Interesting that the first time I've heard of Lani was when she was in the news as the singer who sang in the wedding of Joseph Estrada's daugther then (I did live under a rock, just living away from the Philippines). Soon after that, I was hearing about her in Las Vegas so as a Filipino in the US, she was a source of pride for us. When she came here in Hawaii for a concert, I didn't want to miss it. Although she was with other performers, she was the only one my family and I were focusing on. That was a memorable concert at the Neil Blaisdell Concert Hall. Yes, she's well blessed to have managed everything--being a wife, raising children, having a stunning music career, and waiting to be awarded the National Artist award, right? Lani should take it easy now and enjoy farming. Going back to nature can be healing as well. But she should also develop her farm wherein tourists can experience and the farm should include a museum-like building in it to showcase her work over the years. Yes, it should be a sound museum because that's what Lani is about--beautiful singing voice like what Ms. Korina said who can sing anybody. It's so nice to see her well in this interview. BTW, I did buy a couple of her CDs back then. 😃

I ignore the music of Miss Lani when she was still in ABS but when she happens to cross in GMA as a judge that starts me to follow and listen to her songs and found out that she really has a very clear expression of lyrics and I luv her duet with gloc 9 and have a rapped and that amazed me a lot
