Hi from New Zealand. I am trying so hard giving it all I got. I got my 1st keyboard a month ago and had 4 lessons already and after 25years (only 33yrs old) I'm getting back into playing and loving sitting down trying to praiss Jesus thru my playing. Can you please do the new elevation worship song come again? Or the new song build my life? Is there a one on one lesson I can book with you? New Zealand has gone back into lockdown after no covid for over a year but 1 new delta case and we've been at home with 4 young kids and not allowed to go out adise from a walk and supermarket/doctors etc...so piano lessons would lift my spirits cus I'm really struggling

Its funny; I learned somewhere, we must avoid "dissonance" when playing at all cost (I guess to avoid clashing harmonies). Huh! I guess I was wrong 😕 🤷. I must say though that, that is why I'm here- again! For some reason, that "sound" has found a spot in my heart ❤ (dont know why and can't explain it!). Anyways, great job and thank you! (Back to the video 🙂)

I wanted to ask a question about the secret behind the dissonance voicing u were using. Does it apply only to the 1,3,4 note (G4) of every 5 chord in any key 🔑 or does it apply to other diatonic chords in a key as well. I ask cuz I tried experimenting with other songs but in a different key as well and observed a few interesting sound effects with it. 1 cool effect was, when u invert the chord (1st inversion), it sounds really cool when used as a broken chord over the -6 chord, 5-chord and 4-chord.
Another really cool observation was, in the key 🔑 of C the 1, 3, 4 note of the 5-chord when played as a broken chord in the right hand (Ist inversion) over the 1 chord [bass] sound exactly like the intro to Jaci Valquezs (sorry for the misspelling of the name; no disrespect intended) hit song: on my knees (don't know if you've heard it). However, it's abit mind boggling because it's an inverted 5 chord [notes] over a 1 chord [bass]; not a 1, 3, 4 of the same chord in both hands. 🤔 (Not sure if you get where I'm going with this.) The question I guess I'm trying to as is-WhatsApp with that? What is the relationship between the 5-chord and the 1-chord (besides its most known and obvious "dominant" funtion: making way for the 1-chord to be played next) with the above 1, 3, 4 concept in mind. How do u use it or how can the idea be applied to other songs. Could it be used as improv.? What other songs uses this concept (besides Jaci's)? Could u do a short video to talk a little more about it for old times sake? I'm not implying you owe me a favor 🤦♂️ but umm, I just thought maybe it will be a cool topic to dive into for your utube subs as well (which I am a part of).

G#m7 ... play d#, g#, b and f... what makes it "minor"? Or is that it?
Play G# B#(C) and D#... that is a normal root major chord...now notice when you lower the B# to a B...now it has that minor sound. It's all about the middle note.
