Finally a video where its not 80% talking 20% demo. Usually its " OH HEYY guysss today i try out the bias fx 2 and then I'm gonna feed my cat and go shopping, i'm gonna buy toilet paper, bananas...." then I close the video because I lose interest. Thank you sir!
I own BIAS FX 1 that I regretted buying because of its flat sound. Just last night I tried FX 2 and amazed how drastic the sound change compared to FX 1.
With IR's i think this sounds great. Not that stock stuff isn't passable but you can find free pro quality IR's if anyones on a budget, just look around.
From what i hear here the tones are pretty decent sounding though I seem to get better sounding tones that can match other guitars using one humbucker guitar and my GNX3k with software pickup selection, a special warp feature and no latency, though that technology is 12 years old and got discontinued soon after it came out for some strange reason as every sound you could think of is in there so I try to keep mine in good condition...sometimes the right thing comes along and you luck out and i tried just about everything out there and keep coming back to my GNX3k...IMHO.
Bias sounds thin too me. It has that digital thinness that most software has. Amplitube Max with the Boogie, ENGL etc.. sounds better imho. There are a few free sims that sound pretty damn good like, LePou Amp Suite, Guitar Rig 5 Player, Nick Crow 8505 Lead, LeCab 2.0, TSE 808 Tube Screamer that sounds damn awesome, TSE X50, The Anvil and NRR-1 by Ignite Amps, and a bunch more. My personal favorite right now is the suites from Neural DSP, very high quality and the tone is unreal for software. Anyway, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and most, stink. For what it's worth.
Thanks for your comment. This is now the third demo of BIAS FX 2 I have heard and they all sound horrendous. What do you recommend for Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier type sound? You said Amplitube Max? Thank you!!!
@@StratMatt777 Yes, the Mesa sounds spot on to me using Amplitube max. But before spending the money, if you haven't checked um out. Give Vadim Taranove a try. This has Mesa/Boogie mark lll, Randal Solar v1.0 and a Baron Customs k1000 v1.0. I haven't tried this one but it's free and may be a great sound. One I have tried and recommend is LePou-Lecto Mesa Boogie Duel Retifier. Sounds amazing to me. One other I'll recommend to keep this short is, Amp Lion, their Sim is damn good, some say the best Mesa sound. Anyway search um out and try to see what your ear says. There's quite a few great free ones but, paid does give tons of options. My fav atm is Neural DSP. Nolly is my fav archetype but Plini and Abasi sound so damn fine. Hope this helps a little. Shout out if I can help any further. Good luck my friend!

Amen!
I turned the HEY GUYS into a music video. It was cathartic. th-cam.com/video/obx2y0O1u30/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for sharing. Makes it easier for me to understand on how to arrange my pedal chain
I like that you can use a midi contol to go through your presets.
Plus you can use a wah pedal with this app. Love it just purchased the pro version.

Don’t hear major differences in guitar match, but re-guitar by blue cat audio seems to be drastic enough. Otherwise, BIAS FX 2 sounds great!✌🏾
Hey
I'm getting garbage sound with my Player Strat and Ur22C and the standalone Bias Fx2.
Are there any specific settings you use?
Same here, Any solutions yet?

I absolutely agree with ya, but I think Bias sounds good enough, at least for me
Is this thing only for metal heads.
Is it real guitar? or Bias fx2 guitar match?
I just bought this. coz of black friday sale. XD but I still need time to operate how to 。XD
Why does PC version have guitar match and ipad version doesn't?
Is this standard, pro, or elite?
Elite
App mobile ipad?
Tomorrow comes out
the dsp is a little better fx
Still sounds like digital crap
I agree Some of the tones sound digital and some metal tones sound fucking badass if you know how to tweak settings.
