I'm hooked to your reaction guys. It's great!! I've watched this documentary last year and watching your reaction feels like watching it again over with friends 🥰. XG was supposed to debut in 2020 which was 3 years after the audition and training. Unfortunately due to Covid, They then ended up moving it to March of 2022. Brace yourselves for the succeeding episodes as it just gets more interesting, intense and more emotional. XG is AMAzing and so is SIMON and their behind the scene TEAM.! Waiting for the next one ❤🐺
The comments about their singing from my understanding, regarding Chisa and getting lost in the music, while her vocals were great she wasn't projecting out to the audience (or in this case the panel) and Simon was telling her that while it's fine to get lost in the music never forget the audience. When they were evaluating Hikaru I believe this was quite early on so her singing at that point may have been considered some of the best. And when he was talking to Jurin about being nervous/anxious and singing - singers always do vocal exercises before singing to loosen their vocal chords but when you're nervous everything tightens up and it really restricts your singing. Simon could tell Jurin was nervous based on how she was singing and he was telling her along with the other girls when that happens they need to rely on their training and remember how it feels when they are singing well, like muscle memory.

They trained for 5yrs, was meant to be 3yrs but covid added 2yrs. Notice 1st episode started 2017, debuted 2022
