The interview was phenomenal. His energy was level headed. The love story in the beginning though little was stated spoke mounds about the character, belief & insight she had in him to allow him to get his grounding to be able to build properly. It was a refreshing take. Thank you for the interview.
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Michelle Stewart.
Wow. I'm a bit perplexed seeing her been mentioned here also Didn’t know she has been good to so many people too this is wonderful, I'm in my fifth trade with her and it has been super.
She is my family's personal broker and also a personal broker in many families in United States, she's a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in United states
Legendary interview!! Dean Forbes is the is the product of what can happen when you focus on your goals, stay humble and don't allow ANYTHING to get in the way!
Excellent. insightful and inspiring interview. Very great questions EYL👏🏿 👏🏿 👏🏿. The best thing about it is no course to sell because he paid full price and gave it to us for free
The shoulders you guys have had the opportunity to rub against is monumental and so motivational, watching you guys over the years has exposed me to so much that the world has to offer. Thank you so much for being you 👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏾🫶🏾
Gained experience on the job, working his way up from the very bottom. I believe he’s mentioned he got some mentoring from very influential ppl in the businesses who saw his potential.
Despite all the financial struggles I and my family faced, everything is finally falling into place! $47,000 weekly profit and riches I'll always praise the Lord
Elizabeth Regina Nelsen has set a precedent for others to follow. We cherish her here in the UK as she has been extremely helpful and made a lot of lives better.
Question, How do other companies find out what the other company is doing. With his second company Amex knew he was negotiating with mastercard. Is this information leak to the press or something to alert the competition or is it a mole type play?
A hostile is a really cheap shared room hotel not a shelter. You have to pay to stay there but the bed maybe $15.00 a night and you share your room and a communal bathroom.
Great story. I think he could have been interviewed better. ELY you need to do your research that way your interviews don’t sound like an interrogation. It’s an art form interviewing people and it’s a skill that can be learnt. Having said that, great job for bringing light to these great minds.
Just had to pause at the racism part. I think that’s the difference with racism in America compared to the rest of the world. We also have it badly in South Africa 🇿🇦 but I’d be damned to waste even an ounce of my energy towards it!
His level of focus and humility says it all, I was impressed and moved by this interview. Dean is a massive inspiration for Black British visionaries. Laser focus, humility, and a WILL to share wisdom. Legendary ish. Thank you Dean 🙏🏾

6 to 12 to 125 , thanks for sharing that story
This man is so inspiring! His life so far should be a movie
Having the "exit" conversation is very important to begin for Black founders because your children might not want to run the business you created.
There is a lot of nuance is this conversation. I got a lightbulb in the first 20 minutes. I’m in sales and exploring, how to leverage my experience to create more opportunity for myself. Thank you 💡

So focused on the Goal...Couldn't even see the Racism in the Room💯💰
Maybe, just maybe there wasn't any "racism" in the room!!
Why is it some black people find "racism" where ever they go 🤷🏼♂️
@BackStreetKarate maybe some ppl respond to comments and never understand the point of the comment 😀
good on you bro

Do you invest with a professional broker?? I'd appreciate it if you showed me how to go about it.
Thanks to Mrs. Elizabeth Regina Nelsen's time in my life, which had a profound impact on me.

Y’all keep trying to force a race issue. He told you all that ain’t it. It’s amazing how some attempt to project their issues on others.
