Great idea making pillows! And since it's sort of a yarn hog, it would cut down on the amount of yarn you would need rather than try to make a blanket or throw.

Beautiful stitch very unique. It almost looks like a climbing vine. That would make a beautiful vest, each front side would have a panel of this stitch and the back could be double crochet.
