    Why is the wing nose skin placed under the bottom skin? Wouldn't you want to place it over the bottom skin so air flow wont tend to force through any small gap?

    I would have thought the leading edge skin would be on top of the trailing skin?

    This is a great teaching tool for anyone building this aircraft. Thank you for the great job.

    He drilled new holes, but did anyone see him debure the (blind) back side of the hole? I was taught that's a 💯% WRONG!

    So the leading edge sheet metal goes under the other two sheet metal plates already in place? minute 3:31

    If it's "pre-drilled" why are they drilling holes? Also, though it's interesting, a bit more commentary (either with subtitles) or voice over would be helpful!

      The amateur-built regs require that the builder demonstrate the full range of skills, including some drilling.

    I cannot really see here, but are the skins prefolded/formed when delivered?

    What are the assembly table dimensions?

    • @zenithac
      @zenithac  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Basic recommended table size is 12-feet x 4-feet. Pretty much all sections of the entire aircraft can be built on the flat table.

    no parts are glued for more strenght ?

      @sebastienheintz 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No, we rely on rivets for structural integrity (and much easier to maintain if an assembly needs to be taken apart)

      *****
      When measured the "waves" are nearly non-existent. The light reflection on the bare aluminum amplifies the tiniest wave...
