My worst nightmare. Being in that room, there's an earthquake and now you're trapped under rubble and all the little cages are open.
😂😂😂😂
I would be worried for the safety of all my pets 😢
When it disappeared in the bark, it looked like a running roller coaster.
I thought that to 😂😂
Had you been a teacher of mine in school, I feel i would've learned much more :) thanks as always for the fascinating content Dave & Co.
Couldn’t agree more
Love watching your videos so educational just loaded with so much information and so much more. And camera Lady does a very professional. Job as well. (The David Attenborough of You Tube)
🥰🙌
I was just thinking in the previous video I’d watched (with the centipede that had mites) that if Dave had been a teacher of mine in school I’d have learned more in science and might have changed career paths.
Too true. I'm one of those people being educated by these vids and this is so much better than someone trying to mess with them with one hand squeaking "ooh what have I done oh my god it's gone wrong".....prob a bit over the top but THERE YOU GO....
One of our guinea pigs, Ginny, enjoys watching your spider videos!
That’s adorable!
Scolopendra are tough as tanks and fast as race cars
I'll admire them from a different planet thank you
This comment is quite late at this point, but I just wanted to bring attention to the tiny pill millipede that was under the mossy bark you showed off to the camera. Such a cute little creature.
They scare the life out of me but as always your calm, tranquil demeanour is so impressive.
They are not so bad 😂👍
15:38 look at the speed at which this beast went into the trunk.
In my opinion, these guys are just the ultimate killers in the animal kingdom all proportions kept : they're incredibly fast, they can swim, they have a super potent poison, they're extremely hard to kill, they're super powerful, yada yada yada...there's no animal out there that's as scary as them in my opinion. Even Goliath Bird eaters seem easy to deal with compared to a scolopendra gigantae for example.
Thats a really really nice looking centipede dave n camera lady very nice im certainly after having one to add to my tarantula collection 👍
'No matter what happens we must remain calm' best advice. I try to follow that when rehoming some of my more spunkier tarantulas but it's easier said than done 😅
You are one-of-a-kind Dave!
Keep it up, I’ll be here when your channel hits 100k subs!
Ah brilliant video Dave, informative and very enjoyable, beautiful centipede and a lovely gesture for the little fella in New Zealand, super job as usual by yourself and camera lady.
Thanks George he was well pleased 😂👍
I think this is a very scary creature, fast too! It gives me the chills but i'm still interested to look on your video...so i guess I'm a bit curious to learn more about the beasty...🐛 too! Thank you so very much David and the Camera Lady! Have a nice end of the week and weekend, Susanne. 👋😊🥰🤗
Thanks Susanne they are pretty cool once you get to know them ❤️👍
@@daveslittlebeasties 👋😊🐛 Perhaps they are but I'm not so cool as the centipede! It's fascinating learning something about them though that's for sure. I'm happy we have small diffrent ones in Sweden who can't hurt us...puh! I don't mind those larger non venomous centipedes...those big black giant centipedes from Africa. Some time back i read about a new find of cetipede ( in the Mekong region or deltha) a bright red cetipede who was deadly and produced pure cyanide.😱☠ www.expressen.se/nyheter/nya-arter-upptackta-i-sydostasien/ I found the article about it in the Swedish newspaper Expressen. It was published on December 15th 2008. They also talked about in the same article about finding ( in Laos ) the world's biggest hunting spider 🕷 with a leg span of 30 cm. You can see in the photos to after the red cetipede.
Watching that was awesome, you didn't jump or even swear when it started moving erratically. I'm super impressed, another awesome video Dave.
Thank you my friend 😂👍
I normally cant stand spiders, arachnophob, but watching you work and explain them has been really fasanating, and has given me a bit of respect for them. Keep up the great work.
Awesome, thank you!❤️👍
I am still making peace with the house centipede that lives by my front door. I don't know if I will ever be ready to keep one of these, although I find it quite fascinating. I love that a little 4 year old boy in New Zealand is a fan.
First time here, thank you for all te information! Subscribing
Welcome my friend ❤️👍
as usual PROFF the cool calm collected way you attend to your animals is amazing, the information on the centipede was brilliant . magic as usual camera lady. thanks for sharing
Thanks Graeme ❤️👍
Perfect timing for this video, I just got one of these
This is one of the few animals that scares me.
But I love them.
You handled him? so effortlessly.
I noticed you added some more space and enclosures behind you. Nice! I look forward to seeing what you put in all of those.
Here for every post and can’t wait for the next
You've done it once again great video Dave and Camera lady I've always been scared of centipedes but you made me see how fascinating they actually are love the channel.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your young viewer in New Zealand has got to be 6 by now.... Growing up with Dave!
Great video dave! You Are really great with your animals a true master in his prime! Much love from Denmark. Cant wait for the next video!
Thanks for supporting our channel ❤️👍
I'm listening and hearing everything but in the back of my mind i just hear Clint from Clint's reptiles going "Toxicognaths"
I dislike bugs and even moreso spiders! So I watch videos like yours to "train" myself to dislike them less ^^. And yes this comment is for the YT algorythm mostly =). Keep up your great work Dave.
The thing I noticed is how calm you always are. No sudden movements and you beasties stay relatively still. Very good man!!
"wild native British woodlice" complete with tiny monocles and top hats! great vid Dave, she's a beauty!
This needs to be a t shirt design
I'm suprised how when they woke up, I found myself thinking "oh, cute!"
I had a teacher that gave me a spider to take care of. He said I could keep it. My mom hated it. Point is I learned so much about science having that pet spider. Point is I learned little in his class. However,he saw a way to reach me. He was a much better teacher than I understood back then.
That is awesome!
One of my favorite creatures. I think its the pinchers that freak people out🤔 Maybe the legs...?
And Im super chuffed i stumbled upon an upload of yours so early!:) Much love from Texas, Dave and Camera Lady!
Welcome my friend ❤️👍
What a creature.
(The centipede, not Dave!)
Another in a long line of quality videos. I want a beastie room more than I want my next meal!
Thanks matey 👍
They are really great parents the mom wraps up her babies its adorable af
Love this video Dave. The enclosure you made for your Centipede is truly amazing .. I know it will like it and thrive in it.
I only keep roaches, isopods, tarantulas, and ants but I kept seeing these centipede videos so I just ordered 6 subspinipes. They are scary and beautiful at the same time, truly fascinating ceatures 🤩👍
Planning to breed them in the future, hope it all goes well
That is awesome!

One of the coolest creatures on the planet imo. Thanks for the wonderful shots and detailed breakdown of its features. :)
“And that’s the last we’re going to see if her” 😂😂 sums up owning a pede (properly) so perfectly
Absolutely fascinating video again Dave, I’m looking forward to Mondays now 😂❤️🤘
Thanks Dave another wicked video.
This was really informative and educational. Love your style of explaining things as well
Thanks so much!👍❤️
@@daveslittlebeasties Also I wanted to ask if smaller centipedes can get stuck in spider webs if I leave a small spider in their enclosure for them to hunt?
@@jatinkm I. wouldn't risk it theres no need mate 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties Alright, thanks alot for the info
That makes for a beautiful enclosure ! I'm glad other people do enjoy these little arthropods.

My little boy chose to watch this,This morning and we’re loving it, Looks great mate, love how informative you are xx
Awesome! Thank you!
Your videos are better and better everytime I see them 😄 keep up the great information!
This is probably the most terrifying bug for me ever. When I was in highschool, one of those crawled into my backpack when I left it on a field through a small opening. It came outside when I was in a car, on my way back home. Just thinking about it gives me chills, half a decade later. I am terrified of how reactive and fast they are, not to mention their aggressiveness.
Scare the crap out of me too...just got a borneo blue one......
Hello great video rehousing Dave
Cheers guys 👍👍
I bet your little subscriber was so excited that you dedicated this video for him. 😎
Really great and informative video Dave,I feel much more at ease in getting one.
I'm very calm around animals most people freak out about, but large centipedes do give the the heebie-jeebies. Can look at them for hours if in an enclosure, but that's about it. Like you, I try and explain to people most animals will leave you alone, but let's face it Dave, these have "DON'T MESS WITH ME" written all over them. I live in Asia and have come across these a few times in the wild. It's truly nerve racking. There's a few hornets out here that are even more intimidating. Good effort though mate!
Thanks buddy 👍
I lived in vietnam for 4 years and I one time was horrified to find one of these crawling across my loungroom floor where everyone slept .I can tell u what I didn't sleep very well for next few months lol
Fab video Mr and Mrs Dave ❤️ not for me but fascinating to watch 😁🥰🥰🥰
Such an amazing insect. Great Video. Learned alot. Thank you
Love this channel and the giant centipedes fascinate me 👍
❤️❤️❤️
I was literally just trying to research what those little spherical things were on the side of each segment! Thank you for being so detailed💕 Cheers!
You're so welcome!
That paintbrush would’ve went flying out of my hand 😂 great job, Dave!
I'm a new subscriber, I enjoy your show Dave. You are a treasure of knowledge. A giant centipede is what I want. Watch them eat is awesome. Thanks Dave.
Lovely specimen and great video.
Wow! I need one of those. Very nice! 17K subscribers and growing! :-)
Its amazing isn't it matey ❤️👍
Tempting to try centipedes ~ Cheers for the upload of their kind as a great example to follow!
Yes, they're marvellous on sandwiches.
I'm from nz too! Awesome video! You're the best Dave!
A great video, got myself one yesterday and I love them.
Many thanks for the great advice
Great to hear!
I loved the video, specially liked the sound their feet made when sprinting and how easily they glided under the bark and into hiding. It's amazing to be able to see so many details in a creature we usually can't (cause most are tiny)
Loved the vid and what a smashin specimen of a centipede and a great enclosure, well done Camera Lady for gettin those early shots before it did one ...
Thanks Marie ❤️👍
Thanks for the video bro, loved your energy.
Love the videos Dave especially the rehouses, glad i stumbled across your channel & subscribed, i dont even like spiders but your videos are fascinating....keep up the good work pal 👍
Welcome my friend ❤️👍
A really great video. I love your enthusiasm for these creatures and the informative yet unpretentious vibe of the presentation. Thanks!
Thank you very much!
Cool little beastie you aren't kidding.
What a glorious last look! Stunning!
That was so awesome i loved the tank set up
Absolutley facinating!
Beautifully shot camera lady! Awesome!
OMG! I'm one who fears those! They give me the hebeegeebees! 😂 Great video!
They will take on baby mice? That is badass. Everybody knows how deadly baby mice can be.
Those are specialists in escaping. Lovely animals.
Jesus
Simply fascinating!!
What a well done enclosure, most of the TH-camrs only put in a corkbark and call it a day. I'm sure he/she will enjoy it!
Glad you liked it 👍
Just discovered this channel, awesome content. I can tell you care for your beasties.
Thank you and welcome my friend ❤️👍
Love these little guys, I have one right now. Great video
Awesome! Thank you!
Giving a shout out for you little fan was so sweet.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just got one of these yesterday and will be rehousing it soon. Always great tips on husbandry! I'm terrified. Bought this one to help xalm those fears.
Beautiful critter - I keep thinking about adding one to my collection.💜💚
You should try one they are very rewarding 👍
Centipedes are scary. Even the little ones we occasionally find in Ohio USA scare me. So this video will be quite an adventure. Thank you for presenting him and demonstrating how you put together his new home. You sure know a lot about these animals.
Thank you ❤️👍
Gorgeous! Love the setup as well.
Thank you! Cheers!
I never thought I would subscribe to a spider channel but Dave here makes the videos so interesting 👍
Thank you so much ❤️👍
