Live in Nottingham UK. I felt like Austin Powers going out for the first time in a few years for drinks. Everyones zipping around on electronic scooters. Damned near took me down. Then in the restaurant, everyone's glued to their phones. A couple opposite our table sat silent just tapping away. Like pod people. Interior Lulu living for instagram. My date and I just giggled and gazed about the room. Everyone's a program just staring at the phone and gazing up momentary before they are pulled back in. Best date I've been on because she was in the room. I went to pay cash and no joke - we dont take cash. You got a phone? Ffff.
First half is ponderous; moog solo that follows cringey. The only part of this song that stands up for me is from "If you can carry it out" onwards. The rest needed some serious editing.
