I'm from Tampa too, and my dad also died when I was 7 years old. But my mom is an amazing woman, still made sure I was raised right, and I never ended up down the wrong path. Family is more important than any other factor when it comes to drugs and crime, in my opinion at least. Great interview, Death.
Absolutely. I don't blame anyone for my actions but I'm one of those "statistics." Not having parents and relying only on yourself and "friends" from 16 up is bound to go wrong.

9:22 fighting for my husband now, they offered him a 17 year plea and back then he was only 20 years old and we had just had a baby, so he was dead set on, he didn't do it and he's going to take it to trial cus he can't do 17 years for something he didn't do. low and behold he of course lost and now he is serving 40 years. He is 19 years into his sentence and 21 to go. He missed everything from 1st steps to her highschool graduation and he's about to miss her college graduation next year. They didn't have no tangible evidence on him. Now we sitting here wishing he took that 17-year plea ( I just recorded a video about that) That is why I'm on TH-cam, now trying to fight for him and let people know about Florida, but it's really hard when you don't have a voice. You guys are so blessed to be able to tell your story and have an avenue to do so...
At least you blessed him with a child, im sure that is helping him get thru his bid. I dont know the details of his case so I cant just sit here and say I hope he gets out soon, but I do wish you and your child the best of luck and may God give you and your family the strength to get through 🙏❤

I raised our daughter which was alot of work, made sure he his good, going to visits all over Florida from Florida,Georgia,Alabama line to almost by Miami and phone calls trying to keep our relation ship good, and I went to school twice (tech school and college) So I did, and am still waiting, but I never sat still and waited, I know for us to finally be together out side bars, I have to some way get my finances up to afford "JUSTICE"
@@mrbiggs6818 Thanks I really appreciate the encouragement, I know every case is different, so I feel you on that "I cant just sit here and say I hope he gets out soon..." I 100 understand you on that. I believe my husband is innocent and they built a case that had no evidence, and they charged him with a weapon they never recovered a weapon. In my husbands case even if he did do the crime they accused him of, they excessively sentenced him, so at this point he did enough time whether he did it or not. But Florida there really ain't no such thing as fair trial. They lock you up and throw you away until your old and gray, or ready for the grave. Like when pieces didn't fit, they made them fit. I'm just greatful for platforms and channels like this that are putting the real out there. They are not lying or over exaggerating...100% truth!!!

Yo no lie, my wife to be in May held it down for me while i finished off a sentence back in parole violation so I only had a few months to finish but she held it down. Never done drugs, hard working, good woman. She saved my life.
Can't say it enough. I been in and out my whole life. 2 years ago I met thee most amazing woman. Honestly I don't deserve her, but she sees something I don't. I had some stuff to finish up(from before we met, and She knew), got that taken care of and she rode with me through it. Being with her has changed my life drastically for the best.

I was at Gulf Main Unit from March 2010 until Jan 2013. Shit was wild man, National Guard Landed a Chopper on the Rec Yard after a Riot. They straight put us on Martial Law inside Prison.

I’m from Jersey and I was making a living by going to different doctors to get and sell roxys and oxys in 2006-2008 till I got hit up by the cops too. Every one I know was doing this during those days. We would all trade doctors with each other. It was wild! Respect brother ✊

@@JacaboBlanco depends on state law, some states have no statute of limitations on drug sales. Be careful always.
It actually ran till about 2014 once hydro got rescheduled it was def all over the PMP worked in the state only. So you could still get 2 scripts if you got filled in different states and used private pharmacies.

Pill heads every damn where! I’ve seen how that goes first hand never touched a pill myself! I saw cats destroy their lives behind them pills! Don’t break the law in Florida! Come on vacation leave on probation! I love it here, but I don’t even jaywalk for real!

We would drive from bama to Florida and pick up tons of scrips. Getting scrips was the easy part , the hard part was getting them filled. We would literally have to drive to hundreds of pharmacies to get them filled because everyone was out.

Only thing that changed my life was realizing that life is to be enjoyed and to drop the so called friends and get a real job and start a real life with positive vibes with facing 45+ yrs i can say its hard to do so but i did it and became a better person and now i do everything from helping the homeless and helping the community thanks a lot for the input brother keep it up we can do anything we put our minds to

@@poodee9395 yeah and have some of the harshest federal laws when you get caught with them. I'm not putting my name on here but in a certain state I was caught and charged with fraud, countless federal indictments for multiple prescription law violations etc. I was caught counterfeiting prescriptions and then caught with about $500k worth of prescription medications. But that was a different time and things have changed a lot. I now work with the federal government as a contractor but nowadays people are mostly getting caught for selling their prescriptions. They're wanting to pass laws where people can only get a weeks supply if that drug is classified as a narcotic.

11:29 my husband been all over Florida from Georgia Florida Alabama border to almost down by Miami. Yeah he says the panhandle is ridiculous all anything up north is usually ridiculous (& racist) in Florida anything further down like the camp you talking about now it's similar to when he was at lake correctional it was almost anything goes there. Unfortunately after 6 years they shipped them back out from lake back up until the panhandle... I am so glad that you guys are shedding light on this situation because people really don't believe that this stuff is going on and they think that our prisons in Florida are rehabilitating people and they just locking up the bad people. The world needs to really hear this story that you guys are telling...

I mean people living in all different regions of Florida. 1 my dudes brought some back and tried to give me what he had left because he didn't wanna take it back with him, and he couldn't give it away. I was the first kid booked into that juvenile detention. I was sitting there with my buddy Rob eating a bologna sandwich when they brought everyone in on the chains fro Seffner juvenile detention. I'd been to Seffner a few times... I was 12 at the time

One last thing then I'll leave you guys and your comments section alone. Please since I am such a small TH-camr and I don't have much of a outlet to let people know, can you please put the word out that we the family members of Florida inmates are trying to bring about changes in Florida. But we do need people to call the representatives and committee members and let them know that we support these bills. For so long I have just heard people saying well Florida will never change. We have two bills that are being talked about in Tallahassee right now that can bring change. The bills currently are just sitting there though. These bills have got to be heard by the criminal justice committee to continue forward and a few other committees. We have never really gotten any criminal justice bills as far as these two have gotten this year. There are two there's one that is for Florida's gain time to go from 85% to 65% with education incentive s. And then there is a second look bill where they are saying there was so much going on back in the 90s and early 2000s and some laws have changed it is a way for anybody from the age of 18 to 25 to have a second look at their case because they are saying that these guys in this age range were not fully mentally developed and could have been rehabilitated if they tried, instead they handed them out life sentences. I am praying that one of these bills could get passed both of them could affect my husband and bring him home and countless other people. Is there a way you can please just for a minute talk about these bills so that we can get other people to know that they are there and to please support them. What they have planned is to leave it on the shelf and when session closes, they say time is up and not hear the bills like they did last year. Please help our state...
I am so glad i did time in FL DOC when they still had cigarettes, I remember me and my bunky had over 50+ boxes of tops in our cell and a rug a card table, full blown handmade shower with water hose and everything. Lake Butler reception was gravy because i got in close with the officers and played them ten fold like a real one. If you want to do time comfortably learn how to manipulate the entire prison and all officers and you will live a comfortable like inside those walls. Worst time i ever did was at Bravard CI back in the early 2000s that camp was fucking crazy, every one was getting locked and socked haha. Bravard CI is where Trick Daddy did his time at and everyone was betting money on fights on Thursday nights haha. Shit was stupid crazy.
Did they give the inmates a heads up that they were going to stop selling cigarettes? I bet it was hell when they stopped.. Those cigarettes were something a lot of inmates looked up to everyday

Im from jersey. Back in like 2010 I knew a group of people that would routinly travel down to fl, doc shop and come back with about 10k worth of blues. Even around here doc shopping was a thing, but florida was out of control. Pain clinics were on every street.
Why do you think heroin is so bad now? You used to be able to go to different doctors and get multiple scripts from every one of them. I used to get 120 roxys and 90 morphine a month from MULTIPLE doctors. Once the doctors got arrested for writing so many scripts, and the pills stopped flooding the streets, people were already hooked. So heroin, which is cheaper and more available, comes back in a big fuckin way.
