Heck.. Kohli can play either like Tendulkar or Dravid depending on the situation. Mohd Amir bowls 50% of Wasim Akram once in 5 matches.. 😂

They say Jaya Suriya its who played aerial shots in 1996 and Great batch played aerial strokes in 1992... World cups but in my opinion Saeed Anwar was the first player to play aerial shots in 1990 for testimony I suggest watch His innings at Adelaide in 1990 Saeed Played like the current modern day cricketer... People remember the start of power hitting at the top of the order to have started in the mid nineties by Jayasuria, Kaluwitarana and Afridi etc., but this man, Anwar was the true pioneer of power hitting at the top of the order and was already doing it in the late eighties and early nineties. Later on, he settled into a much stable, consistent and a world class legendary opener.
Absolutely he the best opening batsman Pakistan has ever produced.
I love the way of he used to play fareless and class. But it was unfortunate that his daughter passed away when he was playing a test match. And that was the time when he said good bye to his career.
But after that PCB requested him many times to come back.

When I think about Anwar, I remember his knock of 194, and I also remember poor Kumble.
One of my favorite teenage memory is Anwar's false flick in 96 quarter final which went high towards mid-on off Srinath's bowling. Kumble was Fielding there and it seemed that time had stopped.Srinath had his arms high in air pleading to Kumble not to drop it, so was I, so was rest of India. What a moment.......If Kumble had dropped it and Saeed had stayed 10 more overs the match would have been over. It would have been an innings like Sachin played in 2003 WC where Razzaq dropped him off Akram at mid-off......great times, great cricket

The unusual thing is Indians never appreciate a Pakistani cricketer when he is playing for Pakistan once he retires they come out their holes and glorify him like never before. Still remember not one person clapped when he thrashed Indian bowling in Bangalore Quarter Final 1996, indians always brought the best out of Anwar one of the greatest openers i've ever watched.
Saeed Anwer started playing cricket too late after his intermediate..he was God gifted batsman, at his early days some seniors players, so called analyst didn't like him due to his strocks playin in air..he got settled in the team after laps of 6 golden years..first odi in 1988..and become permanent member in 1994..
Qasim Omar and Asif Mujtaba was also wasted by that Analysts..Qasim and Mujtba was much much better then Ijaz and Aamir Sohail...
