Lifeweaver Ammo buff is SUCH A CRAZY CHANGE- I did NOT expect them to help his attacking sustain so much-!
I think the way I'd buff him is I'd actually make his thorns shoot a bit faster.. maybe a 10% Fire-Rate increase! I just feel like enemies weave between his shots too easily when he's shooting in a more varied pattern...
@@zsedforty when I play life, the majority of my damage is just destroying shields and getting hits on the tank, the rest of the time I’m heal botting, sometimes I play widow snipe across the map and 2/3 times I win tehe

@@hopscotch5872 not that i think of cause its kinda crazy watching a widow sit still trying to snipe as u fire volley of thorns at their head them dying within seconds if they not paying attention lol
nah he has the highest raw dps of any support he just had the soldier problem of having to reload too much so good change. Not to mention emptying a clip now leaves you with a full charge heal blossom from the passive gain so it flows better which lifeweaver has always desperately needed.
Idk why everyone underestimates his damage when he basically has larger projectile size, faster moving genji shurikens with about 40% more dps @oppionatedindividual8256

Thorn volley needs to do something other than just damage and autoloading. Maybe after doing damage your healing charges faster for a few seconds?
He sits in the back and can't do meaningful damage since it's a projectile weapon. A better designed LW weapon would have been hitscan.
@@solidforge2016 I mean I’ve had games before this patch, on life weaver where I’ve had the most damage, heals, kills, assists and least deaths. It’s just about good game sense and creating trust with teammates, if they play the wrong tank though, I just play brig so I can stay alive independently.
@@solidforge2016Hitscan weapons have fall off .. LW would land his shots sure, for negative damage
Maybe if you get a kill, it should reduce your cooldown on the pull by 2 seconds
@@andyboston3646 I mean I guess you could make his projectile more like Zen's, but there's a number of hitscan heroes who play backline, such as Ana, Illari, Baptiste, Juno, Ashe, Soldier, and Widowmaker...
Lw still feels pretty weak. You were struggling to keep your whole team topped up, making them get behind cover and wait to get healed, You not having time at all to do damage. If it were up to me, I would make his blossom do more healing to an ally that wasn't targeted by previous blossom, encouraging you to partially charge it up and heal a different target each time. Or just make his blossom apply an overtime heal like Moira and Juno.
I would rather they just speed up his passive regen, or make it charge slightly based on landing your thorns.
@ShaggyLad second suggestion is a great idea. He definitely needs more healing tho seeing mercy beam that utolicks and never has to reload or charge up first outheals

@@mystery_machine4244 or maybe slightly increased healing for low hp targets ? Like the experimental passives they once tried in QP. He felt so much better with that. Value would probably need to be lowered but the idea appeals to me

Someone already said it but hitting your thorns should charge your healing quicker kinda like sojourn. Reduce the weapon swap from attacking to healing aswell

He does a reasonable amount of damage tbh you can try to be more useful with him going for picks (that you can safely come back after) instead of just healing

The lock on heals are the problem, he can never be strong because his healing is way too strong. They need to make it more like Kiri, where they require a "semi aim" and also reduce some of the burst for a small heal over time.
Having a heal over time allows more uptime to do damage and would make him feel less monotonous.
As a Zen main I‘m very happy about any buffs in this current meta 👍
they're enormous buffs btw. You can now two shot 250hp heroes with discord. Remember how much fuss was made about kiriko being able to do that to some heroes when they got changed to 225hp? She shoots slower too. He did need it tho just saying it's way bigger than the dps difference would suggest.

What they need to do with Lifeweaver is make his heal blast like 30% of the heal to allies close to it, remove the passive charge of his healing, and make it so doing damage charges it.
LW ult could 'root' (get it) enemies that stand in it's range for too long. Give it more utility or something

On lw you dont have to wait for the healing to slow charge while dps'ing . You can just quick charge 1 then swap to dps without throwing the heal out, banking the charge. Waiting for it to charge is a waste of time

What a zen game! An oppressive Zenyata that should've been dead too many times, combined with a good protective Brig is so scary to run against!
Crazy idea for LW but it might just work to give him thay offensive play he kinda needs that this buff doesnt provide.
What if when he uses his dash, if he dashes through someone it applies a short poison (sombra virus-like) effect. Perhaps then LW is able to do more thorn volley dmg against that target while theyre poisoned.
Idk but mby thatd make him feel less like the "slightly more intelligent illari pylon"
It wouldn't work, LW wants to play far away from the enemy, this is counterintuitive, and the range of the dash is too short any good Tracer or sombra player will know their spacing to avoid stuff like that.

And it is 872 buff after release and blizzard still not knowing that LW ulti is useless.
LW ultimate is worst one among support, just another buff on Ultimate like remove all deployable object (Junk tire, ball minefield , torb molten core, mei blizzard and turret) and remove anti effect(fire antiheal or poison on cast) and he will be competitive with others.
Another day, another patch where Kiriko doesn't get nerfed.
She isn't even that strong right now.
Lifeweaver needs to be made two handed and even then will never be good
Consistently the most useless support as the kit is just not as good and needs to be reworked
I feel if they increase the passive charge on his heal while he has thorns active then he would feel better, but if that doesn't work we may have to sacrifice uniqueness for gameplay
