Great video! Lots of Avantis haters here. Let me just clarify a couple things: LV1 Classic does have more channels and auxes than the Avantis for a better price point. A&H has a WIDE expanse of I/O from multiple consoles to multiple stage boxes to ME's (best personal mixer until LiveMix Pro comes out) when the LV1 does not. UI is arguably better and, most of all, more volunteer friendly for a lot churches that don't know what they're doing half the time, to get the job done when the LV1 does not. The LV1 is amazing for endless options of processing plugins, the new eMo app is phenomenal, but like the studio, you gotta experiment and learn a mass array of plugins that most volunteers or tech directors don't have time for. I wouldn't say card I/O options is an argument cause with the Dante or MADI converters with the LV1 classic is near the same price as the Avantis Solo with its Dante or MADI cards.
The avantis solo got 64 mono channels and the LV1 classic got 64 mono/stereo channels which is basically 128 mono channels. Also the avantis solo only got 19 stereo auxes if you sacrifice all the group, FXs, and matrices vs the LV1 classic that has 24 stereo auxes, 8 stereo groups and 8 stereo matrices... Not mentionning the upgradability of lv1
Most all to medium churches need only 32 channels or less covering drums, keys, guitars and about 5 vocalists. Adding IO to the LV1 is pretty costly. Factor in ease of use considering most churches rely on volunteers and I guess you can see where I am going.
I actualy serve in a Hillsong campus, mobile AVL gear as we rent a theater per weekly basis. Actual config is Digico q225 on FOH and LV1 for monitor. 61 Channel count total. In the past 2 years we changed mixers 3 times : 2x CL5, 2x LV1 and the actual configuration (q225 & LV1). Volunteers are "obviously" confused and a bit lost when using a CL5 and digico. But they do find the LV1 pretty straightfotward, very plug & play and with the effect racks, they can intuitively try any waves plugins they want. In terms of LV1 I/Os, the new ionic 24 and 16 are much more affordable than dspro 4000
Has anyone else experienced the jumping faders on their Avantis, after you reset the faders to calibrate it, it ends up doing it again. I'm not sure but I heard someone say something about Allen & Heath having an upgraded fader because firmware was not correcting the issues with the phantom faders. It took about a 6 months to get a Dante card replaced after the first one arrived and did not work. Also if yours goes down and you need a replacement, how long is it going to take to get one. Most local stores around us do not have spares laying around.
For a few grand more the Yamaha DM7 Compact would be a better overall option, Dante built-in, better UI with many more features, more physical ins and outs, newer platform, superior build quality... the list goes on. This console is meh for me.
This tiny mixer has a massive price tag!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yes…a rather extreme price.
😂😂😂 its the cheapest 64 channel mixer in existance
@@funkyjklThat's actually true!

I just wish they refresh the SQ5 as that's more in my budget.
Also don't forget if you need extra faders you can get an IP8 and connect it up to the network port of the Avantis.

I’m holding out for consoles from UAD or Plugin Alliance
@@christianmartinez1 do they have something in the pipeline?

@@pieterh_ hi from Hillsong Ukraine. we also recently moved monitors to lv1 and really happy with it
When nothing but the best is good enough…😊
I work at my church and if anyone wants help with their Avantis let me know and I’ll be happy to help!!!
Man this thing looks cool, with the release of the new WING series and mixers from behringer this is a nice video! Good work.
0:55 it's definitely avantis
encoders can also be EQ, comp or gate
Geeze brother, we talking about this thing like it doesn't cost $10k 😂 got my hopes UP
It’s worth getting the full sized avantis is anyone is wondering.
The business of jesus is doing well

I haven’t had that issues…yet. Hopefully never do.
Avantis is a great console.
On mixing AUXes, Is it possible to send to fader? How to do it? I hope we have a more in depth demo on this Avantis Solo.
Under the mute button is a mix button on each bus. Flip to other layers and mix on fader. Don’t need separate send on fader button.
What’s is the name of this mixer?
Why A & H doesn’t send me any consoles 😢
You could pronounce Avantis almoast like "i want this" 😅
A Van Tis
I think I just crapped a brick when i looked at the price
Might wanna get that checked out.
Yeah. Must be nice to have the budget for one.
@ it’s $13,500 U.S Canadian is like $20,000
@ haha I was joking. But that mixer price in canadian is like $20,000
For real lol, just get a Wing
Should have filmed this with an iPhone.

For the same price the regular avantis, and the avantis ui beats Yamaha 😜
@ I’m assuming you haven’t used a DM7 yet, so we’ll leave it there. Feel free to come back when you do.
Uh vaughn tis lol
These mixers are great, but why always so ugly?!
