Seeing all those airliners parked on the taxiways in April of 2020 is a grim reminder of the beginning of the COVID-19 global pandemic when every airline in the world was pretty-much shut down. Thankfully, the skies are once again filled with airliners and people traveling.

Yes, So true Marla. So glad when this covid mess is finally completely over. During these times its so nice having your own plane to still travel around, even if it is just a little mini plane like ours. We fly it all over the southwest and Colorado. The planes at my airport are all there for repair or scrap.
      Take care, Fly Safe.

Hey Buddy, yeah the front wheel does always spin in flight. I'm not sure about the wheel bearing wear, actually never thought about that. There are no brakes on the front wheel, or anyway to prevent the wheel spin. As for the Lindbergh Reference, the CTLS has huge side windows that extend down to your legs, and a small mushroom shaped dash. Visibility is one of the best features of the CTLS, so the iPad placement doesn't interfere with that. Thank you for commenting, Fly Safe

Great video. I’m in the LSA market in the research phase. Questions, it looks like your nose wheel is always spinning in flight. Is that an illusion? If it is always spinning probably from prop wash I wonder if that has an affect on the wheel bearing life. Second I really like the placement of of iPad. Does it having any negative affect on your “Lindbergh Reference”. Thanks very much KAPF

Nice! you were right over my house at 16:00 I could see it. And you can see my shop at 24:30 right above your left rear wheel.👍

Your nav lights flash your landing light? Mine doesn’t do that.

Do you still have the airplane? I just bought a CTSW and it is based at GYR.

    Nice, stable approach. Complicated airspace!

Thank you so much, yeah we have 4 airports, a Class B and an Air Force Base right on top of each other. Sometimes gets busy.

@@leatherslightsportaviation5002 I saw where you used to fly a Sportcruiser. What made you switch to the CTLS?

@@scsmithphoto Hi Stephen, actually the Sport Cruiser was a way easier plane to fly than the CTLS, but it is not a good plane for AZ. The canopy style top is brutal in the summer even with the shade pulled. I like to run ForeFlight on an iPad, but I couldn't in the Sport Cruiser, the cabin would get so hot that the iPad would over heat and just turn off. Sometimes it would only make it about 20 mins and over heat. I never get that in the CTLS no matter how hot it gets outside, also you can taxi with the doors open in the CT, and the visibility is way better. So those are my "personal" reasons for choosing the CTLS. Thank you, Brian
