Fine walk midday. Not sure if I’d want to do it at night. Especially as you get closer to pioneer, it’s kinda wild how daylight makes such a difference on the types of people who are out and about
I remember going with my dad to Pikes Place and getting Starbucks Coffee (late 1990s) and Russian pastries. The city then was like an old dusty outpost compared to today.
I lived in seattle 10 years ago and we loved it, whats it like now? Heard its pretty bad. Considering moving back but im curious about the proble.s of the city
You should move back! Maybe take a vacation here first? It’s still a wonderful city, but it has a couple of bad area’s, but it’s like any other major city right now
Depends on the time of day, if it’s midday people are probably at work. Also this was a couple of months ago so the weather wasn’t at its best. Now that the summer weather has arrived it would be much busier.
That would be NYC where the rent is twice what it is in Seattle, you don’t have state income tax in Washington, and east coast cities like NYC, Boston, etc aren’t exactly bastions of cleanliness.
@@janfitzgerald3615 yea...i know. it it one of them though. i think i am taking my talents to salt lake city. where they still put criminals behind bars.
@@JohnEastmanExAttyAtLaw well the police aren’t exactly sitting on their hands. Arrests so far in 2024 are 4,935, of course what happens after they go to court may be another story. If you’re interested in the various statistics here’s a link to the SPD arrest dashboard. www.seattle.gov/police/information-and-data/data/arrest-dashboard. Salt Lake City PD is slightly ahead with 5841.

Thanks so much @SeattlesWalker
Still pretty deserted away from Pike Place
Yeah Pike Place remains busy, outside of that there’s not allot of people that wander down to Pioneer Square

The most expensive dump in America behind San Fran.
