On 2/14 I purchased a brand new from an authorized dealer, 18k yellow gold Sub with blue dial. AD gave me 10% off and no sales tax so I saved around $3700. Day date is insane. I have the 36mm champagne dial 1998. Just changing the straps out completely transforms the look . I put a cream crocodile leather handmade strap on and It was next level bling. Then put a pink croc leather on and my wife won't take it off now hah ha. Enjoy your content Eric , greetings from Ireland.
Great pick up Eric, Not crazy at all. Thousands of Batman’s out there, I see one everyday, I only seen 1 of those dials in the flesh. I am a Cancer so I also will get a ruby or diamond ruby piece soon. Purchasing rarity items usually pay off but come at high premiums. In the future I can’t see Batman’s going for huge $ just to many out there.
It’s never too much to make something fitting to your taste. A friend of mine has put 35k into a 35k car and it’s looks fantastic even though it’s not worth much more now but to him it’s priceless.
No micro adjust in the Crown clasp. Have to buy an extra link and the correct Burgeon screwdriver. DDII is discontinued. Have Rolex catalogue from 2010/11 when introduced. The dealer catalogue has all the dial options available for this and Datejust and Daytona. The original 1992 Yacht Master in Gold with the black indexes look good.
Congratulation on your beautiful Rolex Presidential with diamond and ruby indexes. This is a timeless classic watch. $20,000 for a dial is a lot of money.

I have the DD 40mm YG Black dial with baguettes. It took me a while to save up for it but I finally got it. How much more is it dial that has the rubys at nine and six with the rest being baguettes? Is that dial that much more expensive than the dial with just baguettes?

Good taste with the rose gold, I’m on the hunt for a DD II rose gold, chocolate face, baguette markers. Of course factory. Insanely handsome watch. Mine listed for 58;but I paid 46. Round diamond markers (factory) and bezel and it is definitely worth it if the numbers show that factory furniture.
Awesome Daydate, I think that such upgrades really pay out in the long run. I must admit though that I caught myself trying to find out what AP you were wearing in the video, seems to be a 41 mm white dial which looks fantastic as well!
