This is extremely helpful and it answered a lot of questions I had about installation. I will need to combine two pergolas (13x10 and 16x10) and I just saw you March 28 article about combining two pergolas using 6 posts instead of 8. Would you consider making a video showing how to install them?

Is this system rated for hurricane wind. Thinking about the 12 x 16
Yes depending on the hurricane I suppose! It’s rated for 130 mph wind loads with the louvers closed. Most systems are more around 60mph.
Could the pergola be installed on top of an existing Trex deck?

Is it possible to place flush against a house? Would it be impossible to install the push nuts on the lovers and the link bar if one side is against a wall?

Does this pergola just plug into a regular outlet?
Good question, yes it does! Just plug into a normal 3 prong exterior outlet. (110 volts)
Does this system require a level base?
Hello! Great question! No it does not. All concrete slabs have some slope in them, which helps our system drain the water properly

What's the overall external and internal height of a 12x20 with louvers open?
External overall for a standard unit with no trim is 12' x 20'. Including the post bases, it's 12' 3" x 20' 3". Height overall on a standard kit is 10'2" with the louvers open, but you can request a different height up to 11'2", though additional charges may apply for longer post heights!
What is the cost of the 12 x 20 system shown here?
The cost is on our website, but as of the posting of this video our 12x20 is around $16-$17k
