    Down 2-0, no draymond for game 3, and the team has been terrible on the road all year but wins on the road in game 7 and he finished with 50 pts, the most ever. He drove the bus. Legend

      Every time I swear I think of Kobe's words!!! 🤷🏾‍♀He loved the Warriors, when he said "I get a kick out of watching Golden State play" and his smile after he said it, that alone spoke volumes as to how much he was a fan because Kobe really didn't give a💩about anything but he loved the game of basketball so he knew what he was witnessing was next level😭😭😭I know he's watching everything and smiling from ear to ear just like he did in that interview😢 I seen a comment on a post that said "Jayson Tatum was texting Kobe's phone during the finals but he was on the other line with Steph😂😂😂💀

      Luckily for JJ the refs entirely switched up after he whined and complained after game 2. Never heard a man cry like that about such fair reffing. Steph was allowed to push off and get any ticky tack touch foul he wanted, literally laughing at the free throw line. Thanks JJ!

    You can sometimes see it in steph's eyes and his demeanor. He's smiling and shaking his head and that calmness in his eyes, that no matter what, he is not going to let his team lose.

      @Tyler Holt you misunderstand the difference between refusing to lose and refusing to let your team lose. If the warriors lost tonight 0% of that loss would be on Steph's shoulders, hence he didn't "let" his team lose. His team would have lost in spite of his performance.

    People forget that it requires so much more skill to play the game at that level being Steph’s size. He doesn’t have the size to go through anyone like Lebron does or the height to rise up and shoot over people people like KD, or even Kobe. It takes a lot more skill and craftiness to score like that consistently. And what he’s doing now is even more impressive than when he first got his mvp’s because every single teams entire defensive plan is centered around him now.

      Thats definitely something I don't think about enough. He plays much bigger than he is. I love how strong he's gotten the last couple years. He's only a little above 6 feet but he's thick now.

    Steph has been doing this since college. His performance in the NCAA tournament and how he willed his team through the tournament as underdogs while entertaining the masses was different and reminiscent of how he continues to do it now.

    Kevon Looney, undoubtedly saved the season for the Warriors, the offensive rebounds that allowed them to get multiple shots. Scary that the Warriors are still not fully playing up to their potential yet with Poole and Klay missing everything. Excited to see what happens between LBJ and Steph, hopefully we get a series with no injuries!

      @@DanielTorres-pw8il Poole has been a serious disappointment. Perhaps it's the big contract. Perhaps it's the thing with Draymond. But I kind of feel like he's going in the wrong direction, and it would be a shame if he doesn't maximize his potential. I thought that being able to watch Steph for four or five years would only put him in a better place, but he is really regressing.

Curry and Thompson used to be annoying af to watch back then cause they were TO prone. Swear Curry had 5+ TOs a game and Thompson couldn't dribble to save his life. Curry also couldn't play defense but last couple years he's been pretty great. But most of all, Poole needs to be humbled cause he's been spoon fed since being drafted tbh.

He has had the advantage of being part of the one of the best organizations in professional sports, as well as a back up one of the best role models in sports, has already won a championship, and has a handsome $125M+ contract. Not that he hasn't worked hard to get where he is, but he really got fortunate in a lot of ways.
      His potential is Curry-esque, but I think that things have come much easier to him than they had for Steph, so the motivation may not be as pressing.

    Was hilarious when he lit the beam 😂. Steph will be all respect and wholesomeness off the court but when he gets hot on the court he doesn’t hold back and I love it. Him lighting the beam is just one of those icy cold moments like when he put Boston to sleep then pointed at his ring finger.

    Everybody is missing the point of why Steph is the way he is. Well multiple things; there's the up bringing. his parents raised him well. Going through high school being rejected by here and there, that taught him humility, and some fans might think he is the greatest, he himself enjoys the moment, embraces everything. All the stats might be important to some to define what type of player he is, but I think most of all, Steph doesn't take anything for granted in his life.

    You could see for the whole of the 4th, the Kings just looked gassed. If you play a whole quarter with 3 defensive possessions for each offensive one, it's going to take a toll, especially against a team that moves as much as the Warriors. It's an underrated part of the Dubs game, how easily they can tire out the opponent, and that's why those boards from Looney were so important even with all the missed FTs

      I don't think they were gassed. They couldn't handle the moment, they couldn't hit a shot. Barnes and Heurter were awful the entire series. Once Fox was injured, he was extremely inconsistent. You're not going to beat the Warriors when those three are providing so little

    Steph Curry went Ultra Instinct last night. SC’s consciousness separated from his body, hence, the divine handles and shooting skillz. I think Steph knew in that moment (ie., smiling, arms pumpin, etc) that he was on a different level. 🔥🔥🔥

    Looney was very vital throughout the series. Having the best shooter ever having a guy on the block that will get every rebound emphasizes the ultimate green light giving Curry and co even more confidence to shoot threes knowing Kevon is down low to give them extra chances. Looney has been playing with these shooters for so long it seems he is always in the right spot knowing exactly where the misses will be from each shooter on the team it is remarkable.

    I theory i’ve had on how Steph breaks teams will is how he able to shoot at anytime. Teams must stay focused at all times of he will hit a 3 and that causes mental fatigue. He tends to make the shot that breaks teams, the Kings go on a short run and be immediately hits a 3 it is hard to contend with for an entire game or series.

    The other great thing about Looney is that he is still in his 20s. It gets lost when people thought Wiseman would be his replacement but Looney was young too. Shout out to Loon the young Vet.

      So stoked when GP2 came back. Yes it took him a while to recover after the blazers messed him up, but damn. 4 blocks as a 6'2" for the Warriors. Not to mention all the uncounted defensive efforts. Kings team had a total of 5 blocks and GP2 had 4 alone. 🔥🔥🔥

      @@ggonzales4287 I appreciate Steph’s unique ability to space the floor and score from anywhere, his leadership and everything else. But I personally would rather take Magic’s GOAT playmaking, his size, ability to play any position, rebound etc. I think Magic is also just as good a leader

I would take floor spacing and the defense always having to attack the 3 point shot with Steph over Magic, who would be given the Ben Simmons, Draymond treatment on defense with his 3 point shooting

    JJ naming off all of those pts made by Steph is classic. Steph gives teams a different look every time he has the ball in hands or off ball. This is a first for sure, of all of what I've seen in basketball. Not even sure if this will happen again in a while. Enjoy Steph play everyone.

    It was so demoralizing to watch Steph do anything he wanted. One of the greatest individual efforts I've ever seen in sports. Combined with Kevon's offensive rebounds it was absolutely back breaking. The Kings had such a special season and the fans were so optimistic after game 2 but game 7 was a nightmare wake up call to just how far they have to go to be anywhere close to contending for a title.

    Steph isn’t a point guard in the way magic Johnson was, but he’s never been a pass first point guard. Steph Curry controls the pace of the game with his off-ball movement and has underrated handles.

    One of the main reasons why Warriors didn't have a lot of turnovers was because Steph decided he was gonna isolate more. Not a lot of passes to be stolen and misreads on cuts - just Steph handling the ball and getting screens.

    Was hoping that JJ would catch what every other commentator has missed: that while Steph was putting up 50, he was absolutely dynamic on the defensive end in the second half also. He was all over ballhandlers, and playing great team defense in passing lanes, too. He led the pressure the Warriors D put on.
