I'm replacing all my house lights to LED in next 5 years or so. The color it puts out is much better than fluorescent lights, not to mention I'll probably never have to replace them in my life time and saving on electricity. Why not replacing them all at once? I just don't want to waste the old bulbs, at the same time the cost will be cheaper in the future. Keep using the old bulbs, tubes maybe costing me more than the saving I make with the lower prices though. If you are planning to use LED in the rooms where color accuracy is critical, such as photo studio or make-up room, don't wait. Replace it right now. You won't regret it.
