    Hopefully a rail company will purchase the AN's. All are currently stored in Melbourne with a uncertain future

      Yes, all are stored and it's just a wait and see what happens with them at the moment, we can only hope they'll make a come back one day!

    They look similar to the RL class & the EL Class

      @@SouthTrainsAndPlanes yes that's true.& they seem interesting too.because The An class used to belong to Australian national rail & the RL class used to be with Coote industrial a former rail company that ran freight.& the El class is with Cfcla Loco leasing company.
