Coco Boy this is very enlightening and watching this as an African, I felt a strong connection to everything that Kerry did. It was so African😳 and I can say this for sure - 'you can take a people out of Africa but you cannot take the Africa out of them' 🤔🇳🇬❤️🇯🇲👍

Kerri is plant genius. This physician has amazing knowledge. I’m definitely visiting her restaurant on my next trip to Jamaica. I’m a plant-based eater, so her place is a must. This a great video Coco Boy. Thanks for doing a great job
It's amazing how every single fruit and plant in Jamaica is also found in West Africa. Africa has fruits that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. The soil is good in Jamaica. Elevations are the best places for cultivation.
@@fakebookmedia4981 Yeah captured tied up slaves who were kept in dungeons before placed on those rickety ships ran and collected produce to bring with them. Oh did they returned to Africa and get produced after landing in Jamaica. Go sit down and learn history.
This video is so heartwarming. I was born in Roberts Field, Mavis Bank, St. Andrew and this video just brings me back to my childhood days growing up in Jamaica, so much natural living. I am now living in California, USA. Big-up to Jamaica 🇯🇲 Great video!!!🙏🏽
Leaf of life gave me goosebumps. Anytime we had any cold or sickness, my mother used to heat up one leaf over the fire and squeezed it with some salt and gave us to drink. It’s the best medicine ever.🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Sorry! I made a comment based on my observation an innocent comment without really judging how it may be perceived maybe what I saw was nothing more than just an american observational outlook again sorry if by chance I offended anyone.
Dandelion is very good for your condition as well also if you like the musky taste of cofee you can get jerusalem peas roast ground and drink exctly like cofee if you want the taste. Pine and ginger in jamaica is also not exclusively made just with the fleshy part of the fruit but with the pit in the middle and the skin boiled and steeped as a tea with ginger cooled and drunk. That way nothing wastes. Studies show its good for acid reflux disease.
Great content Coco Boy! Love the way you’re putting out balanced content. This video is a wealth of knowledge. Keep exploring & sharing the variety of niceness that is Jamaica! 🇯🇲 ❤
The noni leaf can be made as tea as well. The fermenting of noni is definitely shocking and normally people spit it out in shock. But the oldest woman in florida lives on it. It is overall promoters for overall wellness
Thanks, Coco Boy, This lady is so knowledgeable and also passionate about her work in natural, healthier living. I had the pleasure of seeing her on one of your other videos inside her restaurant in Kingston. Continue putting out great content, and be well.

The most common way to detox in jamaica is to use the gel fleshy part of aloe vera with the same type of orange juice and raw eggs. Some people eliminate the egg yolk. Honestly i have no idea where we got that from and dont know the origin but its usually given to children before going back to school. Sometimes the deworm the children. Its done yearly probably to eliminate parasites gained from sweets eaten in summer.
At the end of the summer holidays we usually get a detox or what we call a "wash out". That's because we were eating lots of mangoes and during the summer holidays.Sometimes it was herbal or a spoon of casto oil.We had serious diarrhea.During the process we had light soups and teas.We survived .Can any one remember those days?

'Village' is not a word used in Jamaica. We say 'rural areas' or 'country'. For some, it may have a connotation of primitive or antiquated lifestyle, and that's why some Jamaicans might object to their environs being referred to as such. I hope this helps to clarify the issue.
I think the size of the place constitutes the name, a village is a relatively small community where as a city or district will be larger. In Guyana there are many villages, we don’t consider them as poverty areas because some are impoverished while the majority are much better off or ultra rich
