People completely underestimate BTS because of pre-conceived ideas of what they are. Suga said, “if you listen to BTS’s music without prejudice, you will like it.” The problem comes when you realize most of their best music are B-sides without music videos. Danger was the title track of their first full length album, but it’s not the best song on there. Rain is. Or maybe it’s Cypher 3: Killer. Or Look Here. Or Hip Hop Lover. And every album is like that.
@@sugasmeow Dark &Wild is my favorite album. It’s not the best (that’s a catfight right there) yet after all the others, it still so special and the one I go to when I need grounding and comfort. Along with Mono. 💜
Thanks. Jimin, Jungkook and Suga did taekwondo but only Jimin has black belt and 8 years of kendo training plus other martial arts. Jin also did taekwondo he said. Most of flips, aerials and acrobatics in BTS are done by Jimin. Now they are all in the military and they all (except Jungkook; and Suga is doing social service due to his bad injury) graduated top 5 or 10. Jin and J Hope got early promotions due to their exemplary work as trainee trainers and Jimin received honorary commendation from the division commander for being the top trainee not just top 5 or 10. So he will get early promotions too.
Some of my favorites from BTS have this heavy Hip Hop/Rock sound. Then the beautiful vocals layered perfectly by the Vocal Line and they were only teenagers ffs! Hard to believe, so good ❤️🔥 this is a great workout, cleaning the house song I can't get enough of.
Danger is a banger! If you felt like this for this song, I could imagine how you would react to I Need U, RUN, Fake Love, and Spring Day (with the explanation because it will hit you harder).
It just show's they are multi talented artists who have many different musical influences and they also know how to blend those differing genres to make something really good.

Did you notice Jungkook, who is the main vocalist of the group, is rapping in this song? You will only hear and see him rap in the early BTS songs/mv's. There isn't anything Jungkook can't do...he does most of the adlibs and backgrounds in their songs as well.

Hi, I am a 52 yr old ARMY from TN. I have been an ARMY since 2014. I became an ARMY during this album release actually. I am not sure how you feel about hearing a few seconds of a song you haven't reacted to yet but there is a great video by boracity magazine channel that has a discography breakdown/timeline of what BTS consider their chapter 1 (pre solo work/military enlistment). It was uploaded about 8 months ago I think. I strongly suggest you check it out if you want to understand their process. I can tell you this, BTS consider their albums to be like books that tell a specific story or take you on a journey through an overall theme. Each song is like a page of the story, each album is a chapter of the book, and when taken together, the albums form a series culminating in the anthology album Proof. They have said many times that their music should be listened to in order from album 1 track 1 to understand what they are talking about. That doesn't mean you can't listen to and enjoy the songs individually because you clearly can. But if you have a desire to better understand them and their art, you should listen in order. No one compares its a one two knock out.

The album describes that period between adolescence and young adulthood. It was recorded in the US while they were filming a reality show. They also recorded in the same studio in LA where the choir and the UCLA Bruin Marching Band recorded their part for “ON” and other songs in “Map of the Soul 7”. I don’t even know how they did it because they were exhausted. There are footage of them sleeping in the studio while waiting for their turn to record. Anyways, this album is great. My favorite songs are “Rain” (I really really want you to listen to it), “Cypher part3” of course, “What am I to you” (might be my favorite RM intro) and “Let Me Know”.
