i think that ARCs are solo fighter whereas commandos always work in squads. And there are different phases of ARCs the first one beiing the real elite around Skirata

@@spuart3308 those abilities aren't very annoying anymore, and they're easy to block or dodge anyway. Plus they can't be spammed since retribution takes forever to charge up, and heroic might has a longer recharge and doesn't do very much damage at all

This new offline mode makes me really happy since my cousin and I have been wanting to capture command posts on split screen for a long time now. I hope they make it for the other eras later on so it could be more expansive
I love the clone wars stuff I really do, but I do hope they add more galactic civil war stuff, like maybe bring back Scariff, Bespin, or Sullust for galactic assault and CS Edit: Mustafar -> Sullust
The only reason Instant action is going to be Clone Wars only first is because they already have maps with Command posts in place. It will only be a matter of time before they add them to Original Trilogy and new Trilogy maps.
ST first for The Rise of Skywalker, after that it’s up in the air. By then the game will have passed the two year mark, so I’m hoping support won’t slow down...
I hope they add the AI vehicles amd the AI heroes for Arcade (or something like that). Just imagine being a hero against 5 speeders, or being a hero against 10 weakened villains.
@@mr.warden118 It's the AI from the Capital Supremacy, which means they're much smarter than the ones in Arcade, but these AI are able to play as vehicles and heroes, so it's going to be an improvement. Besides, most of us really want to be OP in this game without having to deal with other skilled players without consequence. That's why the Classic Battlefront II is still fun, even without the multiplayer. Also, I'm from Asia, and the servers there are completely dead, so I, for the life of me, can't find a feasible server to play in. The best I can play in is from Germany (which thankfully isn't as laggy as most other games). For once, I want a proper Battlefront experience without worrying about the Internet, you know...
This Year will be great , dice is doing a fantastic job . The only thing i'm missing is more OT content , like a GA map where you have to capture Coruscant as the Rebellion. And maybe some rebellion reinforcenents like Bothans .

@@geekstudios13 I think they mentioned that it takes 75 % of the creation time for a new map to port a map from Battlefront 2015 (because Battlefront 2 uses a new version of the engine). But I think that campaign maps wouldn't take that long, depends on how suited they are for multiplayer.

Episode IX content is a contract obligation to promote the new film with Disney. So this announcement isn't a surprise whatsoever part of their marketing strategy
I'm happy that we are getting it in the first place. Still, I hope they add to it the new TRoS map and 2 other maps (my personal picks for large maps are Tatooine amd Takodana).
Seeing as how they have already programmed AI to capture command posts, I believe the only thing they would need to do is add said command posts to maps that already exist. Mos Eisley Conquest would be bomb I think!
I am so happy that we are going to get rise of Skywalker content this december including a new planet and reinforcements. Maps are what makes me happy and this transmission made me happy.
The only thing I'm upset about is that since Criterion Games left we won't get any more maps for Starfighter Assault. There are so many space battles from the films I wish were featured in this game, especially the battle over Coruscant and Scariff. :(
oh btw, it's not just about not wanting to play against real players, or for kids, offline is enjoyable because you can play it with family, and that's what counts imo
The Tester It’s also great for those who are multitasking or busy and require a break. Being able to pause it and pick it up after doing something without being kicked for inactivity is great. It’s also awesome for people with bad internet.

Sometimes playing against players can be laggy as well, and it's often more stressful playing against players, so I just find myself taking a break in arcade, although I mostly do multiplayer PVP. I'm going to play the new offline modes a lot if they're as interesting as they sound.
I’m happy they’re continuing to release content, but this definitely wasn’t the “largest community transmission ever”. Other then 1 reinforcement, some offline game modes and small changes, we hardly learned anything new

You cannot believe how long i have waited for a mode like instant action to finally come to battlefront 2, im hyped for the September update, ive been supporting the game since launch and to see it come this far is actually amazing, with all new updates and finally large scale offline mode, im glad that i never sold this game

I think they will, and here's why. Ahsoka has been teased furiously by dice. Along with the voicelines for padme, we know new heroes are on the way. Not seeing theme in the roadmap I'd a good indication that they'll be dropping next year.
The way this game evolved since launch is unbelievable. I mean, really... who would have thought of that back when micro-transactions was a thing. I think that we cannot do anything but applause the team behind this game who keeps working to give the community what they want. Sure, the game is not perfect and not all players will be satisfied with it unless all the Star Wars lore is added to it, but still you cannot deny the support the team has been giving these past few years. As a personal thought, with all the content coming and, I hope, more things to come next year, I consider this game as one of the best Star Wars game. Thank you EA and Dice for what you're doing with this game.
The only part of EA Battlefront 1 that is playable today is the offline Instant Action stuff. Having Instant Action is tremendously important, and its constant omission is DICE's biggest problem by far.
It’s a really good solid Update I think it would of been perfect if they announced two heroes. I hope the rise of skywalker content is better than the solo content.
More ways to play also means thinning out the playerbase, but I hope they can encourage players to try them out long-term, such as having challenges (credits only) for the week be solely for one game mode.
One thing I hope that can happen in the future is having instant action with friends online and/or split screen. Would feel like the old days. A horde mode would also be rad. Super excited for these changes in September.
But the main question ist: Will we be able to play the Insant Action mode in offline splitscreen multiplayer like we were in the OG Battlefront? Because if not I don‘t see any point to this mode.
I can’t really pick anything I don’t like about this roadmap. New skins, planets, modes (Co-op is something I’ve wanted for a long time), CS changes, and more reinforcement options. Even without new heroes I am very pleased with this content!
It would have been nice if Luke has the outfit he did on bespin in empire strikes back. Or him with the black robes at the beginning of return of the Jedi
I'm excited. I hope some of the skins they add are for reinforcements. Different markings for ARCs, markings for Commandos, different fur colorations for Wookies, etc etc. I know it isn't protested very well in the game or the Clone Wars cartoon, but ARCs were one man armies. They were top of the line Republic fighting units. If a Jedi got in a pinch, ARCs were sent in to rescue them.
This game really picked up their effort. They are really listening to the community, and adding things that they know we like. So many great additions and changes that actually make sense. Fixed capital supremacy (maybe we havent played it), added CLONE COMMANDOS and they just added OG battlefront content, which is so goooood! Good on you bf2
Every time they add one of these big recent CTs I always think “this is probably gonna be the end of it all” but they just keep going! So excited for all the new content, than k you for sticking with this game Dice.
I really hope Instant Action will get OT and ST content one day, then it will be the most awesome mode that fulfills what Battlefront from DICE was meant to be since the 2015 game at last.
We are very lucky to be getting as much new content as we have. EA & DICE are in the business of making money and I've gotten thousands of dollars of fun from a mere $60. They could have stopped updating and abandoned this game months ago, but it just keeps getting better! I'd love a Geonosis Arena battle or a major hive structure and a Sullust battle. I'm super-excited about the upcoming changes! Thanks DICE!
I'm sure a lot of people said that the reinforcements worked well and are much less buggy then heroes. Heroes would be amazing but they barely work sometimes.
should keep the ticket system in addition to the timer. As it stands now attackers win a lot because defenders can't kill them all. However a timer on top of that would help the defenders drastically.
If they added the hero’s a lot of people wanting that would make this year even better Asoka, ventris, jango, like do the most requested hero’s dice it will help you out in the long term, cause then the large amount of people who asked for those hero’s will be happy, then you can focus on the smaller things to make other fans happy. Clone commandos, and droidakas are a step in right direction
I think once the leaked Prequel heroes (Ahsoka,Ventress, etc) and maybe one or two more prequel Maps get added the fan base will be officially satisfied with Prequel content and will be totally open to other eras, they’ve done the Clone Wars justice after this

Can we get something that's not Clone Wars. Some OT or ST capital supremacy would be great (yes, despite the rebels fighting guerilla warfare, not a full on war. Endor is maybe the closest thing to that). Imagine going inside an imperial star destroyer or a cr90 that it's trying to capture
Luke Landrunner actually I think Battle of Jakku Capital Supremacy would be perfect for a OT map. It’s the largest full scale conflict of the Galactic Civil War and could have tons of opportunities for vehicles, maybe even add starfighers into the planetary phase and during the battle there plenty of boarding actions between the New Republic and Empire, also that could be a skin for the Alliance, new republic garb.

You cannot believe how long i have waited for a mode like instant action to finally come to battlefront 2, im hyped for the September update, ive been supporting the game since launch and to see it come this far is actually amazing, with all new updates and finally large scale offline mode, im glad that i never sold this game

HOLY SHIT. I am so excited. I’ve been playing this game a bunch lately, and they’ve outdid themselves with this.
Give me Mustafar,Utapau,Jango,Qui-Gon and Magna Guards and then you can focus all you want on the other eras.

I think they will, and here's why. Ahsoka has been teased furiously by dice. Along with the voicelines for padme, we know new heroes are on the way. Not seeing theme in the roadmap I'd a good indication that they'll be dropping next year.

The way this game evolved since launch is unbelievable. I mean, really... who would have thought of that back when micro-transactions was a thing. I think that we cannot do anything but applause the team behind this game who keeps working to give the community what they want. Sure, the game is not perfect and not all players will be satisfied with it unless all the Star Wars lore is added to it, but still you cannot deny the support the team has been giving these past few years. As a personal thought, with all the content coming and, I hope, more things to come next year, I consider this game as one of the best Star Wars game. Thank you EA and Dice for what you're doing with this game.
The only part of EA Battlefront 1 that is playable today is the offline Instant Action stuff. Having Instant Action is tremendously important, and its constant omission is DICE's biggest problem by far.

It’s a really good solid Update I think it would of been perfect if they announced two heroes. I hope the rise of skywalker content is better than the solo content.
More ways to play also means thinning out the playerbase, but I hope they can encourage players to try them out long-term, such as having challenges (credits only) for the week be solely for one game mode.
One thing I hope that can happen in the future is having instant action with friends online and/or split screen. Would feel like the old days. A horde mode would also be rad. Super excited for these changes in September.

I gave up hope on them this morning. If Rise of Skywalker is coming after September I DOUBT they'll do more clone wars content.

Will we be able to play the Insant Action mode in offline splitscreen multiplayer like we were in the OG Battlefront? Because if not I don‘t see any point to this mode.

I can’t really pick anything I don’t like about this roadmap. New skins, planets, modes (Co-op is something I’ve wanted for a long time), CS changes, and more reinforcement options. Even without new heroes I am very pleased with this content!

It would have been nice if Luke has the outfit he did on bespin in empire strikes back. Or him with the black robes at the beginning of return of the Jedi
I'm excited. I hope some of the skins they add are for reinforcements. Different markings for ARCs, markings for Commandos, different fur colorations for Wookies, etc etc. I know it isn't protested very well in the game or the Clone Wars cartoon, but ARCs were one man armies. They were top of the line Republic fighting units. If a Jedi got in a pinch, ARCs were sent in to rescue them.
This game really picked up their effort. They are really listening to the community, and adding things that they know we like. So many great additions and changes that actually make sense. Fixed capital supremacy (maybe we havent played it), added CLONE COMMANDOS and they just added OG battlefront content, which is so goooood! Good on you bf2
Every time they add one of these big recent CTs I always think “this is probably gonna be the end of it all” but they just keep going! So excited for all the new content, than k you for sticking with this game Dice.

I really hope Instant Action will get OT and ST content one day, then it will be the most awesome mode that fulfills what Battlefront from DICE was meant to be since the 2015 game at last.
We are very lucky to be getting as much new content as we have. EA & DICE are in the business of making money and I've gotten thousands of dollars of fun from a mere $60. They could have stopped updating and abandoned this game months ago, but it just keeps getting better! I'd love a Geonosis Arena battle or a major hive structure and a Sullust battle. I'm super-excited about the upcoming changes! Thanks DICE!

Ok I honestly don't get the hype over the commandos, they're just bulked up arc troopers. Kinda sad there's not gonna be any heroes anytime soon 😣

I'm sure a lot of people said that the reinforcements worked well and are much less buggy then heroes. Heroes would be amazing but they barely work sometimes.
should keep the ticket system in addition to the timer. As it stands now attackers win a lot because defenders can't kill them all. However a timer on top of that would help the defenders drastically.
If they added the hero’s a lot of people wanting that would make this year even better Asoka, ventris, jango, like do the most requested hero’s dice it will help you out in the long term, cause then the large amount of people who asked for those hero’s will be happy, then you can focus on the smaller things to make other fans happy.
Clone commandos, and droidakas are a step in right direction

That middle ability with the commando reminds me of the ability that the clone commander had in OG Battlefront 2

I think once the leaked Prequel heroes (Ahsoka,Ventress, etc) and maybe one or two more prequel Maps get added the fan base will be officially satisfied with Prequel content and will be totally open to other eras, they’ve done the Clone Wars justice after this

So happy the original conquest mode is back I hope our kills will count towards milestones The weapons are outrageously grindy to unlock
Can we get something that's not Clone Wars. Some OT or ST capital supremacy would be great (yes, despite the rebels fighting guerilla warfare, not a full on war. Endor is maybe the closest thing to that). Imagine going inside an imperial star destroyer or a cr90 that it's trying to capture
Luke Landrunner actually I think Battle of Jakku Capital Supremacy would be perfect for a OT map. It’s the largest full scale conflict of the Galactic Civil War and could have tons of opportunities for vehicles, maybe even add starfighers into the planetary phase and during the battle there plenty of boarding actions between the New Republic and Empire, also that could be a skin for the Alliance, new republic garb.
@@DarthSylar12 I'm gonna be honest, I completely forgot about Jakku, yet it is one of the biggest and most important battles of the GCW. And what if there was a stage where you had to sabotage a Starhawk as the empire to stop it from pulling an Executor, like have different stages and shit. Like the Death Star DLC but much much better
