I had the same reaction to that line, I broke down because this is the Superman that was missing and finally returned. Not the Emo Zack Snyder Superman, the one that feels like an outsider, which he shouldn't feel at all. Superman and Lois literally brought back the real Superman, and I am grateful for it.
I keep coming back to listen to this. The music throughout the first two episodes has been great, but this intro is just magnificent and beautiful and moving. That little vocal “whoa-AH-oh” motif sticks in my head and I just love it. I’m really hoping Warner’s releases the score for the entire season.
What a great show. Returning Superman back to what he really is Post-Snyder. When I was you g.. filled with rage.. felt like an outsider.. I wanted to be Batman. Now that I am grown up.. a husband... a father.. I just want to be Clark Kent... not Superman... just Clark Kent.
You can be both. Not just clark Kent for family, but superman for others. Just be willing to help others and you will be superman too. Superman is all about goodness and kindness. So try to be more good and kind. 😊😊

so picture this ..... this starts playing and doomsday appears , superman looks at lois and his kids and realises in order to save them he needs to sacrifice himself , the sheer emotion would break me honestly. just imagine the hype moments and a final sacrifice and a good smile from the man of steel before it ends
I have rewatched the opening sequence 5 times already.. ive only watched 3 episodes so far.. so so beautiful 😭 and its the score that gets me everytime
This show is very well done. Sure, it has some goofy writing plot holes, but the performances, soundtrack, visuals, and cinematography is all fantastic! Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsie Tulloch do a killer job as the star couple! It takes the sweet flying/super fight VFX from Man of Steel, and couples it with the down home charm of Clark Kent/Supes. While it strays from source material, I'm really enjoying this grounded "family" take on Clark & Lois!

Just finished the season with my brother. It was not perfect but it took us back to the days when Smallville was just starting. By the end of the finale I realized I dont want to imagine a Superman without his two sons.
When I was coming into this episode I thought about how the music would be and said theres no way it could top man of steel, but boy oh boy did it do it
Beautiful music. I’m hoping that they release a version with out the sound effects in the background but I love this and the way they filmed everything. Tyler is my favorite actor to play Superman in live action.
At first I was iffy about him bc he doesn’t look as much like Superman as the other actors who’ve portrayed him but after watching the pilot and seeing his portrayal of Clark Kent I was convinced that he’s probably one of the best Clark Kents I’ve seen
Dan Romer had better WIN an EMMY for his music compositions for this show! As for Tyler playing Superman, the first 2 seconds I saw him first appear on Supergirl I said he was PERFECT to play The Man of Steel. It only took unoriginal Hollywood YEARS to get off their butts to give This Last Son of Krypton his own show. Amazing, all around.

It was too low like I'm sad straight away. I searched for the soundtrack and I found nothing then I searched again I found here I am Now when I listen I am happy I go back to be cheerful. I love this music. I know it's not the Chris Reeve music but it's great in its own way. I think it captures superman's strength but also his humanity, compassion and hope
at first i thought we were gonna get a cringey show but with this intro i automatically knew that the cw did amazing with superman. superman is probably the only character they understand, considering the success of smallville and this show.
It's so incredibly emotional, the music perfectly captures the vast expanse of the fields of Kansas if you ask me, it reminds me a lot of the soundtrack from Faith's region in Far Cry 5.

I hope this show will keep his quality. This first episode was exactly what I expected from a superman show. Arrow, flash, agent of shield, Luke cage, all this show had a good start but got bad really fast. 15 episodes is maybe too much I don’t know. But the cgi and the OST are great. Hope the story keep the same way
