indeed JEREMY LIN, is the very first asian to conquer the NBA world from taiwan, since MING of China, he is very amazing, agood player indeed.....who in the other hand contributed so much to his team, congratulations JEREMY, you are a LEGEND IN NEW YORK....
Any owner who can let go a player who brought you this much excitement and money and above all WINS, has to have his head examined. This guy fell on our laps from heaven, for nothing, he did all this on $100k dollars a year. Then instead of offering a contract immediately that Lin had to accept no matter what, lets him go to Houston for nothing. James Dolan finally has hired a brilliant mind like Phil Jackson, but Jeremy was special to watch. He shines in big moments and finds a way to win if you give him the chance. Driving to the basket, pick and rolls, making others play well are his strengths. Letting Jeremy Lin go after what he accomplished in NY has to be the BIGGEST DEBACLE in business and sports in the history of NY.
watching lin and all the excitement from himself, the fans, and his teammates just makes me so happy. the NBA misses you lin, can't wait to see you this season
I've been rewatching Melo's games with Lin since itbecame well known that Melo disliked playing second fiddle. Notice how Melo continues to pass the ball to Lin even when Lin isn't making the outside shot Melo even passed the ball to Lin when time was running out even though on all the passes Melo had a good look at the rim. Lin felt so bad about his outside shot that he drove on the basket, Melo is a real bastard of a player and teammate.
Good thing D'Antoni gave Lin, the bench warmer at the time, the freedom to play his position. If McHale was the coach, Linsanity will not happen. Love that Clyde the Glide Frazier, not so much the other Clyde. Now coming off the bench again in Houston, Lin scored a triple-douple under 30 minutes, only two others did that in the NBA. What a nice way to start out February again.
Who is Clyde the Glide Frazier? I've heard of Clyde The Glide Drexler. I've also heard of Walt "Clyde" Frazier, legendary point guard of the New York Knicks. But I've never heard of Clyde The Glide Frazier. Walt Frazier was never known as "The Glide".
KJam206 After High School, no college gave him a scholarship. Plays basketball for Harvard, goes undrafted. Bounces around for a bit and has to sleep on his friends couch. By mere chance, all the Knicks PGs are down and his number get called. Scores 25 pts and gets the win. Followed by a 7 game win streak. The rest is history.
I really regret not being in the Linsanity faze last year with everyone. I really missed out on such a tremendous underdog story. So much excitement I missed out on. Very inspirational man. =(
From a TWolves fan i'll truly miss watching him play for the Knicks. Not only because it was a great and exciting story. But because what he did for the Asian community in America. They really got behind him as you could see throughout this run the amount of Asian people with Lin signs at MSG. Never seen so many Asian people at the Y playing basketball before all this happened. It was great to see and I hope he can keep this going in Houston and I hope we see more Asian Americans in the NBA.
Mike Breen is one of the best commentators in televised basketball. Remember, most fans didn't think Jeremy Lin would continue to play at a high level even after this game. Breen's awe is the same.
Frankly speaking, this is not just about bball playing, it's about the will and spirit for an underdog who can excel under pressure! We as an ordinary human being in a hard time should learn from Jeremy's story. I think that's all we can get from this game!
last allstar voting. jeremy became the 2nd PG at west who got the highest votes but they didn't pick him to play for the allstar game. at present jeremy is the 3rd most vote at west for PG position. 4th after kobe, curry, cp3, he had higher votes than harden. i think they should pick him as a star because thats what most people wanted. jeremy, harden, howard should be allstar players this year.
"doesn't even stand a chance..." even though the commentator took it back it's disrespectful that he said that before d will even shot the ball. Don't pity Kobe's achilles, Melo's team, or KD's ringless career before Lin.
Did you completely forget about Yao Ming? Since he started playing for the Rockets is when the Asian community started to come out and show support for the game. Toyota Center serves chinese food at all the games and it has been like that since the early 2000's.Jeremy Lin couldnt come to any other city but Houston. The torch is his now since Yao is retired.Lin is definately the new star for the current generation of Asians fascinated with the sport of basketball.i do agree with you tho, just sayin
jeremy lin is the first normal looking asian person to play in the nba. alot of younger asian american kids relate alot more with jeremy then they ever would with yao.
Its really funny how BAD Lin seems in this particular game...then just watch the last few games he's had as a Rocket. Dude has developed very well as a point guard.
@Patrock96 Actually, I'm 18 and a half and I just got accepted to Carnegie Mellon a few weeks ago. Top 2 in the nation for computer sciences, top 5 for design too. Considering I plan on majoring in graphic design/3d animation, I think I'm set. And you? Freshman in high school, please.
Great game for Lin, he showed some serious confidence. Funny how the announcer was talking as if Lin is the biggest scrub in the league "he doesn't stand a chance" "He looks completely spent" lol Good job Lin.
everybody loves a underdog. Lebron got this type of attention his rookie year. Not everybody expects him to do it. If he posts a monster game people would just think hes doing his job
I know he's only slightly above league-average at this point, but I'm gonna miss this guy so fucking much. I really hope Felton is the answer at PG this year.
In the 4th quarter his mentality was, Attack...Attack...Attack...Attack...Attack... Physical player, I'm anxious to see what else he can do, hasn't had much minutes in the NBA.
He didn't say Douglas had better stats, he said he was a better defender, scorer, player... All that has NOTHING to do with stats now OR at that time. And NO they don't have esp so they shouldn't be making STUPID remarks about a player they have no idea about other than he came off the bench. This is the NBA. Players get there for a reason. All I'm saying is that commentators need to stick to comments and facts and LIKE Douglas having better stats and NOT making assumptions.
U must be mistaken because Mike only sounded astonished at the beginning, not by lin's skill but lin's application of skill. Everyone knows nba players can ball, its just how aggressive are they allowed to be. Mike's astonish words and tone all practically disappears half way thru the video.
Yao wasn't American though. I believe that there would be a different kind of connection to Lin for Asian Americans. Also being great in NY is different then being great in Houston. Lin brought a lot of great attention to Asian people in America during that run. While the torch has been passed I wish the Knicks would of brought him back because seeing the national media talk about a great Asian American Basketball player would of been great.Unfortunately they only pay attention to big city teams.
@O2JAMRULEZ Sure he is. He said that Douglas is better defender, scorer and most of all better player. LOL. He works for Knicks, he should be getting walking paper pretty soon.
Lebron does get respect. You are right about him averaging such numbers for a career and thats why many consider him to be the best in tthe league. However, he was expected to be a star but lin was not and thats why he gets more attention during that time
An unexpected gift making basketball at MSG exciting again. It brought in ex Kincks fans once more who had given up on the them years ago. It brought in the general public who had not paid attention to any basketball games including the NBA playoffs. Knicks were on a roll, the center of attention, with MSG stock value going through the roof on the order of $100 million. It was easy to make Lin an offer and keep him forever as a Knicks and then Dolen throw it away and got nothing in return.
if jeremy doesnt stay with the knicks i want him to go to toronto to play with landry fieds, steve novak and jared jeffries or he can go to Dallas play with Dirk (and have a good chance to win a ring but he has alot of time for that so there is no worriesa bout winning rings)
well i cant say i was one of those people that knew, but there were many people that were following him, watched him play in harvard, in the summer league, golden state, and in the d league and had a pretty dam good idea of how good he was before this happened, so maybe you shouldnt project the shortsightedness of most on to everybody
Damn, Jeremy Lin embarrassed D. Williams that night. Williams couldn't even guard Lin. Took him to the basket at will. No wonder D Williams was pretty much scoreless after Jeremy was in. He felt ashamed to be schooled by a guy he has never heard of.
never get tired of watching this one
indeed JEREMY LIN, is the very first asian to conquer the NBA world from taiwan, since MING of China, he is very amazing, agood player indeed.....who in the other hand contributed so much to his team, congratulations JEREMY, you are a LEGEND IN NEW YORK....

I've watched this literally 8 times no joke i've counted.. it never gets boring
watching lin and all the excitement from himself, the fans, and his teammates just makes me so happy. the NBA misses you lin, can't wait to see you this season

people didn't even look at him at the very beginning
like ur work man. much more complete than just those highlight clips
It's always fun watching this video.. ahhh memories. We love you Lin!
Love to see this next year again.... Soo much hype for Jeremy Lin.
謝謝你每場都努力上傳,我很依賴你的影片喔!謝謝~

9:13 "That's his number!" LOL
His story is what movies are made of.
Dud at one point he misses like 8 straight shots. Not exactly Hollywood material.
@@GOHST13ly damnnn
Ah, the good old days ;)
wow what a game by Lin! hope to see more of this guy!
*When the Knicks were actually good*
I really regret not being in the Linsanity faze last year with everyone. I really missed out on such a tremendous underdog story. So much excitement I missed out on. Very inspirational man. =(

happy one year anniversary, linsanity!

that whole Jeremy Lin's run when he first started for the Knicks was magical.... hope he'll keep getting better.
So inspirational
Good Luck in Houston we loved you here
Cant wait for next season...
Thank you. Us die-hard fans knew it all along. First against my Celtics, and now this. He had me screaming and crying last night lol.
I tear up everytime.
good new days are coming with the lakers!
JEREMY IS BACK
Always love it when someone hits a 3 and Breen says "BANG"
last allstar voting. jeremy became the 2nd PG at west who got the highest votes but they didn't pick him to play for the allstar game. at present jeremy is the 3rd most vote at west for PG position. 4th after kobe, curry, cp3, he had higher votes than harden. i think they should pick him as a star because thats what most people wanted. jeremy, harden, howard should be allstar players this year.

love this game!!
i remember watching this game getting so mad at jeremy because i am a nets fan even though i was a fan of him he reps asians...but it was bitter sweet
Did you completely forget about Yao Ming? Since he started playing for the Rockets is when the Asian community started to come out and show support for the game. what's that song at 4:41 in the background, it's got a very nice vibe, just let me know if anyone knows, kind of need that song
jeremy lin is the first normal looking asian person to play in the nba. alot of younger asian american kids relate alot more with jeremy then they ever would with yao.
Its really funny how BAD Lin seems in this particular game...then just watch the last few games he's had as a Rocket. Dude has developed very well as a point guard.
we want Lin Back!
@590221010 so did D'Antoni! I love seeing the bench's reactions after his plays.
where it all started!!!!
it is obvious that lin was much comfortable with the bench players because he had more experiences with them ( D-League).
they reversed the call a second time at 5:20 because he's an honest player!!! love this guy!!
“Jermey Lin doesn’t stand a chance.” The announcers didn’t even let him get his feet set 😂
@robin212212 Lin averaged over 1 SPG in around 9 MPG on the Warriors last seasons. Top 2 in the NBA in SPG per 36 last year I believe.
Great game for Lin, he showed some serious confidence. Funny how the announcer was talking as if Lin is the biggest scrub in the league "he doesn't stand a chance" "He looks completely spent" lol Good job Lin.
Can someone please tell me the sick grooves that are played @ 2:27 and @ 3:29?
Thank you.
Thank you...that's a jam!!!
everybody loves a underdog. Lebron got this type of attention his rookie year. Not everybody expects him to do it. If he posts a monster game people would just think hes doing his job
Your welcome my dude. Real Hip Hop for life.
Tim Tebow. He is a Filipino Citizen.
So humble
i love his euro step at 9:57 , even he knew it was his night.. The team got hyped and everything haha
hahah killerecho's "he sounds like he just saw a unicorn or something". HAHAHAHA 5 months later Im laughing my ass off revisiting Lin's breakout game!
@O2JAMRULEZ he also said J didn't stand a chance then he had to take it right back after the good defence
LOL @ 9:12 "ohh thats his numbeerr~" lol makes me laugh every time
WAS YI JIAN LIAN NOT IN THE LINE-UP FOR THE NETS??????
RIP
Toney Douglas's Playing Time
2-4-12
He didn't say Douglas had better stats, he said he was a better defender, scorer, player... All that has NOTHING to do with stats now OR at that time. shortage of shooting stability is very obvious.
@BronzeMechX Thanks!
@djpak1 Did you mean "alley hoops" from Lin? Or is it a mistype?
Funny how the announcers at the beginning said Douglas is a better defender, better player. Well, so much for that comment.
Happy Lin-a-versary!!!!!!!!!!!!!
is that kevjumba at 12:38.?
I'm just trying to re-live Linsanity before it's all over this summer :(
vote for lin for the allstar game
11:48 the perfect music for the crossover + the and 1
i don't think yi was on the nets anymore, pretty sure he was with the mavericks
Yao wasn't American though. I believe that there would be a different kind of connection to Lin for Asian Americans. Also being great in NY is different then being great in Houston. @O2JAMRULEZ Sure he is. He said that Douglas is better defender, scorer and most of all better player. LOL. He works for Knicks, he should be getting walking paper pretty soon.
Um no? He was already at the Mavericks at this time, do your research first before commenting..
so freaking modest
Lebron does get respect. You are right about him averaging such numbers for a career and thats why many consider him to be the best in tthe league. However, he was expected to be a star but lin was not and thats why he gets more attention during that time
@master0909 Power - Kanye West I believe.

Agreed...on top of that...he put lin down before giving him the initial chance..."lin has no chance guarding him"
Melo didn’t give him love at the end with the group.
if jeremy doesnt stay with the knicks i want him to go to toronto to play with landry fieds, steve novak and jared jeffries or he can go to Dallas play with Dirk (and have a good chance to win a ring but he has alot of time for that so there is no worriesa bout winning rings)
9:57 - 10:02 This is my absolute favorite drive!!
all lins shots are misses?
Anybody know the song at 11:50?
well i cant say i was one of those people that knew, but there were many people that were following him, watched him play in harvard, in the summer league, golden state, and in the d league and had a pretty dam good idea of how good he was before this happened, so maybe you shouldnt project the shortsightedness of most on to everybody
Do you know the title of the music?
I love how the Commentator keeps talking shit about him in the beginning.. I wonder how he felt after that week.
JEREEMMMYYYYYYY LINN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
12:40 LOL @ Jeremy's eyes in that drawing. They're lines.
Agree with you
what is that song 11:55?
Lin!!
Baby come back!
I'm not old enough to do anything when I go to the NBA than you will see
Damn, Jeremy Lin embarrassed D. Williams that night. Williams couldn't even guard Lin. Took him to the basket at will.
No wonder D Williams was pretty much scoreless after Jeremy was in. He felt ashamed to be schooled by a guy he has never heard of.
I have to say. Melo definitely hated the fact that Jeremy brought more fans and excitement to New York. even though he was the much better player.
