Hey guys. This was the first and last time I work with Established Titles. Im sorry yall 📕The integration and contract was signed a month prior to everything coming out. I thought it was legitimate company offering a gag gift but it turns out they had a shadier side.
Do you remember a lego browser game where it was like a beach and you could choose minigames in it and it had that basic beach music?? It mightve been extremely unknown so I might never find it
I feel like a lot of Mandela Effects come down to memories combining. Take the Cat in the Hat example you gave. I bet people are remembering the actual line and combining it with the scene where he cuts off his tail. Also a lot of these post are from people’s childhood, so that also helps with memory combinations
Exactly. You almost never ever see anyone talking about a Mandela effect that happened last week. It’s always from childhood, where your “memory’s” often get mixed up with your own fantasies
Science bitch was from reddit cringe humor. The line was always yeah science. People just combined yeah science with his tendency to say bitch all the time. Likewise Farley said into the fan "Luke I am your father" in Tommy Boy. He added Luke to give more context to the joke. This line was then conflated with the original Empire line. It's so stupid. Now some ME's seem to have something to them. The Fruit of the Loom one for example.. I remember it having the horn. Just saying I'm not a hard skeptic
@@guyincognito320 that cornucopia one is real. I asked my father what it was back around 2006. Seeing that the brand said it never existed like other various logos and brand names id say who ever really owns all these corporations are playing an extremely complex elaborate joke. If were trying to be “reasonable”
It’s literally just false memory, that’s all, it’s kind of getting old because I wouldn’t be freaking out and pass out over a cereal brand not having one thing that was never there. There were a few that got to me, but i just chalk it up to me not noticing, mixing them up, or misremembering them.
I can tell you for a fact that on the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft also knows as Legacy Edition DID have the feature where the music disc would pop out after completing the entirety of the track. As one of the guys mentioned, you had to stay near the jukebox other wise you were at risk of losing the disk to the 5 min entity clearing. It used to be about 8mins for ground clears if I'm correct which was about the length of the green cat/ dog track. This really just shook me, because I have multiple vivid memories of the disc popping out, it's not something you can easily miss. You'd come back from building something or smelting and the tracks would be hovering on top of the juke. I played Minecraft probably around the time of it's release on may 9th, 2012 and a few years after and I can tell you this 100% used to be a feature in the game for sure! I was eleven- thirteen around the height of minecraft 360's release, so it's not a misremembering. ( This is weirder to me because I've recently been playing bedrock A LOT and you have to manually remove the discs after they complete.)
Yes! I grew up on the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft and I always remember the disc popping out. It makes sense since discs don't loop, so having it pop out makes sense as apposed to the disc just sitting in the jukebox. I did more research on the topic and sure enough a lot of people were saying that the disc popping out was a feature that was exclusive to bedrock. So the feature definitely existed on bedrock for sure, but that leaves me wondering how so many people who grew up on Java remember this feature.
@@alyx5979 Yeah I'd have to agree considering even to this day bedrock and java have such small differences with the littlest things. It is weird that people on java would remember this as well because I also played java frequently since bedrock didn't release till 2012, and I can't 100% say that it used to pop out as well on there. These Mandela effects are messing with me man 🤣😂
9:45 Very much so. 'Alien' is simply an archaic word for 'foreign', 'Matrix' is a derivation of the Latin word for 'mother', 'Mater', and 'Unicorn' is in the Bible due to a translation error: the original Hebrew uses the word 'Re'em', which in ancient Hebrew meant something like a wild bull or buffalo. In Greek, this was rendered as 'monokeros' (Greek meaning 'one horn', and their name for a unicorn), which was altered to 'Unicornus' in the Latin Vulgate, and the King James Version, which is the translation which references unicorns, is based on the Vulgate, not the original Hebrew.
But it doesn't make sense listening to the NKJV one day and it saying one thing then the next day something different? Do you remember the verse about spilling your seed in the belly of the whore it's no longer in there now.
This is a Mandela effect that happens to me recently Back when I was like 9 or 10, I watched the animated movie The Prince Of Egypt for the first time at a friends house, and I strictly remember the movie featuring a scene towards the end where the Israelites build the golden calf. And I strictly remember Miriam telling Arran "God will forgive you" before he desires to build the calf. I rewatched the movie recently, and turns out THE LINE AND NOT EVEN THE GOLDEN CALF ARE IN THE MOVIE AT ALL! I was literally So tripped out by this.. I looked it up to see if maybe the version I watched with my friend was like an extended version or something, and turns out NOPE! The scene never existed! I found a Reddit post tho where apparently many other people thought the same thing! It's crazy
I SWEAR there was a Coraline scene with the other mother’s hand holding the key.. I’m actually freaking out because I vividly remember watching that scene. I don’t remember it being after credits, just at the end of the movie.
ME TOO! I rewatched the movie a while ago and remember finishing it and feeling like something was missing. And I know I’m not mixing it up with the hand escaping the door earlier in the movie, I DO remember the hand somehow getting out of the well. This is so weird lol
Should form a group with other people who remember the scene and have each of you draw or recreate the scene from memory. It would be interesting to see the similarities.
Okay as someone who is low key obsessed with the live action cat in the hat I remember it as “I’ll get you and it’ll look like a bloody accident”. Like I didn’t even know that people thought the line was something different
I think the Freddy one stems from the fact that the green is really dark and probably looks black in the dark. Plus the remake Freddy’s sweater is black and red .
Obviously when I was younger I thought is was pure black I made an entire Minecraft statue of horror movie character because I liked them at the time and his stripes were black I'm not a horror movie fan anymore I never watched much of the movies fully only a few scenes on TH-cam I stopped liking horror because scary stuff stopped being scary and over time I can tell is was light green stripes
@@blackben5053 yeah Freddys sweater had been Red and Green UNTIL the reboot, they even based the designs of MK9 Freddy and Dead By Daylight Freddy on the reboot and the sweater is clearly Red and Black Links to Trailers featuring the Red and Black: th-cam.com/video/1o9JljEJ7HU/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/MJgGcJnpUDo/w-d-xo.html
Valis, you are one of the only youtubers that do this content without making it seem really crazy. I appreciate this so much, because there is so much to the ME that is strange. I have considered starting a youtube of my own just for mandela effects, retconned subreddit posts, and other high strangeness without it becoming absolute delusion. I really would enjoy if you talked about some of the stuff people on the retconned subreddit mention like the changing sun mandela effect and the weird time, how time feels weird or goes at a different rate.
Minecraft discs 100% used to pop out on their own, I remember that cuz I used to listen to discs while I built in creative, and got mad because it always popped out when it was done, and fell somewhere where I couldn't find it! Most mandela effects don't really surprise me too much, often times I think it's just a group of people misremembering something, their memory likely merging it with something else, but that one is really weird.
I vaguely remember it as well that the discs would pop out back in the day. It might be possible that the newer versions of minecraft patched this function out due to many getting annoyed at the discs popping out on their own and despawning after a while. So maybe some got so used to it not popping out anymore that they forgotten it used to pop out?
@@Simkets Hmm that's definetly weird. I actually remember pretty well not being able to go far from the jukebox or not wanting to because I knew it would pop out and despawn
The most impactful mandela effect for me personally is still the boots ice pop. I swear I vividly remember having one. I was maybe 6-7, and I would often get ice cream from a little cooler that was in our local CO-OP gas station when we would get gas. I remember getting twisters, and those character ice pops, and I definitely and vividly remember having one that was yellow, blue, and purple. Sure, I could be misremebering a different character, but I was a big fan of Dora growing up, and I wasn't much a fan of any of the other characters that the company that makes those ice pops made.
there was a bugs bunny one that was relatively boots like, i kept searching and i kept finding more strange popsicles (kim possible and danny phantom??) but i did not find a boots
@@5bc500 I agree, there is a blue tint bugs bunny one that looks just like boots. The more I think about it the more i believe it's not real, mostly because it'll be difficult to make one of boots defining feature, the bit of hair on his head.
OMG SAME! my grandparents have a little camper-turned-cottage down near the Chesapeake bay and every afternoon 2 ice cream trucks would drive by and offer ice cream. I remember the boots pop they sold. It was just his head from what i remember but the rapper had his full body. His head was so unique i never forgot. But ive never seen them anywhere else.
For Coraline, I remembered that exact scene (minus the key). I remember my mother renting the movie from Blockbuster and I watched it by myself in the living room. Does blockbuster happen to offer movies that have different scenes or menu layouts? Maybe this “scene” is actually part of an interactive menu? I’ve had another Blockbuster rental movie effect but from the SAW III menu layout. It was the usual dark green layout with meat hanging from hooks in the background and every so often a pig head on a hook would come flying from the right of the screen before disappearing to the left. This was years ago and I remember it vividly because it terrified me. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find this menu layout.
I had an experience that was either a vivid dream or a case of Mandela effect. It was an episode of SWAT Kats named "Unlikely Alloys". The episode dealt with a robot that started absorbing anything metallic and at one point absorbs Mac, from the Metallikats. So Molly has to team up with the SWAT Kats and enter the robot to destroy it from the inside, but when he sees Mac half-absorbed inside she removes the shield protecting her and lets herself be absorbed. The thing changes after the heroes defeat the robot. I remember, very vividly, the ending showing the ruins of the robot and, among them, the "corpses" of the Metallikats, clearly dead, with their eyes no longer shining and even a sort of sad expression on them. And all of this with a pretty haunting melody playing. Years later I found about the show and that image popped in my head, so I went and searched for the episode on the internet. I found it and the end was completely different, with Molly, alive and well, looking for Mac in the ruins of the robot and finding him, also alive, but with his head fused to a food procesor, all played for comedy. Watching this video it made me wonder...
dude I've been having a shitty day, I found out that my mom has cancer and my life has been going downhill ever since this happened and there has been so much stress in my life so I decided to take a break and watch TH-cam and this was on my recommended because I've recently gotten into watching Mandela effects and decided to give it a go and the first thing i hear is " I hope you guys are having a good day, if not feel free to vent about it in the comments" and you have no clue how much you made my day your also the first youtuber who i have heard to say something like this and even though you might not read this I feel better getting it out I hope you have a wonderful day! (i liked and subscribed btw)
So here's one I experienced somewhat recently. A few of my relatives said they remembered the same thing. In the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air intro, when Will's mom says "You're movin with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air!" I remember the mom actually being Will Smith dressed up as an old lady as a gag, But it's not, it's an entirely seperate and uncredited actress that definitely isn't who actually plays Will's mom Vi in the show. I'm curious if anyone else remembers the same thing.
Yeah, I remember it being Will dressed as an old lady too. Although, it could be that the actress kind of looks like Will if you don't look at her long and that's why. That, paired with the fact that she isn't on screen long AND the fact that Will is that one who says the line could contribute to our big misremembering!
As someone who's been playing Minecraft since 2012-2013 on PS4, there was a feature where the disc WOULD automatically pop out of the jukebox, and I didn't realize it got removed (maybe) since I don't play it anymore. Nonetheless it was an actual feature and did exist at one point, just maybe not for other platforms.
With the Michael Jackson album I personally feel like people saw the shadow of his collarbone on the album cover and misremembered it as a necklace because if you look on the cover his collarbone actually looks like a shadow of a necklace if you glance quickly.
For Michael Jackson’s thriller music video, I personally remember the ending being the girl waking up in the movie theater. She was sitting in a chair waiting for Michael to come out the bathroom. She had fell asleep which led to the whole music video. Michael comes out the bathroom and wakes her up. She says she had a bad dream and Michael pretty much brushes it off and says he’s gonna take her home. As they walk off together, Michael turns and looks back at the camera and that’s when it pauses, his eyes glow, and you hear the laughing. I’ve watched that music video numerous times n that’s the ending I remember. After Michael jackson died, they had all his videos playing on tv n I saw the ending was different than what I remembered. I freaked out at first but everyone says my ending was wrong so idk. But I know for sure what I remember
@@Lolaloveslemons i think the last half of the original comment is right, he woke her up and walked off to take her home but before the video ended he turned around and the laugh played but i think this all took place in a house instead of a movie theater
No thats definitely right, except its in a living room and hes not in the toilet. But I just watched the neding and michael jackson taps her on the shoulder, offers to take her home, and then looks around revealing yellow eyes and the laugh plays.
I also grew up watching all the adaptations of TMNT and I remember Wingnut and Screwloose. I even had a figurine of Wingnut I distinctly remember. I also have my own random mandela effect that trips me out. I used to watch the US Big Brother show religiously when I was younger. And I distinctly remember two of the players having this really big feud. I remember a diary room scene where one of them had a meltdown over the other, and I remember looking it up on TH-cam after the show aired to see what other people were saying about it. A little while later when I went to look up something regarding it, I find out it never existed. The players never even played in the same season, in fact they played 2+ years apart. So I'm not sure if it could have been a dream, it wasn't like I was mixing up players in the same season. It's small but I've never had my reality tripped out like that before.
I think people misremembered Freddy Krueger's sweater due to the quality of TVs back in the 80s-90s. Not all TVs were the same in quality back when they used CRTs.
the coraline one is seriously messing me up like i got chills, i so vividly remember the hand popping out of the well at the end, yes not the door but the well
Same! I remember being confused on why that scene wasn't there when I re-watched Coraline! Maybe I could be a little confused because I also used to watch The Theorizer's Coraline theories, & I remember he every now & than mentioned that the Other Mother is STILL after Coraline, & the Other Mother's hand is indescribable, & could easily fix itself, & after the credits, there IS in FACT a scene, but it's just with the Jumping Mice, so maybe I could've just got both of those memories mixed up & combined them in my head, thinking I could've remember that scene of the Other Mother's hand coming out of the WELL, but probably never happened... 🤷
When you look at Michael Jackson face on the album cover, in the corner of your eye the light reflecting off of those two little grooves between his neck and chest kinda looks like the end of a chain which is probably where that Mandela effect comes from
Years ago, I remember watching a TH-cam commentary video reacting to an anti-bullying video where it had a character called Bony Tony who was bullied for being skinny. I’ve been searching for 6 years and I cannot find a single trace of it at all
In regards to the Coraline one, I'm not sure if it's a confirmed fact or just a fan theory, but I think the well is another portal to the Other World, which is how the cat is able to come and go whenever he wants, meaning the Beldam's hand wouldn't need to come out of the well with the key since it's already where it's trying to go.
The musicians mandela effect with melodies has happened to me too as a music producer. I sometimes remember really good melodies for a long time but have no idea where they came from but I still decide to make a song out of it, but then I show it to people and nobody recognizes the melody, not even Google Search tool for looking for melodies. It has happened to me several times now lol. It's actually cool because it makes you feel kinda relieved since it's like your music creation is more unique and creative than what you thought it was.
Coraline is one of my favorite movies, i've DEFINITELY seen the movie over 100 times (seriously i had it on dvd and didn't have cable or anything growing up, just a dvd and vcr player) but that ending was definitely real. i don't remember it being an after credit scene it was just at the end, after coralines family had the garden party but, it just seems like a foggy memory. i also watched coraline a few months back and i just cant shake the feeling it was there.
YES! I remember it too and, upon rewatching it recently, I also got the feeling something was missing! I do think it was at the very end of the movie after the garden party, NOT after the credits though.
They may have gotten rid of the scene from discs and other copies of coraline because it gave the idea there will be another movie which there won’t be since the creator doesn’t think he could top or match the original. That’s the only logical reason I can think of besides mass hysteria and us all just “remembering” something that doesn’t exist.
i have a mandela effect. So clearly I remember at the end of ironman 3 when one of iron mans suits is attacking pepper, she turns to tony and tony says "Oh sure, blame the guy who made em" however watching it back he actually states "oh what are you mad at me?"
The Minecraft one, WHAT??? I remember being in creative as a child, putting a disc in the jukebox, and when the song ended it would eject the disc and it would duplicate, as creative mode does. That is SO WEIRD
Chucky's is probably just a mishearing. Freddy's sweater is red and green but is so dark it appears red and black. No one talks about those two TMNT characters anymore, OP probably hadn't seen the show in a while.
I remember the Coraline hand scene at the end AND the sequel itself. Well I didn't watch it, I just remember seeing it on my TV guide and wanting to watch it but it cost around $5-10 or something so I had to ask my mom. She told me no, but then I saw it again on a different channel we didn't have and tried to record it anyway (this was the beginning of the tv-recording box era). The title was "Coraline 2: Through The Hidden Door", and the Beldam had returned in a different location with a vengeance, and it was up to Coraline and Wybie to solve her mystery and kill her once and for all according to the plot synopsis. I think it came out in 2012 according to the listing, and I was hyped asf and had that movie in the back of my head on my watch list for years. Fast forward to my online shop era, I had internet access and could afford to purchase the movie on my own. I got all excited just to find out that somehow, the movie I was waiting to watch for years never existed, and I am absolutely positive that something sketchy is at play.
I don’t usually believe in the mandala effect rather I find the concept interesting but I think I have one of my own: as a kid I owned all the shrek dvds and one of my favorites was shreks spooky stories, specifically the one where the muffin man creates Gingy a girlfriend but then she turns into a really obsessive girlfriend, we would watch this daily, and there was this one scene I remember where Gingy tries to get way from her but is cornered by his girlfriend in the muffin mans giant factory-esqe kitchen with all his bakery appliances. she starts saying how she though he was happy with her and then says “maybe I’m not pretty enough” (this does appear in the scene) and smears on makeup (icing lol) and says, as I remember, “is this good enough for you, Gingy?” But she literally never says this and my sister and I swear she did and everytime I watch it I cannot stop thinking about it idk I’m wondering if someone else remembers this missing line
I REMEBER THS!!!!! The Gingy spooky story was me and my moms favorite and i remember this scene like i watched it 5 minutes ago she definitely said "Is this good enough for you, Gingy?" EDIT: After rewatching "Bride of Gingy" Sugar says "Maybe I'm not pretty enough. I can be pretty... really pretty! The girl of your dreams." instead of "Maybe I'm not pretty enough. *smearing icing on her face* is this good enough for you, Gingy?" like i remember
Wow! I got scared by that last one. I vividly remember the hand of the Other Mother moving and grabbing the key in the post-credits scene, and it gave me an even creepier vibe during my childhood because the movie was left "open-ended" and didn't have a "definitively happy ending." Now that I discover that this scene doesn't exist, I'm just confused. I thought there would be a sequel someday after many years, and I was ready to watch it when it came out...
Speaking of Yesterday, Paul McCartney sworned that he heard a similar tune when creating Yesterday to the point he asked if they heard about it but then found out there's absolutely no song whatsoever resembling his song Yesterday. But giving a deep search will actually find a song that's similar to Yesterday's tune but Paul hasn't confirmed this was the tune he was talking about.
To this day I remember a personal Mandela effect that happened to me when I was a kid. I had a big stack of comic books, like 50 of them in my drawer. I loved those comic books. Almost every night I was reading them, I would sit on my bed and read them one by one until I have read all. I did this for months and months. Then, one day during my comic book reading session, I have remembered reading a really cool story (I don't remember what was it about anymore, it has been years since that day) so I jumped off my bed and looked through my comic books to find it and read it again. It wasn't there. I looked through every single one of them (These comic books had like 3-4 different stories in 1 book). I did remember what it was about and even how some of the pages looked liked, but it wasn't there. I don't have siblings and my mom definitelly didn't take it. There was no reason, and she would tell me by now as she is familiar with the story. Also I was just missing 1 story, if soneone would have taken the whole comic book, I would be missing like 2-3 more stories. It was just 1. I was so confused for many days, I tried to find it even weeks after it disappeared. To this day, even though I no longer remember what the story in the comic book was about, I don't understand how it could have just disappear out of existence. The day I have learned about Mandela effect, I have immediately remembered this experience....
Funnily enough, as a kid I was terrified of the DVD cover and spine picture (Chucky's face was on the spine of the case, cool a rhyme!). Then once I got older and actually watched the movie, I found myself enjoying it.
I do remember the whole music disk popping out of a jukebox deal. It made sense from how the block kinda resembled a DVD/VHS player where you put the disk in and then when it's done it comes out. My guess is that it was from assumption OR, from old version of Minecraft where that used to be the case.
The disk pop out when it's done. I used to poke around these jukeboxes when I was a kid and when the jukebox spits the disk it would the turn to play another one I believe it must be an old version somewhere.
I don't know where people are getting that Coraline ending from, the hand was literally crushed by a rock where it split apart into fragments and dropped down a well into blackness. The movie does have an unsettling aura of you want to call it that at the end because you see the garden is still shaped like Coralines face.
The album cover changes does happen though. It's also the same with the Slipknot debut, one of the members had a purple plume at the top of their masks, but on later releases it dissapeared from the artwork.
I'm in an introvert FB group, whenever someone would start confusing their shyness with being an introvert I would tell them that's not what the dictionary says an introvert is, until recently all of a sudden dictionaries started describing introverts as a shy person, I was so shocked that I literally froze staring at the screen like for five minutes lol
@@squizzo5809 The mandela effect for me is that dictionaries are now describing introverts as a shy person, when before I remember they just describing it as a person who just likes being alone lol
@@kalasatwater2224 It kind of covers both. An introvert is a person who doesn't like being the centre of attention. That could mean being shy or just liking being alone. You can find many different definitions but they all essentially reduce down to a person who doesn't like being the centre of attention.
I still remember my first Minecraft base from when I was 10, so I definitely can remember playing on my old Xbox 360, being worried my disc would despawn if I didn't catch it after it popped out. This is terrifying because of how clear and good my memory of it is. I like to think I have an amazing memory in terms of visuals, so hearing about that one actually made me sit up right.
For the Freddy Krueger one, I believe Freddy Krueger DID have a black and red sweater in Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994). So the people who believe his sweater was black and red were right, but misremembering Freddy Krueger's sweater based on that specific adaptation of A Nightmare On Elm St.
I believe Red & Green is also the most common type of color-blindness too, I wonder if that contributes. Green traffic lights all look white to me, depending on the green shade I would probably see it as black.
i can recite basically every word of the cat in the hat movie, i’ve seen it a million times and ive always remembered it as “ill get you, and itll look like a bloody accident”
The Flintstones one irritates me because "Flinstones" makes no sense. Flint is a type of rock that was widely used by early man so it just makes sense in the title of a prehistoric cartoon. That guy was either just wrong or trolling.
Weird. I remember Chucky's catchphrase just being "Hi, I'm Chucky!" Also I heard of Vampire being in one translation of The Bible. It went like this. "The vampire has two daughters. 'Give! Give!' they cry." I looked it up and it's "The leech has two daughters. 'Give! Give!' they cry."
A Mandela effect me and my wife share is from Addams Family Values movie. At the end when Debbie gets electrocuted and explodes, my wife and I both remember Debbie's ashes falling to the floor, her credit cards, and then two silicone implants dropping with a plop plop. Apparently the implants part never happened but we both were waiting for it to happen after she blew up. I've heard that may be from another movie that we both remembered wrong. Anyone know?
Yeah I was shocked as well. I watched it a year ago for an essay and I was shocked when it didn't exist. I even remember writing a line in the essay saying " It's better to destroy the key to your past to move forward in life" which refers to the scene that somehow doesn't exist.
man you vids are always awesome, u have a soothing voice, and the topics are neat. please can i do more proved a d disproved conspiracies. thank you, keep up the great work !
For me the most recent Mandela effect i had was with the Avatar: the last Airbender show. It was in the last part/episode of the black sun arc. I remember uncle iroh breaking the bars of his jail cell and striking the old guard that was mean to him, only once. I remember the guard coming to the cell after hearing iroh break out and trying to firebend but then iroh striking the guard once then he ran off. I was expecting this scene when i rewatched the show the last time it came back to Netflix. I kept watching and waited for it to happen and it never did. I looked it up on TH-cam but found nothing. I did find someone else in an Avatar clip on TH-cam who said they remember the same as me
very likely in the gap between you seeing the show and you rewatching the show, that you created the scene in your head based on the memory of the aftermath of Iroh going silverback in jail.
Book of valis posted. Im watching. Also the clock with the hole in the scarface scene where they count the money, I remember used to be a hole in a felix the cat clock. Also the line in the movie says "theres a camera in the eye" also felix the cat looks different.
The Coraline one I know exactly what it looks like I saw it I remember because at the end I was like that’s why she should of double tapped that witch lol and to see the hand pop up I was like aww no”HERE WE GO AGAIN”
Dude no same I remember seeing like a cliffhanger ending of the mothers hand with the key and thinking awe yeah there’s gonna be a sequel that means she’s coming back or not gone. Wtf!
i love your casual and good-natured style. You should branch off and do some longer form content on one subject. Like a deep dive on interesting topics.
I remember it saying "for the lord is a jealous god" not "whose name is jealous" the latter is like an English speaking atrocity. It implies both that his name might literally be "jealous" or it could be implying that hos name is capable of feeling jealousy on it's own lol
The Mandela Effect is simply our brains misremembering certain things, combing memories or even filling out the gaps in what we can recall with that specific memory. It's somewhat similar to how our brains starts to "imagine" things when it's "bored", like for when you stare at the mirror for to long or when you're walking alone in you're house.
Usually, I watch these Mandela Effect videos just for the hell of it since - I do not believe in the mandela effect. Until you brought up the Emoji and yes, I do cearly remember the Hiker and the Robber on my Android Phone. The Hiker as far as I remember was actually completely visualized with a shirt and pants, just as the runner
i think when i was younger i remember having the thought "how did she get her hand back together?" but i dont visually remember anything, i also watched on dvd and maybe ill go find it and look through it
Here's a weird one. When I first saw The Dark Knight Rises, I remember near the end of the movie, when Batman and Gordon are confronting Two-Face, Gordon explains that The Joker swapped the addresses of Dent and his wife, meaning they saved him on accident. However, rewatching the film, that didn't happen. If anything the "new" ending where Joker didn't lie makes more sense as Dent was making more of an impact with Gotham than his wife had. Also that's a cute cat in the back.
I mentally "insert" scenes in movies sometimes but it's usually scenes from other movies and especially when it's a movie with a disjointed timeline. Recently I thought a scene from no country for old men was in once appon a time in Hollywood.
@@GrandDawggy That actually reminds me of another one. This one’s even stranger, sort of a combination of Mandela and Childhood Trauma. There was an episode of Mythbusters where they showed a clip from Child’s Play as a reference to test the TV in the bathtub death. But SOMEHOW despite never seeing the movies my brain jumbled up the whole thing. I thought that in the scene, a goth dude was taking a bath and Chucky broke a light fixture above him, raining down sparks and glass impaling and electrocuting him. First of all, the Goth guy was in the opening act of Bride of Chucky, the actual victim was a blonde lady. Secondly, the shattering ceiling death happens in a red hotel room caused by Valentine, not Chucky (although Chucky would do his own version of the shattering ceiling kill in Cult). So yeah, an even bigger mess.
That Freddy Kreuger one is officially the stupidest Mandela effect to ever exist. The whole point of Freddy's sweater's colors was because the brain has a hard time processing red and green together. The whole POINT is that you aren't seeing the colors correctly. Like normally this stuff is people with bad memories, but this isn't even that, they DO remember correctly, they just don't get it.
has anyone here remembered something that only happened in a dream then you keep questioning if that thing actually happened for about 5 minutes after you wake up?
In the first child’s play when chucky is about to be burned he says “wait Andy no! I’m your friend till the end remember?” Andy says “this is the end friend” Edit : rewatched the scene I was wrong it is friends TO the end not Till.
For the breaking bad one, in Malcom in the middle they referenced breaking bad and when Bryan Cranston mentions Jesse, he says he always said ”yay science b***h”.people must be remembering that instead but it’s still weird he never said that in breaking bad
There’s videos from 13 years ago back in 2009 titled “yeah mr. white, yeah science”. People are most likely misquoting it due to the “Yeah Science Bitch” meme that was all over the internet in the early 2010’s
I've been part of the Church for a while, and I can confidently say that the passage saying God's name is jealous is just a translation niche, and the passage is just saying that God should be praised above all else. God does have a name, though; the Hebrew word Yahweh.
I know the music disks pop out. Me and my friend literally had a game where we would build forts and run to each others jukebox before the disk pops out.
I remember playing minecraft xbox 360 ed like 6 years ago, and I vividly remember making a giant floor of music discs where I mixed the music, but the discs didnt pop out... if that happened I would have had about half the fun I did while doing that.
There was absolutely a Robber emoji because I used it.I didn’t realize it “didn’t exist” until recently. I also remember the traffic cone! Holy crap, there’s so many it’s hard to know which ones don’t exist any more lol. Michael Jackson absolutely had a gold chain on the Thriller album cover. There have been several times I put a riff into a song that I had been singing in my head since childhood. Riffs I was sure came from songs that now, never existed by the bands they supposedly came from. I don’t recall that part in Exodus but I haven’t actually read the entire bible. Dude, ninja turtles NEVER had those two weird characters. I watched that shit all the time as a kid.
I've absolutely never heard of Wingnut and Screwloose. That could have been after my time with the show, but what I do remember are Bebop and Rocksteady. But really, unless Wingnut and Screwloose showed up in the later parts of the show, I feel like I should have some memory of them. That's literally my whole thing. I remember weird little things like that.
The emoji one , I never used the hiker or traffic cone one but thought they might exist (don't use emojis much) but the rest of them I don't think I've ever seen them
Yeah about Chucky, you forgot to mention the Seed of Chucky with Jennifer Tilly. "Till" just sounds like a misremember of that actress. I was one of the few that hated dolls because of that as a kid I was terrified of them. People now adays seem more like dolls, lifeless, motionless and just seems to lay there staring at nothing. I was not old enough yet for some of the scarier movies and when I was, movies that were scarry as a kid were too dated if you know what I mean by the time I saw them. I like horror as a genera and stuff which is why I take a liking to this kind of this and the macabre. What freaks me out is how much people are forgetting because of technology, things like Link Rot that is actually slowly but surely killing off the Internet and there is nothing that we can do about it not even the great Way Back Machine is immune. Edit: The missing emoji thing. A very famous program and app uses the orange traffic cone with the white rings on it as its logo, is that why this reminds me of zoomers today on the internet with a short attention span and an even shorter memory describe everyday objects being mind blowing. Also the Freddy sweater, there is a Rick and Morty episode that depicts scary Terry as a dream thing. Maybe people misremember that? Nothing on you mate or your reading but I don't know why people are so freaked out about things like this when they have bad memory and also when Link Rot is erasing everything, corporations are rebranding themselves with "simplified" logos, the greed that goes on creating this almost cyberpunk like era and a disconnect from reality. From game companies not understanding the product they sell and why people like them, to others being so corrupt they sell a bare bones game and still make millions on a, empty promise. It is the big spending whales that tell others that they are poor when they themselves are in that hundred thousand dollar debt, support them and their bad habits too.
For the bible one! There is several translations of The Bible from different authors and from seperate eras in time. Meaning what could be true for one interpretation of the Bible might be false from another
Yeah, I personally never remembered the traffic cone emoji being a thing. Most people, if they wanted to warn people about something online, often used 🚨or something like that. Whoever thought there was a traffic cone emoji is most likely remembering the icon for VLC Player.

The Mandela Effect can be expanded. Digital manipulation.
So the feature definitely existed on bedrock for sure, but that leaves me wondering how so many people who grew up on Java remember this feature.
couldn’t this just be a patch/update and not a mendala effect?
@@alyx5979 Yeah I'd have to agree considering even to this day bedrock and java have such small differences with the littlest things. It is weird that people on java would remember this as well because I also played java frequently since bedrock didn't release till 2012, and I can't 100% say that it used to pop out as well on there. These Mandela effects are messing with me man 🤣😂
@@_frogerino You can go back to old patches. Not to mention there would be tons of videos of this on TH-cam if it was simply a patch
I remember that too but the Xbox 360 edition is called legacy edition its different to bedrock

Back when I was like 9 or 10, I watched the animated movie The Prince Of Egypt for the first time at a friends house, and I strictly remember the movie featuring a scene towards the end where the Israelites build the golden calf. And I strictly remember Miriam telling Arran "God will forgive you" before he desires to build the calf. I rewatched the movie recently, and turns out THE LINE AND NOT EVEN THE GOLDEN CALF ARE IN THE MOVIE AT ALL! I was literally

ME TOO! I rewatched the movie a while ago and remember finishing it and feeling like something was missing. And I know I’m not mixing it up with the hand escaping the door earlier in the movie, I DO remember the hand somehow getting out of the well. This is so weird lol
I remember the hand but no key. Strange
What's crazy I remember it as well!! Because in my I thought there was going to be a sequel when I watched it back in 2009
Should form a group with other people who remember the scene and have each of you draw or recreate the scene from memory. It would be interesting to see the similarities.
I remember the weird spider hand crawling out but i do not remember the key
How could it stand AND hold the key if it’s like a spider
Okay as someone who is low key obsessed with the live action cat in the hat I remember it as “I’ll get you and it’ll look like a bloody accident”. Like I didn’t even know that people thought the line was something different

I’ve watched that movie over 20 times and because of this comment I’m gonna watch it again, and yeah that’s always been the line!
Me too lmao I'd quote it constantly lmao
I think the Freddy one stems from the fact that the green is really dark and probably looks black in the dark. Plus the remake Freddy’s sweater is black and red .
No its not its litteraly green my guy the reason why is because people see different colours its just an optical illusion i never saw black only green
It looks black because of a lighting effect
Obviously when I was younger I thought is was pure black I made an entire Minecraft statue of horror movie character because I liked them at the time and his stripes were black I'm not a horror movie fan anymore I never watched much of the movies fully only a few scenes on TH-cam I stopped liking horror because scary stuff stopped being scary and over time I can tell is was light green stripes

@@iris1568 But you can go back to the old MC versions and check it for yourself. Even the version where jukebox was first added doesn't do that....

I always remember the actress
Yeah, I remember it being Will dressed as an old lady too. Although, it could be that the actress kind of looks like Will if you don't look at her long and that's why. That, paired with the fact that she isn't on screen long AND the fact that Will is that one who says the line could contribute to our big misremembering!
I love discussing the Mandela Effect; I can’t get enough of it!
I don't remember asking

I too remember the ending. You’re not the only one.
That's not the ending???
@@Lolaloveslemons i think the last half of the original comment is right, he woke her up and walked off to take her home but before the video ended he turned around and the laugh played but i think this all took place in a house instead of a movie theater
No thats definitely right, except its in a living room and hes not in the toilet. But I just watched the neding and michael jackson taps her on the shoulder, offers to take her home, and then looks around revealing yellow eyes and the laugh plays.
I remember 2 different ones lol

I remember coraline being very different
“And it’ll look like a bloody accident” is actually one of my favorite scenes in the movie
It's 2:30 am right now . Best video to watch and then go to sleep , you
have a calming voice
When you look at Michael Jackson face on the album cover, in the corner of your eye the light reflecting off of those two little grooves between his neck and chest kinda looks like the end of a chain which is probably where that Mandela effect comes from
Years ago, I remember watching a TH-cam commentary video reacting to an anti-bullying video where it had a character called Bony Tony who was bullied for being skinny. I’ve been searching for 6 years and I cannot find a single trace of it at all
Maybe it's deleted or privated or you don't use the right search terms
Now that’s a case for lost media.
In my memory I dont recall a key, but I do recall it crawling up the well, resting on the ledge for a second then hopping into the deep thick mist

I remember it too, and I think in all likeliness it was just something that slipped past developers and/or the people who write update logs.
I always heard “to the end” it just makes more sense
Perhaps its time to create a script and make some phone calls?
The Gingy spooky story was me and my moms favorite and i remember this scene like i watched it 5 minutes ago she definitely said "Is this good enough for you, Gingy?"
EDIT: After rewatching "Bride of Gingy" Sugar says "Maybe I'm not pretty enough. I can be pretty... really pretty! The girl of your dreams." instead of "Maybe I'm not pretty enough. *smearing icing on her face* is this good enough for you, Gingy?" like i remember
After smearing makeup I definitely remember her saying "Girl of your dreams".
She did say that and it’s still there
The traffic cone emoji could be something to do with vlc media player
That's actually exactly what I was thinking too.
That sounds more like a glitch in the matrix
you probably just had a dream where you read a really good comic and never placed it as a dream in your memories
What was the comic about?
@@LoveandStargirl they said they don't remember what it was about-
@@MissMacabreVR I'm sorry, I guess I didn't read that part when I commented
The traffic cone is from some media player. I can't remember the name but I used it all the time as a kid.
VLC Media Player
I remember using the traffic cone emoji on Discord?!
Wildest Mandela Effect: I didn’t remember Book of Valis having a post lined up today but he did!! Calling it a Valis Effect fr
8:25 the discs did pop out they probably were on an old version
I can't explain how much I love these kinds of videos. keep it up!
This video really tripped me out, and as Cat in the Hat is one of my favorite childhood movies, I remember him saying Ill cut your tail... crazy
I think I watched Child's Play 2 once, but boy howdy, did Chucky mess me up as a kid
I still hate dolls till this day
to*
I used to be terrified of Chucky as a kid and refused to see the movies. As I grew up I grew a bit of fondness for the first two.
In Poland the show is called "Flinstonowie" so that's why we searched it up the most
Tak haha
The album cover changes does happen though. It's also the same with the Slipknot debut, one of the members had a purple plume at the top of their masks, but on later releases it dissapeared from the artwork.
I'm in an introvert FB group, whenever someone would start confusing their shyness with being an introvert I would tell them that's not what the dictionary says an introvert is, until recently all of a sudden dictionaries started describing introverts as a shy person, I was so shocked that I literally froze staring at the screen like for five minutes lol
What do you think introvert means?
@@squizzo5809 Someone who is happy being alone.
@@kalasatwater2224 Yep, that's what introvert means so I don't see what your issue is here.
Your vid intro and production overall has gone far up! I love this vid keep up the Mandela Effects!
Here from Raymundo 2112. You guys work rly well together and should collaborate more!! I'd love to see him on one of these list type videos
It's the way that Chucky is saying "To" that makes it sound like he's saying "Till".
The Flintstones one irritates me because "Flinstones" makes no sense. Flint is a type of rock that was widely used by early man so it just makes sense in the title of a prehistoric cartoon. That guy was either just wrong or trolling.
Weird. I remember Chucky's catchphrase just being "Hi, I'm Chucky!"
Also I heard of Vampire being in one translation of The Bible. It went like this. "The vampire has two daughters. 'Give! Give!' they cry."
I looked it up and it's "The leech has two daughters. 'Give! Give!' they cry."
I thought it was more more 🤣
Wingnut and screenloose only appeared in one episode so I could understand forgetting about them and the toy
I remember a scene like this and now I am racking my brain trying to also remember what it’s from now
I remember watching Coraline for the first time and being worried that the hand would pop out of the well. Luckily, it never happened.
The coralline one might be really really recent cause I remember the scene from when I rewatched it in august
Yeah I was shocked as well. I watched it a year ago for an essay and I was shocked when it didn't exist. I even remember writing a line in the essay saying " It's better to destroy the key to your past to move forward in life" which refers to the scene that somehow doesn't exist.
As for the missing emojis, these "missing" emojis appeared after bitlife held a massive mobile ad campaign that used these fake emojis.
man you vids are always awesome, u have a soothing voice, and the topics are neat. please can i do more proved a d disproved conspiracies. thank you, keep up the great work !
I love your vids keep it up!
I remember worrying about the discs despawning too, this one is pretty weird
The World Trade Center is the the weirdest lmao. Like some people didn't know that there was 7 buildings? 😂
Yeah i dont think gods name is actually jealous because in the story of the burning bush he says his name is Yahweh meaning “I am”.
I agree with you except I know that shit said Bernstein Bears. Idc I had the book!
True but no way ur brain can make u remember sum shit that was never there like the fruit of the loom mandela
I remember the burglar/robber Emoji it's weird to think that one never existed
@@sonicfanboy3375 It's possible they just removed it...
@@jakeblitzcoffie4859 If they removed the emoji It'd be documented somewhere
@@sonicfanboy3375 and screenshots when you Google “robber emoji”.. and there would be some type of website talking about how/why they removed emojis
i think when i was younger i remember having the thought "how did she get her hand back together?" but i dont visually remember anything, i also watched on dvd and maybe ill go find it and look through it
Here's a weird one.
Batman meant to save Rachel
No I’m pretty sure Joker switched the addresses.
Wingnut and screwloose actually exist since they made an appearance in the 2012 reboot
In the first child’s play when chucky is about to be burned he says “wait Andy no! I’m your friend till the end remember?” Andy says “this is the end friend”
Edit : rewatched the scene I was wrong it is friends TO the end not Till.
I’ve seen cat in the hat countless times and it’s always been “I’ll get you and I’ll make it look like a bloody accident!”
The chucky one makes sense, it does kinda sound like till even if you see the scene knowing it says too
the reason why people hear “til” is because it sounds similar to, “to” (this is for chucky btw)
For the breaking bad one, in Malcom in the middle they referenced breaking bad and when Bryan Cranston mentions Jesse, he says he always said ”yay science b***h”.people must be remembering that instead but it’s still weird he never said that in breaking bad
possibly..
There’s videos from 13 years ago back in 2009 titled “yeah mr. white, yeah science”. People are most likely misquoting it due to the “Yeah Science Bitch” meme that was all over the internet in the early 2010’s
its not really 'in' malcolm since its just a little gag they did and its only on youtube
I've been part of the Church for a while, and I can confidently say that the passage saying God's name is jealous is just a translation niche, and the passage is just saying that God should be praised above all else. God does have a name, though; the Hebrew word Yahweh.
I'm one of those weirdos who also loves Cat in the Hat! Lol 🙌🏻
Discs do pop out on the 360 version, not on toher versions tho
@@ninbendoyt3203 Double mandela effect
Whoever’s reading this remember God loves you very much!
8:51 i remember it like this
I've absolutely never heard of Wingnut and Screwloose. That could have been after my time with the show, but what I do remember are Bebop and Rocksteady. But really, unless Wingnut and Screwloose showed up in the later parts of the show, I feel like I should have some memory of them. That's literally my whole thing. I remember weird little things like that.
They were in tmnt 2012 but I don’t remember seeing them And I watched most of the seasons
I can confirm they are in the 80's cartoon
Meaning what could be true for one interpretation of the Bible might be false from another
Debt and debtors still blows my mind, though.
Yeah, I personally never remembered the traffic cone emoji being a thing. Most people, if they wanted to warn people about something online, often used 🚨or something like that. Whoever thought there was a traffic cone emoji is most likely remembering the icon for VLC Player.
