There's no way Sam didn't take the Super Soldier serum in this movie. He's not that strong enough to throw the shield like a frisbee and destroys incoming missiles.

Sorry but Captain America wasn't the shield...the shield is just an accessory.
The suit is his power. He spun around mid air with the thrusters and it added momentum to his throw. The Iron Man suit was Tony’s power, similar to Sam and his wings/thrusters.
"Captain America caught without his wings" - This line goes hard ngl.

The trailers look good but we have to remember that this movie bombed on the test audiences, resulting in *significant* reshoots. Even if they salvaged it, something must be inherently wrong here.

Well if you lower your expectations then it will be good. This kinda movie would be insane 20 years ago so let's give it a chance.

steven rogers had to land on his shield and struggled to get up when jumping out of a 10 story building in winter soilder
what kind of super serum did "on your left" take to be able to withstand the g-force of breaking the sound barrier AND landing without slowing down on his legs.
not to mention withstanding the explosion of a missile, even with protection it would have force behind it, kind of like taking a bullet with a bullet proof shield, it still hurts your arms and you have to set yourself or it will unbalance you.
As for the missile not hurting Sam, the vibranium in the shield is supposed to prevent the energy transfer from the impact. As for everything else, I don't know yet.
@@TheAdamantiumRonin the only reason i say this is because in the tv show. sam could only throw the shield so hard... a chair was able to stop the shield and now he can bounce it off missiles... he has to have something boosting his strength

Love the flying shots, how the camera turns and flips as Sam flies over ships. Just hoping that this makes for a satisfying Jack Ryan/James Bond esc political thriller.

Just an FYI to the nay sayers his entire suit, including the wings are pure vibranium with powerful thrusters. That gives him a huge range advantage, regardless of how quick and powerful Red Hulk is. Cap's weapons can weather a beating and out maneuver him.
I didn't even mention Red Wing's offensive abilities..

I find it funny when people say oh he can't be Captain America cuz he's just a regular human without super soldier serum when Iron Man literally went toe to toe with Thor, Thanos and The Hulk and his armor wasn't even made of vibranium like Sam Wilson's. Sure Tony Stark was a genius but big brains isn't going to stop that type of damage, only armor can do that.
