sure, that's a game made in the mid 2000s, and this is a game made in 2018. It takes a lot longer to animate each moveset for each character, with finishers and ultimates that look good in dragon ball fighterz, than in a game made in 2000s, which explains the much larger roster pool Bodukai Tenkaichi had.

Yeah, over 100 players but only about 20 playstyles, almost all the characters were just reckons with no variation in gameplay, this has over 40 unique characters with unique animations and gameplay styles, stop bitching
English voice actor for Goku had to do voices for 8 characters because their the same. The Japanese voice actress for Goku had to do voices for 13 CHARACTERS because their the same plus voicing other characters with the same voice. Geez give her a break.

I think the main reason that Dragon Ball FighterZ has less characters and smaller roster than Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is that they focused in adding the most popular characters n choose to add the quality over quantity of the characters of DBZ besides most of the villains are dead anyways
Given the crazy price they're charging for this game with all the characters, it should have quality AND QUANTITY. Dragon Ball Sparking Zero will kill this game soon.
A lot of the characters may be alternative forms of Goku and Vegeta but I’d say they really nailed this roster in the long run, we may not have Dbs heroes characters like beast gohan or even Good Majin android 21 but they really chose quality over quantity it’s not like Xv2 where it feels like WAY to many characters

All in all this game's roster feels like a best of the Dragon Ball Franchise and that's what's cool about it even though they're missing Omega Shenron.

You unlock 3 of the characters the rest is dlc ssgss vegeta and goku can be unlocked via hard arcade mode or zeni. Android 21 if you beat the trash story mode and everyone else who is grayed out is dlc. SMH 😔

In the middle between Gogeta 4, Super Saiyan Vegeta, Cell and Lab Coat Android 21, I'd put Omega Shenron. On the top right side, I'd put Toppo, Caulifla with Kale, one of the DBS Superhero Movie Characters, OG73 Absorbed Moro, Ribrianne with Kakunsa and Rozie, Strongest Warrior Gas and Bergamo with Basil and Lavender. Seven on the top of each side and one in the center to even the select screen out 'cause the select screen looks unfinished and too uneven.

Odeio quando eles colocam o mesmo personagem na lista apenas com uma transformação diferente. Parece que faz isso para o jogo ter mais personagens. O certo seria escolher o Goku e na seleção de cores de uniforme do personagem tivesse em baixo a transformação que vc quer jogar .
One of the worst Dragon Ball games. It forces the player to choose a 3x3 team, you can't transform, there are few characters(Mostly DBS-focused), and most are "popular" characters, just to sell more and have less effort to create a roster with at least 100 characters.Who would have thought that the day when we'd have to pay for DLC to play as base Goku would come? And not include Raditz but Videl? This game is a joke! Low effort cash grab!
Well it isnt a 3d arena fighter which means every character is (more) unique! The 3v3 thing is annoying (although you can fight 1v1 just with too little health) bzt videl is just as valid as radditz both are relavant for the beginning of their arcs but videl stays in the story!

Odeio quando eles colocam o mesmo personagem na lista apenas com uma transformação diferente. Parece que faz isso para o jogo ter mais personagens.
O certo seria escolher o Goku e na seleção de cores de uniforme do personagem tivesse em baixo a transformação que vc quer jogar .

What Is The Backround Music?
One of the worst Dragon Ball games. It forces the player to choose a 3x3 team, you can't transform, there are few characters(Mostly DBS-focused), and most are "popular" characters, just to sell more and have less effort to create a roster with at least 100 characters.Who would have thought that the day when we'd have to pay for DLC to play as base Goku would come? And not include Raditz but Videl? This game is a joke! Low effort cash grab!
Well it isnt a 3d arena fighter which means every character is (more) unique! The 3v3 thing is annoying (although you can fight 1v1 just with too little health) bzt videl is just as valid as radditz both are relavant for the beginning of their arcs but videl stays in the story!

This game is the worst DB game in my opinion (few characters, much DLC, no transformation which is the most basic mechanic that a DB game should have, awful story mode etc. ) But is a pretty good competitive fighting game
It's a great game in terms of gameplay, the best of an anime game, but its price is not worth what it offers, it's a great steal being a DBZ MvC
