The authorities in charge of the migration in Nigeria should investigate the allegations tabled by the deportees. Hopefully they can come to terms with the Turkish immigration authority concerning the expired visas, residential permit renewal and irregular immigration.

I lived in Turkey for over 8 years and I can tell you that the reason why those guys stayed up to 11 months in detention is because they refused to buy their return tickets. They were not drugged, they were looking confused because they were thinking Turkey will get tired of them and release them with a document that says 'You have 2 months to leave Turkey'. These guys that cannot buy their own return ticket have no valuables. Even if they have valuables, their would have called their friends to safe keep them. I can guarantee you that those guys do not have residence permit. Turkey did not deport them because they were blacks or Nigeria. They were deported for being undocumented. In 2010, The turkish police stopped me and some Turkish guys, they asked the Turkish guys for their ID, they ran their ID's on their computers to check, they never asked me for passport, they asked me where I am from, when I mentioned Nigeria, they said Babangida, Okocha, Amokachi. Please get your facts right before talking rubbish.
