AN Class Leading: 4000hp EMD Diesel Locomotive: Australian Freight Trains

Scenes recorded throughout 2014 and 2015 of Pacific National AN class locomotives leading trains in NSW. At this time, the AN’s were predominantly rostered for the Clyde to Crips Creek garbage train.

Hopefully a rail company will purchase the AN's. All are currently stored in Melbourne with a uncertain future

Yes, all are stored and it's just a wait and see what happens with them at the moment, we can only hope they'll make a come back one day!

They look similar to the RL class & the EL Class

@@SouthTrainsAndPlanes yes that's true.& they seem interesting too.because The An class used to belong to Australian national rail & the RL class used to be with Coote industrial a former rail company that ran freight.& the El class is with Cfcla Loco leasing company.
