At the moment I have my lap, notebook to write down my reading, tarot cards I am using at the moment and a tray I use as I don't have the space at present. I will extend my little area eventually I just don't know when that will be.
So what if I were to write down in my tarot journal and do a video and put it on TH-cam.
So I could say do a simple spread for me.
I bought the deck you advertised on you channel and I just bought a book you advertised Barbara Moore. I did add a few of her books to my new book shop online.
And thank you for sharing this very informative viewing I have learnt a lot and I have written it down in my journal.
    Stay safe and blessed be.

Thanks for your video. So when you say practice...can you practice without reading for a person?

I've been learning tarot over 5 years now. The idea of practice I'm still trying to work out what that means for me. Journaling doesn't work for me as my mind doesn't work like that. Daily type of stuff (daily draws etc) - I easily get bored and it just loses meaning for me as it starts to feel monotonous. One form of practice I do have is meeting with a friend every so often and we do political type readings. And I have done readings for people and overall they have been great. Just at times I can't help but feel that sometimes I miss something or haven't gone deep enough. So I'm just wondering what other types of things I can try out or find that could work for me.

Thank you for sharing your approach and your challenges. I get it, many tarot practice require discipline. And so, if you can’t muster it, then an eclectic style of study might suite you best. As someone with intense ADHD discipline is smithing I have to work super hard to achieve. And yet, I have been daily journaling since February of this year. I’ve missed some days and I don’t journal on weekends, but it’s now a big part of my practice. I guess you just need to find a path you can stick with.

@@AvalonCameron thank you. I guess it kinda comes back to finding your style too. That's something I'm trying to work out - finding my voice, as I don't want to look like someone else or present as someone else or do what other people are doing, it just won't feel right to me. I think my practice will likely be something like this too. I'll just keep looking around and see what sparks my interest and see if I can make it my own thing. Thanks again for your videos 🥰

When you create something and putting your own voice in your work people can tell. If you put out that something ... that's not yours people are able to tell from miles away. When you give out your own voice, people will respond well. 100% I agree with you.

I have always wondered about spreads vs freeform, I just cannot remember spreads my brain doesnt seem to work that way. Ive always put the cards out and just read them using my intuition to guide the answers and interpretation but was always worried about this being the wrong approach. Thank you for putting my mind at ease. 🙏
