- We make trip west to Wyoming to hunt pronghorn antelope. We are fortunate to see some beautiful country and punch two tags. Now, we need to get our antelope recipes ready! Thanks for watching, eat beef, and God bless!

I feel like you'd definitely fill a tag in Wyoming. Those Antelope are everywhere and near the road all the time. I feel like they would be far less anxious than a deer. I live in Northern Utah, we go up for Fireworks all the time and we use to go to the horse races when they live. I think it's all televised races up there now. The live races were a blast!
It's always great when you hear that "thump"! You know you have it when you hear that!! My boys are hunting elk now. Deer comes in October here.
How's the taste? Gamey like deer?

Yes, there were plenty in the unit where we had a tag. Apparently, the winter kill has been bad the last year or two, so herd numbers are down

I went through Wyoming on Hwy 80 and I bet I saw a 100 of these in the fields along side it.
They usually are everywhere, but it looks like the winter kill over the last year or two has impacted their numbers

@@HurricaneCreekFarms Thanks for the reply, I'm at 10 points for antelope and 9 for deer going into the 2024 season draw. I'd love to find an area the antelope and deer season over laps. It's proving to be a challenge.
@@kwil6648yeah, we’ve had some friends try that in montana. It seems like you will sacrifice the best of one season or the other. If you have that many points, I’d be hesitant to burn them just to try to do a 2 for 1. That’s why we did this antelope only hunt and picked a unit with high success rate. We also have deer and elk points in WY. Probably going to try for an elk tag next year.
