They will probably play only the green band "cleaner" version of this movie's trailer in theaters cuz they don't want to get lawsuits and complaints from pissed off parents about watching a triggering and violent trailer with their kids present.
@@17thknight Nope. Evil Dead Rise may be the next Evil Dead film, but it's not connected to the reboot. It's a direct sequel to the original trilogy & Ash vs Evil Dead.
Just thought I'd mention: The Evil Dead (1982), Evil Dead II (1987), Army of Darkness (1992), Evil Dead (2013), Ash vs. Evil Dead (2015) all take place in the same universe, timeline. The 2013 reboot was only a soft reboot and in a post-credits scene, Bruce Campbell shows up to basically confirm that it's all in the same universe. So Evil Dead Rise is technically a sequel to the 2015 series (and, according to Bruce Campbell, this and any movies going forward are likely going to be standalone sequels (so, different people dealing with Deadites) rather than have any connection with one another).
According to Bruce Campbell, starting with this movie, they're gonna mostly be standalones. This is just a new Evil Dead movie and it likely won't have a hard connection beyond the book and vague references.
People said that THE EVIL DEAD (1981) and everything else are related, when that's not the case at all, THE EVIL DEAD (1981) has NOTHING TO DO AT ALL with everything came after it, THE PRIME Ash, THE ORIGINAL, the 18-years-old teen Ashley James Williams is torn to shreds by the cosmic entity at the end of THE EVIL DEAD (1981), is utterly wiped out from existence turned into NOTHING but less than mere piles of dust, so THE EVIL DEAD (1981) is a fully one-off very STAND-ALONE story with an OBVIOUSLY very closed ending that wraps-up the story forever, confirmed by Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and Fede Álvarez, officially and canonically everything ends in the original.
Bruce Campbell a executive producer of the movie so he might be producing it with Sam raimi and I'm very excited to watch it since he's producing it like a good horror movie and helping out with the movie As well but looking information on the movie and collaboration with movies that they did and brought good ideas to the movie which is interesting
Evil Dead Rise is a sequel to the original three and not the 2013 version. The 2013 version was basically a reboot of the first one. What cracks me up is the scene where the mother is looking quite creepy and says the line ..."open up now." It just harkens back to the originals with the comical antics Sam Raimi is known for.
should go watch the Redband trailer much better :) it looks good but very disappointed that ASH isnt in these. Bruce Campbell was pushing this as Evil Dead 4 but it seems a 2nd attempt at a remake
Great video, a great reaction, and a great trailer. Want Ash in this, please :D. One more thing, Clarus look like Anya Taylor-Joy to me every time I see her :0
STOP 🥺🫣 i saw this movie last night and i already told myself i wasn’t gonna watch it, but i gave it and i regret it. i love horror movies, but something about this movie and the way she looked and the way she moved, the way they talked…FUCK THAT. shit scares me. disturbing.
I love that Jason Voorhees and Freddie Kruger are both canonicaly part of the Evil Dead universe.
Also Marvel zombies kinda
@@mickeymouse7726 and Creepshow
We have enough Expanded universes imo.
Legitimately looks really good. Also the red band trailer is much much better.
The red band trailer is definitely the shock factor version, where the green band gives a little more story context.
@@loen1z You're saying cheesy as if Evil Dead has never been somewhat cheesy.

@@nikitamohan3390 They only play trailers for horror films in front of PG-13/R-Rates films.
@@dawsynasay4841 Well there's a cleaner version of the evil dead rise trailer so...
This looks like a great follow-up to the 2013 remake. "Mommy's with the maggots now." Sold.
Bro you should react to Evil Dead Rise - Official Trailer (Red Band)
link th-cam.com/video/mwfK0OvBdfs/w-d-xo.html
It has nothing to do with the 2013 remake.
@@fandomgaymertransgirl2.0 It's following it, isn't it? It's the next Evil Dead, it doesn't need to have a direct connection otherwise.
@@17thknight It's sequel to classic movies (and tv series)

Love the face of Clarus at the end of the clip - she needed a moment to gather herself.

are deadites just known in this universe lol

This is the green band trailer. You missed out on da gore & different scenes
I think the evil dead franchise should just do anthology movies where it's different people dealing with the necronomicon and it's deadites

It has the same iconography as the remake. Also I am now awaiting a reaction to the morgue scene. You know the one.

Hi Nerdy and Clarus I love your reaction together to Evil Dead rises 🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟 You both are so amazing I love you guys ❤💙🥰
This is it’s own story within the franchise. Although Sam raimi hand picked the director for this one. I think Bruce Campbell is also a producer.
the 2013 remake evil dead was a good one too especially the ending part
