Remember even Rakim was signed to Aftermath. And even Eve was signed to Aftermath both had to get off the label. Eve did well since joining Ruff Ryders after. Rakim finally was able to release The Seventh Seal. There are so many artists that were signed to Aftermath.

After that LP, they became more of a regional taste. I always followed they music (to a certain point), but that mainstream look didn't last long. Fredro Starr was a hothead.
