Benny Hill and Dave Allen at Large: the Best Comedic Acts from the United Kingdom from the 70s & 80s. May their memories be blessings. Messianic Rabbi Derrick Whitt
i normally hate the desecration of 'leave them alone classics' - usually true genius exported to Ibiza - but this is (for me) a sensitive reinterpretation of the original. I am very, very pleasantly surprised. I love it! I'll go and listen to the album. (PS listen to what 'DJ someone or other does to Donald Fagen's IGY and you'll see what I mean.)
And may your god go with you....
Most of the best television shows back then had really great original theme tunes. This a really good mix
Yes sir he was hilarious I remember Sunday night.bloody school next day 🍀 bless Pete 💚.

If i were a dj, this would be my lead in.
If Dave was still alive that would be his HBO series theme song.
Very good song!
Ah. Memories...
Very cool
Wish it was on 7 inch for my jukebox
Brilliant 🎶

Dave Allen was God.
Alan Hawkshaw who composed the original did a fantastic version for Dave's 1993 series. Sadly a clean version is unavailable.
Cheers for that @Gav J Braithwaite. And if anyone wants to know the name of the track it's "Studio 69".
@gj003f6898yes it was ment for keith mansfield
Dave Allen was funny. He's in hell now, but he was funny. Only joking.
A reinterpretation that borders on sampling. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it!
