Pain is the best villain in the entire series. He killed Jiraiya and Kakashi who were probably two of the five most loved characters in Naruto at the time, and also killed Hinata. Kishimoto gave us a BIG FUCK IN THE ASS by showing how pathetic and wimpy Nagato was though, and he freaking revived the whole Leaf village which basically canceled out everything he has done.

He never really lost he got it by a jutsu that turned him into Kaguya and see lost. He was never at full power to he was missing 40% of the nine tails power that as much Naruto basically fought the whole war with. I know they said Kaguya had 4 times as much chakra Madara but he was more skilled then her and a better fighter and I think that would have made the difference.
Madara lived for over 200 years , narutos generation is just like 90s people today , and borutos generation is year like 2018 , Madara lived in 19th century
