I have used those black flower buckets buckets a number of ways: turn upside down in a large planter (or other) then put a smaller pot of flowers in top; turn upside down in garden and shrubbery then put a smaller pot of colorful annuals on top; turn upside down and cover with cloth to create a "table" for use in front porch displays; use to hold transplants like small shrubs or tomatoes before planting in the garden; fill with dirt and plant directly in these plastic pots; plant directly into these black plastic pots things that trail over the side or have big color on top like geraniums because the deeper soil means less drying out; these pots work better for dalias too because they are deeper than many pots.
