They get more free throws because they mostly rely on drives on the paint to score cause their 3 point shooting as a team is just barely above average and most of their best shooters like D.LO, Bron and Reaves are just streaky. Also their offense is not complex and fluid enough (cause Ham is just so ass) to draw up easy uncontested shots so most of their shots are contested hence the number of free throws.
AD doesn't show up vs the Nuggets. If he showed up, it would be competitive, but he doesn't have the toughness of guys like Giannis, Jimmy Butler, or even his teammate Lebron
