Very underrated player! Just has to stay healthy! Definitely has all-star skill but probably won’t ever be selected due to being in the west with so many great perimeter players!
I don't think he's underrated. Spurs fan love him (except his injuries history) but contrary to Sochan (mixed rating outside of the Spurs community), everyone else still value his skills. Never heard someone saying he's a bad player or he's overpaid. I think by the fan, by the media, by the FO (salary wise), by everyone he's rated just right. You could say he's not spoken enough outside of the Spurs. But that's because of the Spurs (very bad) results those last seasons.
Only way he can become all star is if spurs become the no. 1 seed in the future and has the best record in the nba where they can get more than 2 or 3 allstars. Nonetheless I love Vassell and he def has a really bright future. Just gotta keep putting the work in!!!
He's just not starting cause he's not allowed to play like 35 minutes now, and they dont want to start him in 1st/3rd cause then he wont be there in the fourth. Its temporary. Probably just a few more days

I've been calling him Devin "The Smooth Criminal" Vassell since he was a rookie because of that shot, I'm glad people are finally noticing him.
