In this video I will cover the rest of Wave 1 and Wave 2 as well! I'll be in control of the Brawnen faction playing the first scenario called Ignition as we face the Heirs! Enjoy! ;D What should I buy with my source going into Wave 3? Let me know in the comments below!
I just played this and the 2nd scenario last night. I have to say your placement of the earthscape tile was brilliant. Sometimes I forget about changing the pathing of minions.
Great catch and ironically no gameplay impacts as I rolled two damage which is what would have come my way anyway. haha Must have had a lapse of the mind at that point!
I don't blame you! It's natural for us to wanna roll for damage! :D By the way, thank you SO much for making such great videos. I love your teaching method, and I thank you for bringing Chip Theory Games to my attention!
When you remove health chips, you do it from the bottom, so it's better to put minion upgrade chips on the bottom as well, below the health chips - that way you remember to remove them first.
At 41:55 soulden't the architect have been hit by an enemy spire ? Also earlyer at 15:53 when the Elfenkazy did his attack would it be possible to put it betwean Kram the Harrier and the Source paddler and the spire? Then Aegis would not have been hit? I did play now 3 Solo missions made a lot of mistakes sometimes even forgot to rol dice when spire attack a lot of things you can forget lol but it is a lot of fun to play. I did also play against my Son of 13 PvP and i did lose he also plays Tower defence games on his phone so i need more practice i guess haha. But i really like it so far. Also going to try To Co-Op scenario see how that plays out.
Hey Gert! The spire only had a range of one. That talent will trying and hit as many units as possible. Hope that helps! Glad to hear you like it too! :)
At 15:56, why did you not move the Elfinkaze to the path hex above where you ended up placing it? That would've damaged the spire, the Peddler, the Harrier and Kram.
Thanks for the question! Moving the Elfinkaze to the path hex wouldn’t have hit Kram though. It’s only things adjacent to the Elfinkaze that would take damage. So the hex it was placed on was optimal for the AI. Cheers!
Sorry, it looked from the camera angle that the hex directly above where the Elfinkaze landed would've hit Karam, too. I just wanted to make sure I haven't been making things TOO easy for me in my playthroughs and wanted to hear your reasoning, thank you!
Rolling Solo there is a spot in the middle of the Peddler the Minaret Kram and the Harrier. It’s on the normal path. Up and to the left on the video that would have been a legal place for the Elfinkaze to go to blow up.
That would have been a valid spot as well. However by going where it did it’s targeting two of my units plus Aegis is on his last legs. The Source Peddler is last on the target priority list. :)
You caught the quick strike part, but it was for the good, because splash would have hit Kram as well as the Harrier. At least I think so, but it's been a few months since I played.
At 23 minutes, you decided not to purchase a Fortress Advancement, and carry over the source to the next round. Is there a reason why it was not appropriate to buy Source Drill level one for 3 source, knowing it would pay for itself at the next Income phase? It seems that would leave you with same amount next round, and bonus source each subsequent round? Am I missing something?
Since you revealed the Source peddler, the Minaret spire would attack it every turn when it had no other targets, right? Cause picking of those landmark units is also their last priority if nothing else is possible. It could even target the Grizzled oak at one point.
Never mind you corrected yourself! Great camera job, it was really easy to follow what is happening. Since the game takes so much space on the table it's hard to see details when it's zoomed out. Definitely thinking about getting this game at one point since I have everything from Too many bones. :D
Awesomeness. Chiptheory has been tauted by some people in my game nights as amazing designers. Seems legitimate. Love the playthroughs of cloudspire, but would love to see some REICHBUSTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and maybe some post human Keep up the good work. You rock! Also, what do you think of stormsunder?
Hey! Thanks so much! Chip Theory Games makes some awesome solo experiences. They go above and beyond for the solo players! Yes, Reichbusters is on the list of games. Keep an eye out for more unboxing videos coming soon! Don’t promise playthroughs but I’m certainly interested in doing one for RB. :)
In case it wasnt already mentioned, flying doesnt allow you to move through units. So the elfinkazi would not have been able to move through the harrier and hit Kram (and the harrier) during wave 1 16:01
@@RollingSolo The bear one that gave you the free spire. If you ranged attacked him first. Wouldn't that had triggered his counter? You stated a enemy counters the first time they are attacked. But I am unsure if a ranged attack triggers a counter when the enemy can not reach you.

It certainly can give you an advantage to change the landscape. Plus the ability to build a Spire on it too! ;D
I may have missed this, but at 44:10, why did you roll for the Harrier attack? The dice are rolled only for spires, if I recall correctly?
Great catch and ironically no gameplay impacts as I rolled two damage which is what would have come my way anyway. haha

It’s funny now that I look back at it haha. CTG is a great maker of solo games. They really go the extra mile for solo gamers.
Really looking forward to the next episode
Me too! Thanks for watching Sean. Cheers!

That's correct! Thanks for watching and that feedback :)
tbh dude its your coverage of this game that is gonna make me pull the trigger lol
Happy to hear you may have found a game that works for you. Good to know your prefer my coverage too. Thanks so much! :D

39:25: shouldn't the Harrier make an attack on the Dispatch before you attack it with the spire, due to it's QuickStrike ability ?
never mind, you corrected yourself a short while later.
Really great vid by the way
Hey Ronald! Sorry for not getting back to you. Good to here I answered it in the video :)
Hope it helped you out. See you around!

No apology needed! Always good to double check :)

40:37 when your dispatch platform attacked the harrier you did not used the splash to damage your dispatch unit, was that optional?
Hey Peztronco! I believe I missed that. Was it mentioned in the pinned comment? Thanks for watching :)
@@RollingSolo Splash damage is optional, BUT if you do it hits ALL adjacent units, including friendlies.
You caught the quick strike part, but it was for the good, because splash would have hit Kram as well as the Harrier. At least I think so, but it's been a few months since I played.
Hey! Ya, splash damage would hit around the original target. :)

I looked at that one but had a plan in mind I terms of building a spire which would require source! Great question Danny!

Good catch Mark! I agree with you, at that point in time it shouldn’t have. Actually would have helped me.
Yeah I am defiantly sold on this game, everything the Chip Theory games has is really good not to get.
They put a lot of effort into the solo game. Beyond the norm for sure!
At 30 min mark. Could you have shot the baddie with your ranged minion to burn his counter? That would have saved your hero 2 health.
Hey Joshua! Which baddie are you referring to? As I did a range attack against an enemy. Cheers!

Ah! Nope, the enemy has to be able to reach you to retaliate :)
@@RollingSolo Thank you for the explanation
No problem sir!
